The Effects of a Cosmetology Education for Reemployment Women on Career Preparation Behavior (미용교육이 재취업여성의 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The object of this study is the effects of a cosmetology education for career discontinuity women who receive a cosmetology education for reemployment on career preparation behavior, so I analyzed reemployment characteristics, cosmetology education satisfaction, and career preparation behavior for 300 women in thirties to fifties who receive a cosmetology education for reemployment. Reemployment women's reemployment characteristics are various according to age, level of education, major field, training period, and educational institution, and sub factors of cosmetology education satisfaction affects meaningfully to improve career preparation behavior. Especially, educational contents and consultation about getting a job and career casts a long shadow relatively to career preparation behavior, so educational contents and consultation service about getting a job and career are important to make reemployment rate through career preparation behavior high. Based on such factors, the study will fulfill students' demand in cosmetology educational institutions, will highlight the importance of an efficient cosmetology education for developing industrial settings once more, and will offer base line data of consultation service about getting a job and career that can make satisfaction and credibility of educational institutions high, so will help the development of a cosmetology education and career discontinuity women's reemployment.

Research on the change of consciousness of the gifted students in science (과학 영재의 진로의식 변화 연구(1996년 - 2003년))

  • The purpose of this study is to look into Various educational supports for the gifted students in science to decide proper career planning through Research of Career Consciousness of the Gifted Students in Science. The subject of this study is new students entered into KAIST from the year of 1996 to 2003. They are approximately 500 students yearly and 3,613 totally and more than 90% of students have answered. The Questions are largely 3 items. One is 5 Q's of entering universities, second is 2 Q's of life plans in the university and the last is 2 Q's of career plans after graduation. As a result, the gifted students in science tend to find out and develop their interest and aptitude early and decide their future much earlier than other students. Nevertheless the gifted students in science worry about their future a lot as well. However they ask their problems to friends, seniors, and parents rather than teachers, professional consultants in general it could say no sufficient systematic guidance and consulting available for them. So it does require that some subjects such as guidance for career planning should be included in university curriculum and furthermore not only schooling but also the systematic structure of persistent consulting about gifted student's general life should be planned as well.

The Influence of Parent's Accomplishment Pressure and Career Guidance on Children's Career Development (부모의 성취압력 및 진로지도가 아동의 진로발달에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of parent's accomplishment pressure and career guidance on children's career development. The subjects in this study were 59 six-graders in an elementary school. Added to this, this study was to understand the course of elementary school children's career development. For the study, research questions on influence of parent's accomplishment pressure and career guidance on children's career development were set up. The study showed three findings. First, there was significant correlations between parent's accomplishment pressure, and career guidance and children's career development. Parent's accomplishment pressure showed a positive correlation with career development and career guidance had a significant correlation with children's career development. The sub factors of career guidance, except for emotional support, were also significantly correlated with the sub factors of children's career development. Second, Parent's accomplishment pressure didn't show significant effect on fitness of career choice, sex-prejudice and pride, but showed significant effects on total career development, career directivity, career comprehension, self-comprehension and self- control. Third, parent's career guidance showed additional impact on children's career development. But emotional support, which is the sub-fact of career guidance, had no correlation with career development.

A Study on the Effect of Career Barriers Perceived by Women at Maritime University on the Career Decision Level (해사대학 여학생들이 인식한 진로장벽이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The shipping and port industries have traditionally been male-centered, and although the scope of entry for female mariners is increasing, the proportion of female workers is still low. However, research on career barriers and career decision levels in this industry has not yet been conducted. This study can explain the dif iculties in career development experienced by women in this industry and comprehensively explain the socio-cultural context or environmental factors to which the individual belongs in order to improve it. The purpose of this study was to derive career barrier factors and investigate how they affect career decision levels among female students enrolled in M University's Maritime College. The career barriers perceived by female students at Maritime College were derived from gender discrimination (GD), career undecided and lack of preparation (IOU), work-family conflict (WFC), lack of individual characteristics (LPQ), and lower-than-expected job prospects (LOE). As a result of analyzing how the derived career barrier factors af ect the career decision level, it was found that IOU had a significant negative effect on the career decision level. GD, WFC, LPQ, and LOE did not have a significant effect on career decision level. The study conclusions can be used as important data for career guidance and counseling for female maritime college women who want to overcome career barriers and improve their career decision-making levels.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지속적인 영재학생 관리를 위해 학생 관리 시스템의 구축 방향을 제시함으로써 영재교육 수혜 경험에 대한 정보들의 누적이 학생들의 진로 진학이나 자아실현을 하기까지 도움을 제공할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 학생 관리시스템 구축에 대한 선행 연구를 분석하였으며 분석 결과 효율적인 교육과정 운영을 중심으로 학생의 인적 사항을 관리하거나 그 기관 내에서 학생을 재 선발하고, 학부모와 상담, 영재교육에 대한 연구 자료로 활용하는 데 그치고 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 학생 관리 시스템의 구축 방향으로 전국 영재교육기관에 공통적으로 적용 관리할 수 있는 중앙 센터의 마련, 영재교육기관 간의 시스템 연계, 학생 중심의 시스템 구축을 통한 자아실현 및 진로 진학에 도움 제공, 인성 측면을 반영할 수 있는 시스템 구축, 구체적인 진로 상담 작성이 가능한 항목 마련, 교육과정 반영, 영재교육 보조교사나 전담교사 파견을 통한 철저한 학생 관리를 제시하였다.

Exploration of the Dance Career Intervention by AHP Method: Focusing on Vocational Guidance, Career Education and Career Counseling (AHP분석을 활용한 무용진로개입의 체계적 접근 방안 : 직업지도, 진로교육 및 상담을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to draw a systematic access method of career intervention for dance majors. This study conducted Delphi survey and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). As a result of study, 16 elements of career intervention were produced in total 4 areas. Results show that vocational guidance puts emphasis on the understanding of the various vocations, career education on the career planning and goal, career counseling on the macro-narrative to the life and career intervention network on the dance job fair and workshop. In the complex weight of all factors, ratings of weight show that dance vocation guidance and career education are demanded significantly. Results show that expansion of career alternatives, application of diversified dance career development road map to the curriculum, development of test tool and outcome standard, dance educators' systematic career intervention education and systematization of network for career support were suggested as measures for dance career intervention. This study discussed about dynamic reality and systematic access method for dance majors based on theories of Holland(1997), Super(1990), and Savickas(2005).

The Development and the Effectiveness of a Career Group Counseling Program for Career Maturity, Career-Identity, and Career-Decision Self-Efficacy in High School Students (청소년의 진로성숙도와 진로정체감 및 진로결정 자기효능감 증진을 위한 진로 집단상담 프로그램의 개발과 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a Career Group Counseling Program to increase the career maturity, career-identity and career-decision self-efficacy of high school students, and to examine the effectiveness of such a program. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the program thus developed, an experimental group which was exposed to the program and a control group without exposure to the program were compared. The program was administered over eight weekly sessions, each session lasting ninety minutes. The subjects in this study consisted of twenty four students. The experimental group and a control group were organized with twelve students in each. For the purpose of data processing, SPSS 16.0 was used to analyze the statistical results. The Career Maturity Scale, the Identity Scale, and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale were used in a pre-test, post-test, and follow-up test. The findings of this study were as follows : The treatment group exhibited a significant statistically increasing degree of career maturity, career-identity and career-decision self-efficacy levels in comparison to the control group. The results of the study indicated the effectiveness of this newly developed Career Group Counseling Program on increasing career maturity, career-identity and career-decision self-efficacy levels.

성격 5 요인 조절효과를 통한 창업가정신이 중학생의 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향

  • 이 연구의 목적은 성격 5 요인(외향성, 친화성, 성실성, 신경증, 지적 개방성) 조절효과를 통한 창업가정신이 중학생의 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 효율적인 창업가정신 교육과 진로교육 방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위해 대전에 있는 중학생 500명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 얻어진 연구 결과를 분석하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 창업가정신(혁신 진취성, 위험감수성)이 높을수록 중학생의 진로태도 및 진로탐색능력은 높아지나, 진로준비행동에 있어서는 창업가정신의 하위요소 중 혁신 진취성만 진로준비행동에 유의한 영향을 준다. 둘째, 성격 5 요인은 창업가정신과 중학생의 진로성숙도의 하위요소인 진로태도에만 유의한 조절영향을 준다. 따라서 성격 5 요인에 따라 창업가정신을 함양할 수 있는 다양한 진로교육 프로그램을 제시하고, 개인의 성격특성 차이를 고려하여 지도한다면 중학생의 진로성숙도가 높아질 것으로 생각된다. 또한 현재 중학생의 진로성숙도를 키우기 위한 프로그램의 일환으로 자유학기제가 전면 실시되어 획일적인 프로그램을 운영하는 학교가 많은데 성격 5 요인에 따라 창업가정신을 함양할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 운영한다면 진로상담 뿐만 아니라 자유학기제 프로그램이 질적으로나 양적으로나 수준이 높아질 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

  • 정보화 시대를 맞이하여 교육의 중요성이 커지면서 교사의 주 업무인 교과 업무 외에 다른 업무가 증가하고 있다. 그 중 하나인 학생 상담은 과거의 가정방문 기간까지 사라져 교사들이 큰 어려움을 느끼는 것 중 하나이며, 학생의 학교 상담에 대한 신뢰도와 참여율이 낮아서 신뢰도와 참여율을 높이는 방안이 요구되고 있다. 기존에 연구 되던 상담시스템의 개발은 거의 모든 부분이 진학이나 진로 상담 위주로 개발되어 왔으며, 정작 중요한 학생의 생활 상담에 대한 연구는 제대로 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구는 시간과 여건의 부족으로 학생에 대하여 문제아 학생이나 특수 학생의 상담위주로만 행해지던 생활 상담의 혜택을 일반 학생들에게도 줄 수 있고, 교사의 시간적인 효율성을 높이며 학생의 상담에 대한 부담감등의 해소와 학생에 다양한 정보 활용 등 상담 도우미 시스템의 요구사항, 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논한다.

The effect of career barrier and major satisfaction on the career preparation behavior in the group of security major college students (경호학전공대학생의 진로장벽과 전공만족도가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to look into impacts of career barriers and college major satisfactions on career preparation behaviors of Security major college students. The subjects of this study were collected among 200 security major students attending universities in Choungnam and Junnam Provinces, and 170 out of 200 were analyzed. Based on collected data, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and one-way ANOVA were conducted using SPSS 18.0. According to the result, career barriers showed negative correlations on career preparation behaviors, and self-concept clarity deficiency showed significant impact on it. College major satisfactions showed positive correlations, and major satisfaction showed significant impact on it. Also result shows college junior and senior students experience less career barriers compare to freshman and sophomore students, and college junior and senior students were more satisfied on the college major satisfactions as well. The study has found important implications of impacts of career barriers and college major satisfaction on career preparation behaviors. In long term, the finding of the study seem to provide useful insights for security major students and Human Resource Personnel to execute the process of career preparations and related counseling effectively.
