The Effects of Consultant's Competency and Consultation Process on the Consulting Performance: The Mediating Role of Client's Involvement and Utilizing Willingness (컨설턴트역량과 수행과정이 컨설팅성과에 미치는 영향: 수진기업의 참여수준과 활용의지의 매개효과)

  • This paper aims to examine the mediating effects of client involvement and client utilizing willingness among consultant competency, consultation process and consulting performance. To accomplish the purpose, the analysis was conducted with 446 SMEs which had a consulting experience. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS and AMOS for Windows. This study used several statistical techniques such as descriptive analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, feasibility analysis, Sobel test and the significance test of indirect effects. All studied factors presented meaningful results(+) except the path of consultant competency and client involvement. The client utilizing willingness presented the mediating role between consultation process and consulting performance. Consequently, it said that consultation process with client utilizing willingness was more important than consultant competency itself.

  • This research studied that the effect of consulting local SMEs focusing on the effective factors related to quality of theoretical study and the previous studies according to research model and research hypotheses. Also, in this empirical analysis, analyzed the consulting performance that distinguish such as consulting procedures quality, consulting adaptation, consultant emotional intelligence and efforts factors. Second, in relationship with consulting adaptation and performance, statistically significant relationship showed weak. Finally, the quality of the consultant engagement and emotional intelligence was analyzed high significance. Therefore, this study further accounting information systems consultant at consultant emotional intelligence factors can expect a useful guidelines.

Although consulting firms have been studying various prior research papers in view of the fact that there are many cases where they proceed with the sales strategy of repurchasing in mind, most of them deal with research on consulting performance on the supplier side, The purpose of this study is to investigate whether a company has a high level of participation in consulting in the event of a situation or situation and consequently influences the intention to purchase consulting. In order to find out whether they are visible, the reliability of the measured values and the fit of the measurement model by CFA were obtained through the exploratory factor analysis. The results were as follows: The results of this study are as follows. As a result of the study, it is necessary for the consultant to improve the participation of the consulting company and the understanding of the consulting in order to increase the intention of the consulting repurchase intention. Since the consultant shows the result in an empirical way, the consulting company participates in the role and process The results of this study are as follows. First, it is suggested that firms should be very careful about the participation and consulting understanding because they affect the repurchase intention of consulting firms.

  • 기업 컨설팅은 조직의 기술 및 경영에 대한 문제점을 분석하고, 대책을 연구해 경영기법이나 운영에 관한 전문적인 자문활동을 수행하는 것이다. 그러나 특히 경영능력과 경험이 부족한 중소기업에게는 그 필요성이 크게 대두되고 있으나 업무 생산성 및 품질에 대한 의식이 미흡하고, 조직 비활성화가 상존하는 경우가 많다. 또한 기업 내부의 문제점 발견 및 발전방향 등에 대한 전략적 수립이 대표자의 주관적 입장에만 의존하는 실정으로 급변하는 경영환경에 적응하여 성공으로 이루어지기 위해서는 관련 외부 전문가의 참여가 필요시되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 정보화에 관한 컨설팅 서비스품질의 구성요인으로 크게 서비스 제공과정의 과정품질, 결과품질, 서비스 비용으로 대별하여 분석 비교하였으며, 또한 서비스품질에 미치는 영향에 차이가 있는지를 실증적으로 증명하고자 하였다. 결과적으로 서비스 품질이 고객만족에 미치는 영향 및 재이용의도와 구전의도와의 관계를 밝힘으로서, 서비스 품질이 기업의 수익성에 크게 기여하는 중요한 요소임을 제시하고자 한다.

Curriculum Development for Agribusiness Management Consulting Competency of Agricultural Educator (농업인교육자의 농기업경영컨설팅능력 개발을 위한 교육과정 개발)

  • This study was aimed to find the agribusiness management consulting competency for agricultural educator, to find the teaching method and evaluation criteria for each competency group, and to recommend the subjects, contents of each subject, instruction method and evaluation criteria of each subject. Through the literature review, web searching of agricultural consulting company and 17 experts members' reviews as delphi methods, agribusiness management consulting competency for agricultural educator was found of 64 items in 90 items. After educability reviews, it was selected of 45 item in 64 items for necessary and educable competency. And it was selected to good teaching method and evaluation criteria in each competency groups. Finally, eight subjects, major contents of each subject, instructional method and evaluation criteria in each subject were recommended for agribusiness management competency, and some recommendations were presented.

Effect of Management Commitment on Perceived Consulting Quality - Focusing on Government Supported Convergence Consulting - (경영자몰입이 컨설팅품질 지각에 미치는 영향 - 정부지원 융복합컨설팅을 중심으로 -)

  • This study was carried out to verify management commitment on perceived consulting quality in the government-supported convergence consulting service on SMEs. A survey was conducted and analyzed on SMEs which went through government-supported consulting, with the following results of the study. First, management commitment was found to have positive effect on the perceived consultant perform quality. Second, management commitment was found to have positive effect on the perceived government support quality. Third, management commitment was found to have no effect on the perceived consulting results quality. Fourth, perceived consultant perform quality was found to have positive effect on the perceived consulting results quality. Fifth, perceived government support quality was found to have positive effect on the perceived consulting results quality. Suggestions and significance of this study are as follows: the result of this study suggests a need to increase institutional support for enhancing the management commitment as well as the capability of consultants and support of government. It also has significance in presenting an effective and efficient direction of policy on consulting support project for SMEs.

A Comparative Study on Educational Consultancy in Korea and United Kingdom (한국과 영국에서의 교육컨설팅 비교 연구)

  • In Korea school-based management has been introduced for upgrading the quality of education from mid 1990's. Due to the change schools began to seek educational consulting services. However, educational consultancy still lies in the rudimentary stage. Recognizing the problems, it compares educational consultancy between Korea and United Kingdom. The study utilizes diverse methods such as literature review, interviews, document analysis. It covered the issues such as history and background, consultants, clients, tasks and processes, and support system for consultancy in both countries. The major findings are as follows. First, they had similar origin and motive for educational consultancy, but differences in the government's approach. Second, educational consultants in both countries have similar backgrounds and qualifications. But there are big differences in consulting firms and agencies. Third, there are also big differences in terms of clients. Fourth, there are differences in terms of consultancy tasks, but similar in consultancy process. Fifth, there are also big differences in service fees and incentives. However, there are similar problems in terms of consultancy training program and professional association of educational consultants. Based upon the findings it could draw implications such as providing more financial resources for Korean schools to purchase consultancy services.

  • This study aims to analyze school management consultants' competency from the perspective of professional and prospective consultants and to draw implications for their competency building and work. To achieve the purpose of this study, an importance survey and a retention survey of school management consultants' competency were performed. The main results are as follows: school management consultants' key competencies are concept, background and principle of school management consulting, process and method of school management consulting, contents of school management, listening and empathy, communication, problem solving, teamwork and collaboration, interpersonal skills, authenticity, commitment. Professional and prospective consultants' perception of school management consultants' competency were different, and importance and retention of prospective consultants' competency changed through the consulting experience. It is significant that the result of this study can be reflected in school management consultants' training and qualification and conform the 'learning' principle of school management consulting.

  • This study is a study on the different cognitive systems and different knowledge systems of members participating in complex and diverse consulting projects, and it is a study on team collaboration that affects the team performance of the project. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating effects of team shared cognition, team transactive memory, team knowledge integration, and team efficacy in the cognitive interaction process of a consulting project. This study established a research model and research hypothesis based on previous studies. Data were collected from consultants who actually participated in the consulting project. To empirically analyze the research hypothesis, demographic analysis, validity and reliability analysis, structural model analysis for hypothesis verification, and mediating effect analysis using phantom variables were performed. As a result of the study, in order to increase team performance, it is necessary to improve team shared cognition and team transactive memory, which are cognitive systems, and team knowledge integration, which is a knowledge system, must also be improved. Therefore, there is a need for a sense of team efficacy that integrates disparate cognitive and knowledge systems, trusts each other's expertise, and enables successful team work. In addition, future studies on sub-factors of cognitive processes are needed.

The Mediating Effect of Knowledge Sharing Activity on the Effect of Trust between Consultants on Consulting Satisfaction in the Convergence era (융·복합시대에 컨설턴트 간 신뢰가 지식공유 활동을 매개로 컨설팅 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to verify the mediating effect of knowledge sharing activity on the effect of trust between consultants on consulting satisfaction during consulting collaboration process. Regression analysis was performed using SPSS 23 based on the survey data. The results showed that trust between consultants had significant effects on knowledge sharing and on consulting satisfaction. Knowledge sharing activities partially mediated the effects of trust between consultants on consulting satisfaction. Further research is required to find out the various factors that are needed to further enhance competence and knowledge sharing for consultants in order to facilitate collaborative work in a rapid change of management environment.
