Effects on Job Satisfactions by an emotional Intelligence and Conflict-relations of Social Workers in a Long-term care Facilities : focused on the moderating effects of communications (노인요양시설 종사자의 감성지능과 갈등관계가 직무만족에 미치는 영향 : 소통의 조절효과 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to demonstrate moderating effect of communications on job satisfactions by an emotional intelligence and conflict-relations of employees and to investigate the influence on job satisfactions by an emotional intelligence and conflict-relations of employees in a long-term care facilities. The results were analyzed from the final responses of 379 employees who are working in a long-term care facilities in Gyeong-Gi Province by SPSS 18.0. The method used in this study were factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, hierarchical regression analysis, moderated regression analysis. The results of this study are as in the following. First, these consequences showed that an emotional intelligence is positively related with job satisfaction among others' emotional appraisal, use of emotion, regulation of emotion and self emotional appraisal. Second, these results are observed that the conflicts of client's protector and superior is negatively related with job satisfaction. Third, these data are convinced that the communications have a partial effects among conflict, relationship and compensation.

Effects of Emotional Leadership on Turnover Intention of the Employees in Human Service Organizations: Mediating Effect of Job Satisfaction and Multi-group Analysis according to Employment Type of Chief Executives (휴먼서비스조직의 감성리더십이 종사자의 이직의도에 미치는 영향 : 직무만족의 매개효과와 최고관리자의 근무형태별 다집단분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of job satisfaction of human service employees on emotional leadership-turnover intention relationship. Additionally, this study examines chief executive's employment type differences on results of the structural relationship. To examine them, employees from 56 local healthy family support centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were surveyed and 295 of them were finally analyzed. The methodology adopted in this study is the structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, emotional leadership of supervisor has a significant influence on the job satisfaction. Secondly, it was found that emotional leadership and job satisfaction have a significantly negative effect on turnover intention. Thirdly, job satisfaction works as a mediator between the emotional leadership and turnover intention. Finally, it was confirmed that emotional leadership is a signifiant factor for job satisfaction, and that the paths vary with job satisfaction according to employment type of chief executives. Based on the above findings, theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

  • The analytical result indicates that their sociological variables including education background, age and marital status, and job satisfaction factors including employment term, job title, compensation, organization, promotion, colleague, job transfer have a significant impact on the quality of their life. This means that their job satisfaction affects the quality of life. In other words, it is necessary to create an environment which can offset their complaints about job environment and conditions and furthermore, generate a sense of pride and a rewarding experience. The study suggests transparent, fair HR system and continuous training and management in consideration of employees' qualification, experience and interest to boost a sense of pride and social recognition and increase the level of job satisfaction as a result. In line with this approach, their dedication to bringing positive changes in local communities is also essential.

A Study on the Job Satisfaction and Self-esteem of Dental Personnels (치과종사자들의 직무만족도와 자아존중감에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of job satisfaction and self-esteem of dental hygienists and nurse's aides. Data were obtained from 327 dental hygienists and nurse's aides who were working at dental clinics, hospitals located in Seoul city. The results, derived from using the SPSS 10.0, were as follows: (1) The level of job satisfaction was 3.02 point, the level of self-esteem was 3.41 point. (2) Service organization and types of occupation have influenced meaningfully on job satisfaction. Hospitals(3.14) are higher than dental clinics(3.0), dental hygienists(3.14) are higher than nurse's aides(2.92). (3) Service organization and types of occupation have influenced meaningfully on self-esteem. Hospitals(3.55) are higher than dental clinics(3.39), dental hygienists(3.52) are higher than nurse's aides(3.31). (4) The correlation between job satisfaction and self-esteem of dentistry employee showed statistically significant correlation.

Influences of Affectivity and Organizational Commitment on Job Satisfaction and Work Performance of Information Security Professionals (정보보안 종사자의 정서성과 조직몰입이 직무만족 및 업무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study empirically examined relationship among affectivity(positive affectivity vs. negative affectivity) and organizational commitment on job satisfaction and work performance of information security professionals. To this end, we conducted a questionnaire survey on 174 information security professionals and analyzed the collected data using structural equation modeling (SEM). It was found that positive affectivity had a positive influences on organizational committment. But negative affectivity was not significantly related to organizational committment. In addition, organizational committment had a positive relationship with job satisfaction and work performance. The results of the empirical study are meaningful to understand the effects of the positive affective aspect of information security professionals on job satisfaction and work performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate whether self-leadership affects organizational commitment through job satisfaction of employees working in domestic mold-related companies. Questionnaires were collected online for a period of three months from employees working in domestic mold-related companies., A total of 209 questionnaires were used for the final analysis, and the questionnaires were composed of self-leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. In order to improve the early turnover problem and job competence of employees working in domestic mold-related companies, the effect of self-leadership on organizational commitment and job satisfaction and the effect of self-leadership on organizational commitment through job satisfaction were verified. As a result of the verification, it was proved that self-leadership had a significant effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction, and job satisfaction had a complete mediating effect between self-leadership and organizational commitment.,This proved that the stronger the self-leadership and the higher the job satisfaction, the greater the impact on organizational commitment, thus laying the foundation for self-leadership education for mold-related workers in companies and associations.

  • 21세기의 두드러진 특징 중 하나는 조직의 환경변화가 끊임없이 매우 불규칙적으로 일어나고 있으며, 그 변화 속도가 가속화되고 있는 것이다. 이로 인한 극도의 불확실성은 치열한 생존경쟁에 대응하며 지속적 발전을 추구하기 위해 각 조직 구성원의 적절한 활용과 중요성이 크게 대두되게 됐는데 이와 관련된 패러다임이 임파워먼트이다. 특히 일선 현장에서 근무하는 사회복지종사자는 사회복지의 근본 목적 달성을 위해 그들의 업무를 어떻게 수행할 것인가에 대하여 스스로 파악할 필요성이 강하게 대두되며, 자신의 능력을 지속적으로 개발해야 할 필요성이 있다. 이러한 사회복지종사자의 임파워먼트는 결국 직무만족에 큰 영향을 미칠 것이며, 이는 궁극적으로 사회복지의 실천적 과제 달성을 가능하게 될 것이다. 이 연구의 목적은 사회복지종사자가 임파워먼트 할 수 있게 함으로써, 그에 따른 직무만족을 향상시킬 수 있는 이론적 배경을 제시하는 것이다.

  • The employees in social welfare institutions have an importance of learning due to jop specialty more than any one else. That is because there are a variety of increasing needs in social welfare services and customer-oriented welfare services. On the basis of that, this study shows how learning orientation theories as a new organization management strategy affects the employees in social welfare institutions. It shows cause and effect relation by establishing hypothesis model based on the preceding researches. It performed empirical analysis on the employees in social welfare institutions in G metropolitan city. As a result, the hypothesis was tested that learning flow, vision sharing, openness have significant effects on member's jop satisfaction. It implies that job satisfaction can be improved, if the level of learning flow, vision sharing, openness of the employees in social welfare institutions are promoted.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze impact of internal marketing on job satisfaction, job commitment, organizational commitment, and customer orientation in rapidly changing health care environment. The data were collected from 635 employee of 3 hospitals using a standardized questionnaires in Busan and Gyeongnam province. The results were as follows. All internal marketing factors had a direct impact on job satisfaction, job commitment, management support, empowerment, reward systems but affected the indirect through the job satisfaction all factors of internal marketing. Based on the results of this study members of the hospital in order to improve customer orientation, job satisfaction, job commitment create a pleasant working environment, give an appropriate decision-making and compensation for work performance. Compensation for work performance and organizational development suggestions should be considered by executive support.

  • 본 연구는 노인복지시설 종사자의 직무요인이 조직성과에 미치는 영향요인에 대해 실증적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이론적 배경에서 노인복지시설에 관한 문헌 검토와 노인 복지시설 종사자의 직무요인 및 조직성과에 대한 제이론을 검토하였다. 이론을 근거로 실증적 자료의 분석을 통하여 노인복지시설 종사자의 직무요인이 조직성과에 미치는 인과관계의 영향요인에 대해 검증하고자 하였다. 노인복지시설 종사자의 직무요인인 보수, 승진, 조직풍토, 업무환경, 조직구조가 조직성과인 직무만족과 조직몰입 및 충성도에 다르게 영향을 미칠 것으로 가정하였다. 실증적 분석에서는 연구대상에 대한 인구통계학적 분석과 연구모형에 대한 적합도를 검증하며, 구조방정식모형을 향해 가설검증을 실행하고자 한다.
