Introduction of BETIA in Britain: A Review (영국 전력시장의 BETTA 체제 도입과 시사점 분석)

  • 영국은 1989년 Electricity Act의 발효를 시작으로 전력산업 구조개편을 시작하였다. 이후 Pool 체계를 구성하였으며 10여년의 운영을 거쳐 NETA 체계를 새롭게 구성하였다. 이후 스코틀랜드 전력시장을 통합한 BETTA 체계를 도입하여 영국 전체의 전력시장을 통합하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 영국의 전력시장 구조개편 과정을 분석하고 각 체계의 특성을 정리하였으며 이러한 구조개편 과정에서 얻을 수 있는 시사점을 도출하였다.

Systematic Review of the Research Evidence Examining the Effectiveness of Occupational Therapy Using a Sensory Integration Approach (감각통합에 기반을 둔 작업치료효과에 관한 체계적 고찰)

  • Objective : This study aimed to systematically reviewed to identify, evaluate, synthesize the research literature and suggested to the research direction on the effectiveness of occupational therapy using a sensory integration approach. Methods : We analyzed 10 studies that identified the effectiveness of occupational therapy using a sensory integration approach for children and adolescents offering in MEDLINE/PubMed and http://ajot.aotapress.net between 1993 and 2011. Results : The subjects were the sensory modulation disorder and autism spectrum. The different intervention strategies were similar to a previous studies. Intervention dosage was over 20 sessions, 2~3days per week more than 10weeks. Occupational therapy using a sensory integration approach may result in positive outcome in motor performance, behavioral outcomes, academic and psychoeducational outcomes and tried to currently identify the effect of intervention outcomes in sensory processing and occupational performance using the GAS. Conclusion : Clinicians have a minimal idea planing a research design and a evidence running a study.

  • The Korean government has established a plan on the 'service operating system of public libraries', which divides the local libraries into a central library, regional libraries, and small branches. However, due to the low interest of the libraries and, above all, the structural problems caused by the dualization of the library administrative bodies, no action plans have been developed. This study intends to propose an integrated operating system for public libraries in Busan metropolitan and to design specific roles and functions according to the library status. To the ends, this study examined the Korean government's plan for public library operation, analyzed the operation cases of foreign public libraries, and finally suggested the detailed action plan of an integrated operating system based on the case of Busan Metropolitan City. The data were collected from literature review and on site field survey, supplemented by e-mail inquiry and official statistical information.

  • This study presents a multilingual integrated ontological approach that enables linking classification systems. thesauri. and terminology databases in science and technology for more effective indexing and information retrieval online. In this integrated system, we designed a thesaurus model with concept as a unit and designated essential data elements for a terminology database on the basis of ISO 12620 standard. The classification system for science and technology adopted in this study provides subject access channels from other existing classification systems through its mapping table. A prototype system was implemented with the field of nuclear energy as an application area.

  • The occurrence of disaster lately is coming with the more complex form and increasing the necessity of National Infrastructures Protection Plan(NIPP). International and domestic laws and systems related to critical infrastructures were investigated. The program in which the classification of national critical infrastructures was expanded eight fields to thirteen fields including emergency services, large gathering sites, defense industrial base, and national monuments was presented in this study. The plan for integrating national critical infrastructures, national important infrastructures and national security infrastructures and a NIPP framework were proposed.

Integrated Service Framework for Naval Ship using REST Architecture (REST 아키텍처를 이용한 함정 통합 서비스 프레임워크)

  • The functions of various systems inside the naval ships have been improved and diversified to prepare for the future battlefield and satisfy new requirements. The number of missions and operating displays with which a crew has to deal has increased. In this paper, Integrated Service Framework for Naval Ships is proposed. The proposed framework is based on REST architecture and it interfaces the networks of each systems in the ship. The connected data and functions are rebuilt as an object and they are provided as HTTP and JSON based APIs. The prototype of the framework was implemented in a combat system test-bed and its feasibility was proved with performance tests. With the proposed framework, operational efficiency for a naval ship can be achieved by designing new integrated displays and HCI which utilize whole ship's capabilities.

  • Future warfare is evolving with advanced science and technology, introducing a variety of unmanned and manned combat systems. These systems generate and exchange massive amounts of information, challenging current tactical communication systems as a foundation for future communication infrastructure. To analyze the information distribution capability of the Army TIGER corps, this paper examines four scenarios: standalone ground network operation, integrated network operation, load distribution, and error recovery. Utilizing M&S results, we highlight the potential of a multilayer integrated command and control network, incorporating ground, air, and space networks, to enhance the reliability and stability of the overall communication network.

  • As the embedded software for weapon system is embossed, the information management system is required to service and manage the technical information of embedded software systematically. But the technical information documents are managed by its own organization separately, it's hard to service the information and share it with anyone who need. In this paper, to manage the embedded software information systematically, we analyze the information management system built in 2004 and the defence law/rule. Also we distinguish the software information from defence laws to manage systematically and analyze the requirements of the information system. Based on these, we suggest implementing the management system to increase efficiency of managing the weapon embedded software information. Through this, we can improve the utilization and reusability of the weapon embedded software.

Study on Forecasting Urban Rail Demand Reflecting Transfer Fare Value in a Non-integrated Fare System (독립.환승할인요금체계하의 환승요금가치를 고려한 도시철도 수요추정 연구)

  • The recent increase of light rail construction by the private sector in Korea has caused a new issue in forecasting rail demand. Integrated fare systems between several rail operators is convenient and brings cost savings to users, and therefore is also very effective in increasing demand. However, it causes some short-term revenue loss to operators so that the private sector often suggests a non-integrated fare system. The current rail demand forecasting model is based upon an integrated fare system. Thus this model cannot be used to forecast the demand with a non-integrated fare system. Some value of transfer fare should be estimated and applied to forecast the demand in a non-integrated fare system. This study conducted a stated preference (SP) survey on urban railway passengers and estimated the value of transfer fare. The estimated value is 2,609 Won/hr, which is about 52% of in-vehicle time. This shows railway users have a tendency to pay more for transfer fares to save time or distance. This value has some limitations since it is derived from the SP survey. If some non-integrated fare system is applied in the future and a RP survey is conducted and compared with these study results, a more clear value of the transfer fare will be derived.
