  • This study attempted to anyone so that you can experience the dance, the dance activities were considering the personal characteristics of the elementary school program that combines dance movements and theatrical representation by presenting a model of the program. May appear in physical activity and changes in emotion recognition focused on elementary school students by applying to the program, the result of applying the participants through a program of dance activities, according to the mutual recognition of body motion expressed through the body, and how to communicate the meaning of the expressions in various ways positive thinking, voluntary participation, and interpersonal relationships and was able to deliver, and have self-confidence and self-esteem for physical activity and altered consciousness.

Exploring the Experiences of People with Disabilities in Korea before and after Using Personal Assistance Services (장애인의 활동보조서비스 이용 이후 삶의 변화에 대한 연구: 신체적, 심리적, 사회관계적 측면을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of people with disabilities using Personal Assistance Services (PAS) in Korea. A qualitative study based on face-to-face interviews with people with mobility disabilities was conducted. Nine consumers with disabilities participated in the study. Study participants pointed out five changes in their life after using PAS: 1) increase in daily life activities, 2) increased perceived control, 3)increased psychological self-reliance, 4) growth of relationships with others in terms of both degree and frequency, and 5) more equalized relationships with family, Finally, article makes recommendations regarding the future provision of PAS.

Self-Efficacy According to Economic Activities of the Disabled (장애인의 경제활동에 따른 자기효능감)

  • A survey was conducted of the total of 57 adults with disabilities from 60 years old to more than 20 years old residing in Jeju Island in which they were interviewed three times in May 2015. Supplementary data was provided by one of the male adults with disability who acts as a lecturer and helped to improve our awareness of the disabilities. The following conclusions were drawn from this research: First, as regards the effect of the economic activity of the disabled on their self-efficacy, their economic activity does not have any significant effect on their self-regulating efficacy and task difficulty preference, but does have an effect on their self-confidence. Third, according to the $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ verification on the differences in the self-efficacy of the disabled depending on their economic activity, employment (M=23.48, p<.04) and lecturer activities (M=22.06, p<.04) (had a greater effect?) than unemployment (M=18.93, p=<.04) but no difference between their employment and lecturer activities was found.

  • The early stage of Korean language education was to understand grammar. However, recent Korean language education aims to improve expressive ability for smooth communication. Hence, educational drama for education has gained attention as one of the effective ways of improving communication skills. Educational drama provides an actual conversational situation in which one can use appropriate words and grammar depending on the situation. Non-verbal expression such as body language and facial expression could be picked up so one also improves one's communicative abilities naturally. This means that educational drama shares Korean language education's goal of improving communicative ability. Moreover, the student becomes the core of the activity and finds solutions through cooperation with others, and this also helps improve social skills and self-esteem. This thesis covers methods of having interviews, re-writing texts to scripts, writing up post-script by imagining the following text, role-playing, and improving expressive ability by debating educational theatrical techniques. To make these activities successful, good quality VOD and learning materials shall be developed and used. Also, efficient training programs shall be created so that teachers make use of what they learn and improve their teaching skills.

Effects of After-school Forest Healing Program Activities on Infant's Pro-social Behavior and Self-efficacy (방과후 산림치유프로그램 활동이 유아의 친사회적 행동과 자아효능감 향상에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was intended to investigate the effects of after-school forest healing programs on the pro-social behavior and self-efficacy of young children using the attributes of forest and the forest healing factors. The children attending a kindergarten located in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ - dong, Cheongju city were divided into a test group which participated in the forest healing program activities and a control group which participated in the regular programs of the kindergarten but not in the forest healing program. Each group consisted of 20 boys and girls aged 3 to 5 years. The forest healing program was conducted once a week from 10 April to 10 July in 2017 for a total of 12 sessions, and each session lasted one hour (60 minutes). The pro-sociality behavior and self-efficacy test of the children was conducted before and after the forest healing program, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. The result showed that the pro-social behaviors that indicated the ability to execute the positive action and the self-efficacy that indicated the self-confidence were statistically significant (p<0.05). The young children who participated in the forest healing program improved their self-esteem through positive thoughts from being with their peer in nature. Moreover, they increased not only ecological knowledge but also consideration for others and cooperative spirit. They also greatly improved the ability to control personal emotion and the ability to form the personal relationship which are the sub-factors of pro-sociality, the ability to adapt to the early childhood education institution, and the physical efficacy which is the sub-factor of self-efficacy. It was concluded that the after-school forest healing program had a positive impact on pro-social behavior and self-efficacy.

  • 혁신에 관한 많은 연구들이 혁신의 공급 측면에 초점을 맞춰 진행되어 왔으나, 본 연구에서는 혁신의 공급측면 대신 수요 측면에 초점을 맞춰 혁신 신뢰성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고자 하였다. 문헌 연구를 통해 혁신 신뢰성에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 소비자의 연령과 소득수준, 개인적 네트워크, 기회인식, 역량 자신감을 선정하였다. 가설 검증을 위해 국내 2,000명의 설문 응답자를 기반으로 한 창업 분야의 글로벌 데이터베이스인 GEM 데이터를 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 기업의 마케팅 활동의 효과성을 제고하는 데 실질적으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

A Studies on the Effect of the Mediating Variable Affecting the Business Performance in the TPM Activity (TPM활동에 있어서 기업성과에 영향을 미치는 매개변수의 효과에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to constructs the model by the relationship between the most important ones of TPM's step activities which are derived from the result of AHP analysis and the management performance. And it is to analyze whether step activities have impact on corporate performance through the mediating variable from a convergence point. Also it is to choose four step activities - irrational field and loss improvement, preparation and system establishment for the basic conditions of 5S, initial cleaning, loss analysis of facility efficiency - as independent variables, and to analyze the effect of TPM activity level as mediating variable on management performance as dependent variable. According to the analysis, four step activities don't have direct effect on corporate performance but TPM activity level as mediating variable has a full-mediated effect on corporate performance. That is, TPM activity level has been shown to play a role as mediating variable. Therefore, higher recognition of confidence in facility, awareness of self-development and definitive management of individual work shows TPM activity can contribute to corporate performance successfully.

Impacting Student Confidence : The effects of using virtual manipulatives and increasing fraction understanding. (수학에 대한 자신감 증진: 가상학습교구를 통한 분수 개념 이해의 결과)

  • There have been studies reporting the increase in student confidence in mathematics when using technology. However, past studies indicating a positive correlation between technology and confidence in mathematics do not explain why they see this positive outcome. With increased availability and easy access to the Internet in schools and the development of free online virtual manipulatives, this research was interested in how the use of virtual manipulatives in mathematics can affect students confidence in their mathematical abilities. Our hypothesis was that the classes using virtual manipulatives which allows students to connecting dynamic visual image with abstract symbols will help students gain a deeper conceptual understanding of math concept thus increasing their confidence and ability in mathematics. The participants in this study were 46 fifth-grade students in three ability groups: one high, one middle and one low. During a two-week unit on fractions, students in three groups interacted with several virtual manipulative applets in a computer lab. Data sources in the project included a pre and posttest of students mathematics content knowledge, Confidence in Learning Mathematics Scale, field notes and student interviews, and classroom videotapes. Our aim was to find evidence for increased level of confidence in mathematics as students strengthened their understanding of fraction concepts. Results from the achievement score indicated an overall main effect showing significant improvement for all ability groups following the treatment and an increase in the confidence level from the preassessment of the Confidence in Learning Mathematics Scale in the middle and high ability groups. An interesting finding was that the confidence level for the low ability group students who had the highest confidence level in the beginning did not change much in the final confidence scale assessment. In the middle and high ability groups, the confidence level did increase according to the improvement of the contest posttest. Through interviews, students expressed how the virtual manipulatives assisted their understanding by verifying their answers as they worked and facilitated their ability to figure out math concept in their mind and visually.

과학영재 초등학생들의 지적 배경 조사

  • This study investigated the background of the intellectual ability that consists of family environment, intellectual priority, career aims, intellectual extracurricular activities of the students who were selected for the Science Gifted Education Center. We performed a survey and analysis of the students at the Science Gifted Education Center in order to explore their learning attitudes and intellectual ability, as well as the elements that represent their attitudes. As a result of the study, I found that the students in the Science Gifted Education Center generally had good economic and family backgrounds that showed no significant hardship in supporting the students. The families were also highly educated intellectually. In case the talented students in Science desired to be pure scientists, they liked the Science subjects and enjoyed reading science books. It was mostly the male students that took part. As for the attitude toward intellectual ability, they expected to improve their abilities as they gained knowledge and increased their intelligence through learning, although they didn't confide with us on their intelligence quotients. Analysis of The Effect of The Digital Divide on The Digital Daily Life of The Elderly (디지털 격차가 노인의 디지털 일상생활에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • This study is to analyze the influence of the digital divide on the digital daily life of the elderly. Adaptation tendencies for digital divide were measured and classified into groups for elderly people over 60 years old. And digital communication skills, digital confidence, digital self-control, and digital life satisfaction were measured. The research model used a cross over design model and a dual mediation model. As a result of the study, first, it was found that a group with high adaptive accessibility to the digital divide had a positive effect on the overall digital daily life. Second, a group with high adaptive literacy to the digital divide had a positive effect on the digital self-control. Third, digital communication skill has a positive effect on digital life satisfaction, and digital confidence and digital self-control play a mediating role. Based on these findings, we discussed strategies to overcome the digital divide in old age.
