This paper presents a robust state observer design for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear systems with time delay and external disturbance. A sufficient conditions on the existence of the proposed observer are characterized by linear matrix inequalities. It is also shown that the proposed observer design can reduce the effect on the estimation error of external disturbance up to the prescribed level in spite of the existence of time delay. Finally, a numerical example is provided to verify the proposed design method.

The paper deals with asymtotic stabillity of nonlinear nonautinomous systems by Lyapunov's direct method. The proposed Lyapunov-like function V(t, x) needs not be continuous in t and Lipschitz in x in a Banach space. The class of systems considered is allowed to be nonautonomous and infinite-dimensional and we relax the boundedness, the Lipschitz assumption on the system and the definite decrescent condition on the Lyapunov function.

In this paper we introduce the notions of orbital Lipschitz stability (in variation) and orbital exponential asymptotic stability (in variation) of $C^{r}$ dynamical systems (or $C^{r}$ diffeomor-phisms) on Riemannian manifolds, and study the embedding problem of those concepts in $C^{r}$ dynamical systems.stems.

The Berezin transform is the analogue of the Poisson transform in the Bergman spaces. Dyakonov characterize the holomorphic weighted Lipschitz function in the unit disk in terms of the Possion integral. In this paper, we characterize the harmonic weighted Lispchitz function in terms of the Berezin transform instead of the Poisson integral.

We present new sufficient convergence criteria for the convergence of the secant-method to a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation in a Banach space. Our idea uses Lipschitz and center-Lipschitz instead of just Lipschitz conditions in the convergence analysis. The new convergence criteria can always be weaker than the corresponding ones in earlier studies. Numerical examples are also provided in this study to solve equations in cases not possible before.

Let $f=h+{\bar{g}}$ be a harmonic mapping of the unit disk ${\mathbb{D}}$ with the holomorphic part h satisfying that h is injective and $h({\mathbb{D}})$ is an M-linearly connected domain. In this paper, we obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions for f to be bi-Lipschitz, which is in particular, quasiconformal. Moreover, some distortion theorems are also obtained.

It is well-known that the BMO norm is equivalent to the Garsia norm. In this paper, we characterize mean-Lipschitz spaces by using Garsia-type norms on the upper half space $\mathbb{R}_+^{n+1}$.

In this paper we define the concept of $Fr{\acute{e}}chet$ function algebras on hemicompact spaces. So we show that under certain condition they can be represented as a projective limit of Banach function algebras. Then the class of $Fr{\acute{e}}chet$ Lipschitz algebras on hemicompact metric spaces are defined and their relations with the class of lipschitz algebras on compact metric spaces are studied.

In this paper, we deal with a class of one-dimensional reflected backward stochastic differential equations driven by a Brownian motion and the martingales of Teugels associated with an independent L$\acute{e}$vy process having a stochastic Lipschitz coefficient. We derive the existence and uniqueness of solutions for these equations via Snell envelope and the fixed point theorem.
