발전소용 분산제어 시스템의 개발

  • 본 고에서는 분산제어 시스템의 일반적인 요건 및 기능, 시스템 구조에 대하여 정리해 보고, 발전소용 분산제어 시스템으로써 국내 최초의 개발품이 될 KEDIC 시스템의 구성과 기능들을 살펴본 후 선진제품과 대등한 수준 더 나아가 앞서 수준으로 가기위해 노력해야 할 향후 과제들을 설정해 보았다. 기술 대형화 및 종합화 측면에서 분산제어 시스템의 기구 기술, 아날로그 및 디지탈 하드웨어 기술, 현장의 엔지니어링 기술, 프로세스 제어기술, Field Bus 및 LAN(Local Area Network)등의 통신기술, GUI로 대표되는 MMI(Man-Machine Interface) 기술, 기타 소프트웨어적으로 현장 데이타 및 운전 지원 데이타 관리에 필요한 데이타베이스 관리 기술과 실시간 처리기술 등이 통합되어 있다. 따라서 요소기술의 확보 혹은 기술 수준의 향상에 꾸준한 관심을 기울여야 함은 물론이거니와 무엇보다도 요소기술 변화에 대응할 수 있는 시스템 통합기술력 배양에 노력을 기울여야 할것이다.

The Geographical Restructuring of the EU Automobile Production System (EU의 지역적 확대와 자동차 생산체계의 지리적 재구조화)

  • The continuing enlargement, deepening integration of EU and penetration of extra-EU enterprise into EU market are forming a new geographical restructure of the production system. In this paper, I analyse the changing geography of the EU automotive production system. The globalization and regionalisation of production activity intensify a competition among the enterprise. The European automotive production system changes to a platform system and a modular system for a diminution of productive costs, a development of various products and a frequent innovation of products. The European automotive enterprise is restructuring geographically the production functions and products in order to promote efficiency on a new production system, enlarged production space and intensified economic integration. The European automotive industry tends to a spatial specialization and agglomeration according to the locational factors of production functions and products and the locational condition of regions. This intensifies the geographical hierarchic structure of production activity between the core and the periphery.

사출 금형 자동공정계획시스템

  • 다품종소량생산의 특징을 갖고 있는 금형공업에서 컴퓨터통합생산시스템(Computer Integrated Manufacturing System;CIMS)의 실현을 위한 중요한 분야의 하나는 부품설계도면으로부터 최종제품을 생산하는데 필요한 공정계획의 자동화, 즉 컴퓨터를 이용하여 공정계획을 자동적으로 생성하는 자동공정계획시스템(Computer Aided Process Planning;CAPP) 기술의 개발이다. 국내외적으로 CAPP분야의 연구는 컴퓨터 지원에 의한 자동화 기술의 급속한 발전과 더불어 지난 20여년 동안에 기계가공품에 관한 CAPP은 약 150여가지가 개발되었으나, 이는 컴퓨터 지원에 의한 설계의 자동화(Computer Aided Design;CAD)나 컴퓨터 지원에 의한 제조의 자동화(Computer Aided Manufacturing;CAM)분야에 비해 상대적으로 저조한 형편이다. 특히 금형을 대상으로 한 CAPP시스템의 개발은 아직 초기단계에 있기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 사출금형을 대상으로 하여 실용성이 있는 공정설계시스템을 개발함을 목적으로 한다. 일반적으로 공정계획은 "소재로부터 제품을 경제적, 효율적으로 생산하는데 필요한 제조공정의 체계적인 결정"이라고 정의할 수 있다. 공정계획은 제품의 종류와 수량, 재료와 부품의 종류, 보유 생산설비와 제조기술의 수준에 따라 다르나, 공정설계(Process Design)와 작업설계(Operation Design)로 구분할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 공정계획을 광의의 공정설계로 정의하고, 공정설계와 공정계획을 동의어로 통용토록 한다. 기존의 CAPP시스템의 개발에 관한 기본적인 접근방법은 변성형방법(Variant method), 창성형방법(Generative method) 및 자동화방법(Automatic method)이 있다. 이들 CAPP시스템을 개발할 때 사용하는 기법은 크게 5가지- (1) GT(group Technology) 접근기법, (2) Bottom-up 접근기법, (3) Top-down 접근기법, (4) AI와 전문가시스템(Expert System) 접근기법, (5) 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 언어 - 로 분류할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 전문가시스템 기법을 도입해서 사출금형 공정계획전문가의 지식과 경험을 획득하여 지식베이스를 구축하고, 전문가시스템 셀(shell)중 CLIPS를 이용하여 자동공정계획시스템인 Mold CAPP을 개발하였다.PP을 개발하였다.

Effect on the Improvement of Intestinal Function and Constipation of Products Made from Chinese Gooseberry (Kiwi) (참다래(키위)로 만든 제품의 장 기능 및 변비 개선에 미치는 효과)

  • In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of Chinese gooseberry (kiwi)-based products on the improvement of intestinal function and constipation. In this study, 21 participants with no underlying disease and complaining of subjective constipation symptoms were selected. Through a pre-experimental design, the main effects, including the colon stagnation score and colon transit time, were assessed after the consumption of Chinese gooseberry (kiwi)-based products. To evaluate the side effects of this product, a subjective constipation assessment test was performed to analyze the degree of constipation improvement at an individual level. The results for the main effects revealed that the number of constipation groups was statistically significantly decreased, and the colon stagnation score and colon transit time were also reduced. Additionally, the participants' subjective constipation assessment test revealed a significant improvement in both intestinal function and bowel activity before and after the consumption of Chinese gooseberry (kiwi)-based products. Similar to the previously known kelp-, lactobacillus-, and fiber-based products, we showed that Chinese gooseberry (kiwi)-based products exert a significant effect on the improvement of the intestinal function and constipation. Furthermore, the results of this study provide valuable information for the development of healthy food products in the future that can help improve bowel movement. Moreover, Chinese gooseberry (kiwi) used in this study is not a functional food and is easily accessible. However, this study has several limitations as it is based on a pre-experimental design. Therefore, studies on randomized experimental and control groups are needed in the future.

Development of Concurrent Engineering System for Design of Composite Structures (복합재 구조물의 설계를 위한 동시공학 시스템의 개발)

  • This paper explains the development of a concurrent engineering system for the rlesign of composite structures. The concurrent engineering system is developed to meet the demand for the better quality products with lower production cost and time. In this study, to compose the architecture of concurrent engineering system, the commercial and noncommercial programs related to design and analysis of composite structures are surveyed and classified. The concurrent engineering system is including various design modules such as design/analysis of composite structures using CLPT and FEM, buckling and post bucking analysis, thermo-elastic analysis of carbon-carbon composite, and optimum design using expert system and genetic algorithm. For the integration and management of softwares, the concurrent engineering system is realized by Microsoft visual $C++{^\circledR}$ that provide multi-tasking and graphic user interface environment.

  • With a remarkable growth and expansion of Internet, the security issues emerged from intrusions and attacks such as computer viruses, denial of services and hackings to destroy information have been considered as serious threats for Internet and the private networks. To protect networks from those attacks, many vendors have developed various security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control systems. However, managing those systems individually requires too much work and high cost. Thus, in order to manage integrated security management and establish consistent security management for various security products, the policy model of PN-ISMS (Policy Based Integrated Security Management System) has become very important. In this paper, present the hierarchical policy model which explore the refinement of high-level/conceptual policies into a number of more specific policies to form a policy hierarchy. A formal method of policy description was used as the basis of the mode in order to achieve precision and generality. Z-Notation was chosen for this propose. The Z-Notation is mathematical notation for expressing and communicating the specifications of computer programs. Z uses conventional notations of logic and set theory organized into expressions called schemas.

  • The purpose of this study was to propose a functional improvement solution of integrated control board for safe driving of Smart electric wheelchair for a single person. In the case of existing electric wheelchair products in Korea and elsewhere, safety-related functions or devices are not included in many cases. Therefore, the incidence of electric wheelchair-related accidents is continuously increasing in the current situation in which the elderly and the disabled people have been continuously increased. However, currently only high and middle-priced products are equipped with basic safety devices in electric wheelchairs, so low-priced products require safety related functions. Therefore, sensing obstacles that the user can not recognize while moving an electric wheelchair and detecting automatically the terrain change to control the motor by developing a smart control platform. This provides an integrated control board that can be applied to various electric wheelchairs for more stable driving.

A Study on the Ergonomic features and Their Improvements in Pen Design (필기구 디자인의 인간공학적 제요소와 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Writing instruments or pens have many features not commonly found in other products in terms of their structure and characteristics of use. That is, different pens are usually composed of almost identical parts and/or structure. The fact they work always grabbed in hands considered, the ergonomic design of pens is essential. Reports indicate consumers evaluate pens in writing comfort above all other factors when they select pens. Among various factors related to writing comfort, it shouldspecifically be the ergonomic improvements that design can effectively contribute to. Studies on the pen-grabbing comfort or on approaches based on the understanding of human-work relationships generally lack when compared with fashion-conscious aesthetic approaches to pen design. This paper, therefore, aims to reestablish the ergonomic design criteria including the necessities of specifications required to provide indispensable data for the pen design processes. Consequently, it should produce basic set of information for systematic approach to pen design and development, which is commonly called'concurrent engineering'. Also a cost-effective solution for product diversification strategy could be attributed to a modular system database based on the result of this attempt.

Virtual Test Framework for Smith Squat Exercise Based on Integrated Product-Human Model (제품과 인체의 통합 모델을 바탕으로 한 스미스 스쿼트 운동의 가상 시험 프레임워크)

  • The barbell squat is a fundamental physical exercise for strengthening the lower body and core muscles. It is an integral part of training and conditioning programs in sports, rehabilitation, and fitness. In this paper, we proposed a virtual test framework for squat exercises using a Smith machine to simulate joint torques and muscle forces, based on an integrated product-human model and motion synthesis algorithms. We built a muscular skeletal human model with boundary conditions modeling the interactions between the human body and a machine or the ground. To validate the model, EMG, external forces, and squat motions were captured through physical experiments by varying the foot position. A regression-based motion synthesis algorithm was developed based on the captured squat motions to generate a new motion for a given foot position. The proposed approach is expected to reduce the need for physical experiments in the development of training programs.

  • 최근 들어 소프트웨어의 테스트에 대한 필요성이 증가함에 따라 소프트웨어 테스트 방법에 대한 연구가 활발해지고 있으며 이를 적용한 제품들도 다양한 분야에서 개발되고 있다. 또한 UML과 같은 모델 기반의 언어가 등장함에 따라 소프트웨어의 재사용성 등을 높일 수있는 설계가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 테스트가 가능한 SDINS/GPS 통합 항법 소프트웨어 구조를 UML 모델로 제시하며, 제시한 모델에 대한 테스트 절차를 기술한다. 본 논문의 결과를 이용하여 SDINS/GPS 통합 항법 소프트웨어를 설계하면 소프트웨어를 다른 하드웨어로 이식하는 것과 다른 센서 측정치를 처리하기 위한 소프트웨어 확장이 용이하다.
