A Study on the Wind Turbine Blade Optimization and Pitch Control Using the Hybrid Genetic Algorithm (혼합형 유전 알고리즘을 이용한 풍력발전기용 블레이드 최적설계 및 피치제어에 관한 연구)

  • This paper introduced a new hybrid genetic algorithm, verified its performance, and applied it to the optimization of blade design and pitch control for 30kW pitch-controlled variable-speed horizontal-axis wind turbine system to determine the optimum blade chord and twist distributions that maximize the energy production for a given Weibull wind distribution and the optimum blade pitch angles that maintain constant power output.

  • The real time optimal control algorithm of the DDC controller for chilled water and supply air temperature set-point of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems has been researched for minimization of the total power which is consumed by the chiller, chilled water pump and air handing unit fan. The study has been done by using TRNSYS program in order to analyze the central cooling system in terms of the environmental variables such as indoor cooling lead and wet-bulb temperature. This optimal control alogorithm saves more energy and is suitable for real time on-line control in comparison with conventional method.

  • In the automatic operation of an urban rail vehicle, a conventional PID control algorithm is applied to run the vehicle between stations within time limit and jerk limit. But the energy consumption in the automatic operation is much higher than in the manual operation. In this study, the optimal control algorithm for automatic operation is proposed to minimize energy consumption, which satisfies automatic operation for the urban rail vehicle, compared with the conventional PID control algorithm.

  • This paper presents the extended interaction prediction method for large scale discrete-time systems with interconnected state and control. Feedback gain is obtained from decentralized calculation without solving Riccati equation. Hence, Computer storage and calculation time is reduced.

  • 본 논문에서는 엔진, 발전기, 견인 전동기, 배터리, 전력 변환기로 구성된 직렬형 하이브리드 전기 자동차의 최적 효율 운전 및 통합 전력제어에 관해 논의한다. 제안된 시스템의 엔진은 최적 효율 운전을 위해 부하에 따라 가변속(Variable Speed) 운전되며, 속도를 가변하여도 필요한 전력을 순시적으로 제어할 수 있다. 또한 자동차가 요구하는 다양하고 순시적인 전력의 변동에 대응할 뿐만 아니라 엔진의 연료 효율 및 배터리의 수명을 고려하여 엔진과 배터리의 전력을 적절히 분배하여 공급할 수 있는 통합 전력제어 방법에 관해서도 논의한다. 제안된 통합 전력제어 알고리즘의 유용성은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.
