Resonant Frequency in Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna on Uniaxial Substrates with Airgap (공기 갭을 갖는 일축성 매질 위의 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나의 공진 주파수)

  • 공기 갭을 갖는 일축성 기판위에 마이크로 패치 안테나의 공진 주파수가 full-wave approach와 모멘트 계산법을 이용하여 연구되었다. 일축성 매질내의 구성관계식을 통하여 제안된 구조에서의 파수영역 다이애딕 그린 함수를 유도하였으며 이 결과로부터 전계 적분 방정식을 수식화하였다. 갤러킨 모멘트법을 사용하여 전계 적분 방정식을 이산화 하였으며 기저함수의 선택은 수치 해석적 수렴을 고려하여 패치 위의 실제 전류밀도와 가장 유사한 형태인 정현적 기저함수를 선택하였다. 전사모의 실험 결과의 타당성을 검증하기 위해서 기존의 결과와 비교하여 일치된 결과를 얻었다. 공기 갭의 두께와 패치 길이, 이방성 비의 변화에 따른 공진 주파수가 제시되고 분석되었다.

  • It applied the linear tapped delay line structure to the least mean square algorithm and the recursive least square algorithm it investigated the mean square error characteristics of compensation algorithm. The purpose of this paper is to propose multi-tap update algorithm, which is superior to compensation capacity of data, and then compare and analyze it from the perspective of convergence characteristics at time invariant transmission channel and frequency selective fading channel.

Selective Extraction of a Single Optical Frequency Component from an Optical Frequency Comb (광 주파수 빗으로부터 단일 광 주파수 성분의 선택적 추출)

  • Mode-locked pulse lasers have a temporal periodicity up over a short period of time. However, in the time-frequency domain, a pulsed laser with temporal periodicity is described as an optical frequency comb with constant frequency spacing. Each frequency component of the optical frequency comb in the frequency domain is then a continuous-wave (CW) laser with hundreds of thousands of single-frequency-component CW lasers in the time domain. This optical frequency comb was developed approximately 20 years ago, enabling the development of the world's most precise atomic clocks and precise transmission of highly stable optical frequency references. In this review, research on the selective extraction of the single-frequency components of optical frequency combs and the control of the frequency components of optical combs is introduced. By presenting the concepts and principles of these optical frequency combs in a tutorial format, we hope to help readers understand the properties of light in the time-frequency domain and develop various applications using optical frequency combs.

  • This paper presents a new adaptive relay selection scheme for a regenerative orthogonal frequency division multiplexing access(OFDMA) relay network with fairness constrains. In the Proposed scheme, we select the best M relays out of a set of K potential relays to maximize system capacity. Among these selected relays, subcarriers are reallocated to satisfy fairness constraints as well as to minimize the degradation of the system performance. Afterwards, power allocation is performed for each subcarrier based on the water-filling method to enhance the performance improvement. By using the trade-off relationship between the system capacity and the fairness, the modified version of proposed scheme is also investigated.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the electromagnetic characteristics of the spherical frequency selective surface with different arrangement of crossed dipole slot elements for reducing the RCS(radar cross section). The three dimensional MOM(method of moment) with RWG basis is used to analyze the proposed structure. To reduce the simulation time, we applied the BiCGSTab(Biconjugate Gradient Stabilized) algorithm as an iterative method and presented the comparison results with Mie's theoretical results for PEC sphere to show the validity of this paper. From the simulation results, the different arrangement of elements array showed the difference RCS that cannot be negligible. The arrangement method of element in frequency selective surface will be one of variables for the design of curved frequency selective structures.

  • In this paper, Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) is applied to the design of the Frequency Selective Surface(FSS) and residual stresses of hybrid radome is predicted. An equivalent circuit model with Square Loops arrays was derived and then PSO was applied for acquiring the optimized geometrical parameters with proper resonant frequency. Residual stresses occur in the FSS embedded composite structures after cocuring and have a great influence on the strength of the FSS embedded composite structures. They also effect transmission quality because of delamination. Therefore, the thermal residual stresses of FSS embedded composite structures were analyzed using finite element analysis with considering the effects of FSS pattern, and composite stacking sequence.

  • In this paper a CI(carrier interferometry) chip waveform shaping scheme which Is made up of orthogonal carriers equally spaced in frequency, and used to introduce frequency diversity benefits into DS-CDMA, is considered. A new communication scheme referred to as CI/DS-CDMA using CI chip shaping, is introduced. Through the performance evaluation of CI/DS-CDMA systems in a typical frequency selective fading channel environment, it is shown that the frequency diversity benefits of this system results in significant performance enhancements relative to traditional DS-COMA with RAKE receivers using the path diversity.

  • We have been derived theoretically the SER's and CLP's of Wireless ATM (WATM) cells employing an OFDM/16QAM modulation scheme in wireless channel modeled as a frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel. The amount of the performance improvement of WATM- OFDM/16QAM systems adopting various coding techniques has been evaluated. In frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel, considering CLP : $10^{-3}$ as a criterion, it is observed that the performance improvement of about 14 dB is obtained in terms of $E_b/N_o$ by employing an OFDM scheme. It is also confirmed that convolutional coding technique gives better performance than the other coding techniques. Especially, when the convolutional codes are adopted to WATM-OFDM/16QAM systems, voice transmission services are sufficiently available with 5 dB of $E_b/N_o$.

  • 본 논문에서는 two-ray 시간선택성 레일레이 페이딩 채널상에서 DPSK 신호를 차동검출 (differential detection)할 때 심볼에러율을 분석한다. 현재까지 수행된 많은 연구는 주파수 선택성 페이딩 채널 및 단일 경로 시간선택성 페이딩 채널을 대상으로 하였고, 다경로 시간선택성 페이딩 채널을 대상으로 한 예는 극히 드물다. 또한 다경로 시간선택성 페이딩 채널을 가장 간단히 모델링 할 수 있는 two-ray 페이딩 채널에 대한 연구도 지금까지 수행된 예가 극히 적다. 본 논문에서는 심볼열의 형태에 따라 수신신호들간의 관계를 세가지 그룹으로 나눈 후 각각의 경우에 대하여 위상 옵셋값을 계산하는 방식을 취하였다. 이와 같이 계산된 위상옵셋과 신호대 잡음비를 인자로 하여 차동검출된 신호가 가지는 위상의 확률밀도 함수를 계산하고 이 함수를 이용하여 심볼에러율을 계산하였다. 결과로부터 two-ray 페이딩 채널의 특성을 결정짓는 지연시간과 지연신호의 전력이 증가함에 따라 위상 옵셋값 및 에러율이 모두 증가하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • In order for thermal degradationIn, excore nuclear flux monitoring system, as a monitoring and signal processing methodology of reactor power, monitors neutron pulses generated during nuclear fission as frequency status, and converts them into DC voltage, and then log values resultantly. The methods realy applied in the nuclear power plant are to construct combination of counters and flip-flops, or diodes and capacitors up to now. These methodes are reliable for relative high frequencies, while not credible for reasonable low frequencies or extreme low values. Therefore, we developed the circuit that converts frequencies into DC voltages, into and into log DC values in the wide range from low Hz to several hundred high kHz. We proved their validities through testing them using real data used in nuclear power plant and analyzed their results. And, these methods will be used to measure the neutron level of excore nuclear flux monitoring system in nuclear power plant.
