Development of Motion based Training Contents: "3D Space Exploration" Case Study (동작 기반의 훈련콘텐츠 : "3D 우주탐험" 개발사례)

  • To enhance the effect of science educational contents, we developed a motion based training content: 3D space exploration. In this content, we used the 3D depth camera for user's motion recognition. Learners have to conduct the space station maintenance mission using the motion based natural and intuitive interface. The result this study is expected to propose the immersive training simulation for young science learners.

  • HRDI(Human Resources Development Institute) has not performed the efficient costing model because of it's variety types of institutes, courses and vocational education and training techniques. This study proposed the integrated costing model using job costing, activity based costing and standard costing methods to meet needs of HRDI. And the model will be used in two-phased approach including adoptable model and ideal model. The integrated model includes costing techniques, cost elements, indirect cost allocation bases and cost analysis methods using a contribution margin model to calculate and analyse cost information in HRDI. The proposed integrated costing model of HRDI has some limitation of no relationship with the performance management. But this model will prepare valuable information by using detailed data and costing techniques. And then this model will be developed as a advanced costing model using standard costing to relate with the performance model.

  • The paradigm of education has changed with the progress of the information and communication technology. In school, there has been developing and animately discussing many data and ways of using web-practicality for teaching and learning. On the other hand, relatively, there are negligent faces about web-practicality for extension of emotion and will of our children. The common points of pre-studies about the increase of self-concept show that it is difficult to join all of the information because the work is off-line, therefore limiting it's advance so that the program is improved. This study has designed and embodied the system of web based self-expression training program. The result of application of this system has showed the positive effect on formation of self-concept of Cheongju elementary school students.

A Study on the Reasons for Participation in the Training of the Work-Learning Parallel Program (중소기업 일·학습병행제의 훈련 참여 이유에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, parallel work-learning training, which was started in 2013 as a pre-employment promotion policy, is an important factor that determines the success or failure of training. As a time when various institutional supplementation is needed to encourage company participation, this study is to identify the factors of participation of companies participating in work-learning parallel. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted of companies participating in parallel work-learning in Chungnam, and the results were analyzed using the structural equation model. As a result of the study, the reason for the company's participation in parallel work-learning was firstly, 84% of government subsidy received education and training expenses. Second, 66% of workers were able to pay less than regular workers, and thirdly, it was easy to hire new employees in the field. 26%, 17% of them were invited by acquaintances for no particular reason. Therefore, the study suggests that participation in the work-learning parallel training contributes to the management costs, management of employee turnover, and human resource development. In future research, it is necessary to subdivide tests and estimates by conducting studies on regions, occupations, gender, wages, and years of service in Korea.

  • In order to educate and train proper work forces who can satisfy the industry demands, Human Resource Development Korea had developed the Korean National Occupational Standards. Following to the competency-based-curriculum and the guide lines which were developed based on this standard, the training program fur a machine design has been developed. It has been applied in several colleges and some typical examples which were carried out by students as term project are presented to show the effectiveness of the developed program.

  • 국내에서 다양한 규모와 종류의 화학사고가 지속 발생 중이며 이 중 초동대응 실패로 피해가 확산되는 경우도 발생하면서 이에 따른 화학사고 대응능력 향상에 대한 요구가 생기게 되었다. 그러나 이는 코로나 이전의 상황이며 2020년 이후에는 코로나 19로 인한 사회 여러 분야의 변화로 새로운 개념과 방법으로서 화학사고 대비와 안전에 있어 중요하게 고려할 사항이 생기게 되었다. 화학사고와 같은 특수 상황에 대비하여, 국가적으로 코로나 19 상황 하에서의 재난의료대응 인력에 대한 해당 재난 유형에 대한 교육훈련 프로그램 및 정책이 제공되어야 하며, 재난의료대응기관에서는 현장구조자 및 응급의료진 등 재난의료대응 전문 인력의 양성을 위한 코로나 19와 같은 신종 감염병을 대비한 상황 하에서의 지침 마련, 시스템 보완, 사전 교육이 시행되어야 한다.

A Study on the Consciousness Survey of Improvement of Emergency Rescue Training -Based on the Fire Fighting Organizations in Gangwon Province- (긴급구조훈련 개선에 관한 의식조사 연구 -강원도 소방조직을 중심으로-)

  • Purpose: Fire-fighting organizations are the very first agencies that take actions at a disaster scene, and emergency rescue training is carried out for prompt and systematic response. However, there is a need for a change due to the limitations in emergency rescue trainings such as perfunctory trainings or trainings without considering regional or environmental characteristics. Method: This study is to conduct theoretical review with regard to emergency rescue training and present a measure to improve the emergency rescue training through attitude survey targeting fire-fighting organizations in Gangwon area. Result: Facilities that cause difficulties when doing emergency rescue activity were mostly hazardous material storage and processing facilities. In terms of the level of emergency rescue and response task, most respondents answered that the emergency rescue was insufficient. The respondents answered that the effectiveness of emergency rescue training was helpful, but some responses showed that the training was not helpful because of scenario-based training, seeming training, similar training carried out every year, unrealistic training, and lack of competent authorities' interest and perfunctory participations. Most respondents answered for the appropriateness of emergency rescue training and evaluation that they were satisfied, however, they were not satisfied with the evaluation methods irrelevant to the type of training, evaluation methods requiring unnecessary training scale, and evaluation methods leading perfunctory participations of competent authorities. Lastly, respondents mostly answered that training reflecting various damage situations are necessary regarding the demand on the improvement of emergency rescue training. Conclusion: The improvement measures for emergency rescue training are as follows. First, it is necessary to set and prepare various training contents in accordance with regional characteristics by reviewing major disasters occurred in the region. Second, it is necessary to revise the emergency rescue training guidelines and manuals for appropriate training plan for each fire station, provide education and training for working-level staff members, and establish training in a way that types, tactics, and strategies of emergency rescue training could be utilized practically. Third, it is necessary to prepare a scheme that can lead participation and provide incentive or penalty from the planning stage of training in order to increase the participation of supporting and competent authorities when an actual disaster occurs. Fourth, it is necessary to establish support arrangements and cooperative systems by authority through training by fire stations or zones in preparation for disaster situations that may occur simultaneously. Fifth, it is necessary to put emphasis on the training process rather than the result for emergency rescue training and evaluation, pay attention to the identification of supplement points for each disaster situation and make improvements. Especially, type or form of training should be considered rather than evaluating the execution status of detailed processes, and the evaluation measure that can consider the completeness (proficiency) of training and the status of role performance rather than the scale of training should be prepared. Sixth, type and method of training should be improved in accordance with the characteristics of each fire station by identifying the demand of working-level staff members for an efficient emergency rescue training.

An Intelligent Tutoring System for Nondestructive Testing Training (비파괴검사를 위한 지능형 교육 시스템 개발)

  • This paper is written to introduce a multimedia tutoring system for nondestructive testing using personal computer. Nondestructive testing, one of the chief methods for inspecting welds and many other components, is very difficult for the NDT inspectors to understand its technical basis without a wide experience. And it is necessary for considerable repeated education and training for keeping their knowledge. The tutoring system that can simulate NDT works is suggested to solve the above problem based on reasonable condition. The tutoring system shows basic theories of nondestructive testing in a book-style with video images and hyper-links, and it offers practices, in which users can simulate the testing equipment. The book-style and simulation practices provide effective and individual environments for learning nondestructive testing.

  • In knowledge-based information society, national competitive power is determined by human resources rather than by material resources. Therefore, training technicians with new skills has been gathering as a question Polytechnic colleges play an important role in training technicians as a 2 year courses educational institute conducting both master craftsmen and craftsmen and occupational training. At present, an electricity departments of polytechnic colleges should look at the reality of retraining which is taken more time and more budget for graduates' employment in the industries, as reorganizing in knowledge based school subject they also train the students to be the excellent poly technicians who have both theory and practice by reflecting new technology in developing curriculum needed at the jobsite to join in upgrading our country's competitiveness as a go-between technician at the jobsite. In this paper, a four-semester system was investigated to meet the condition of colleges educating the skilled technicians needed the industry by analyzing the status of polytechnic colleges.

A Study on Practical Tool Education for Improving Injection Molding Quality (사출성형품질 개선을 위한 실무금형교육에 관한 연구)

  • In injection molding process, the appearance quality issue occurs in most injection molded article. One of thermal designs for the mold was performed by increasing the cavity wall temperature with being as uniform as possible in any position. On the basis of the practical evaluation, the cavity wall temperature and finishing machined cavity surface under the optimum processing conditions are the most significant factors to avoid the appearance issue on the plastic part for a good cosmetic quality. Also, the wrong choice of gate type and location can have a considerable effect on the quality of a molded part and it's so important to keep the correct runner balance from each cavity. We've proposed the education training model of the practical tool technology course for the field oriented education to improve practical tool technology ability and optimized tooling design for injection molding quality which can be performed at the workplace substantially.
