A Study on Realization of Display System for Monitoring of Heavy Equipment State (중장비 상태 감시를 위한 디스플레이 시스템 구현에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, the characteristics and operation of a multi-purpose loader equipped with various sensors such as a sensor capable of measuring the boom length, an angle sensor capable of measuring the tilt of the left and right sides of the boom and the loader, and a load cell capable of measuring the weight during lifting We have implemented a system that displays related data values. The configuration of the system reads the values from the sensors, sends them to the vehicle controller, and transmits the calculated results of the overturn rate and other important information to the display device using the CANOpen protocol. Also, in the calculation of the overturn ratio, the structure of the multi-purpose loader is similar to that of the crane belonging to the heavy equipment, and the crane overturn rate calculation method is used. Through this study, we can observe the condition of the heavy equipment and recognize the emergency situations such as abalone through the display device.

  • The Engineering Model of STSAT-2 on-board computer(OBC) was developed and tested completely with other sub-systems. The on-board computer of STSAT-2 has a high- performance PowerPC processors and a structure of centralized network communication. In addition, a lot of logics are implemented by Field Programmable Gate Array, such as interrupt controller, watchdog timer and UART. It could make the weight and size of OBC lighter and smaller. Also, the STSAT-2 on-board computer has more improved tolerance against Single Event Upsets and faults than that of the STSAT-1.

  • This paper presents the guideline for enhancing the reliability and availability of SAS with IEC 61850 based IEDs in real power system. The IEC 61850 standard communication networks and systems allow utilities to consider new designs for substations applicable both new substation and refurbishments. The existing solutions are based on hardwired interface between the primary substation equipment and the secondary protection, monitoring, control and recording devices. All over the world, lots of projects at different stages of realization have been reported during the last year leading to a rapid maturation of the associated technologies. At present, IEC 61850 is becoming a popular communication standard for the substation automation system.

  • 가스센서는 응용 분야와 기능 및 종류가 다양하고 최첨단 분야로서 학문적으로는 물리, 화학, 전기, 전자 및 기계 등의 배경을 필요로 하며 산업적으로는 공업 전 분야와 농림, 축산, 사무기기에서 뿐만 아니라 공해 방진용(자동차 연소제어 및 배출가스 제어, 대기오염 감시등), 민생용(조리, 환기, 공조 등), 교통 보안용(음주운전측정 및 음주운전 방지장치 등), 방재용(가스 누설 탐지기, 불완전 연소 방지, 산소 결핍, 화재 등), 의료용(호기, 마취가스의 분석 등) 매우 광범위하며 점점 더 확대되어 가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 검출 가스 종류에 따라 졸-겔법으로 감응막을 최적 설계하고, 최적으로 설계된 감응막을 디핑법으로 코팅처리한 후 최적으로 열처리하여 센서를 제작하였다. 또한, 자체 제작한 가스검출 시스템에 제작된 센서를 장착하여 센서의 가스 검출 특성을 측정하고, 측정 데이터를 이용하여 휴대용 가스 검출 시스템을 설계 제작하였다.

  • Automated voltage regulators (AVRs) are used on ships and offshore to automatically adjust the voltage based on real-time output voltage readings of the generator engine. Analog-type AVR was previously more commonly used, but is slowly being replaced with digital-type AVR because of increased demands of response time. This study presents a new digital AVR system that contains appropriate features of the AVR with respect to offshore unstable load conditions and poor operating conditions. Furthermore, experiments of load and voltage change prove the excellence of stability and response of the proposed system compared to previous AVR systems. Additionally, an integrated control system for a monitoring the output voltage and field current was developed to easily set the gain value.

  • Operating the nuclear power generations safely is not easy way because nuclear power generations are very complicated systems. In the main control room of the nuclear power generations, about 4000 numbers of alarms and monitoring devices are equipped to handle the signals corresponding to operating equipments. Thus, operators have to deal with massive information and to analyze the situation immediately. If they could not achieve these task, then they should make big problem in the power generations. Owing to too many variables, operators could be also in the uncontrolled situation. So in this paper, the fault diagnosis system is designed using 2-steps neural networks. This diagnosis method is based on the pattern of the principal variables which could represent the type and severity of faults.

  • To operate process plant safely and economically, process monitoring is very important. There are a great number of data acquired through distributed control system and process information system. Fault monitoring is the task with difficulties owing to not only the huge amount of data, but also nonlinearity of chemical processes. In this research, the program, REFA, based on PCA and functional link associative neural network has developed. REFA has better learning capabilities, generalization abilities, and shorter learning time than existing neural network programs. In this work its usefulness has proven by application to Tennessee Eastman process.

  • In October 2011, a commercialized 100kW class floating photovoltaic system positive plant was installed at Hapcheon dam a multi-purpose reservoir the first time ever in the nation. Floating photovoltaic system differs in water float, mooring device and underwater cable process from land photovoltaic system. As for land and building photovoltaic power generation equipments, many installation cases and skilled experiences are available, and thus installation is not difficult. However, commercial power generation floating photovoltaic system, which is attempted for the first time in the nation, requires to be designed and installed through a series of processes like technical review and verification of data by process in comparison with similar cases. The structure of floating photovoltaic system, an equipment for float photovoltaic module and other electrical equipment, is required to withstand weather environments like wind or typhoon etc and yet not affect water quality negatively, and for implementation of this system, construction efficiency and economy etc should be considered comprehensively. In this paper, the techniques of installing floating photovoltaic structure, mooring device, underwater cable, electrical equipment and remote monitoring control system are explained. The 100kW floating PV system is operating with 15% average capacity factor.

  • A micro embedded did the task to be simply the sequent at the past. The necessity of an embedded operating system did not exist in the reason. We satisfy the complication of the system and operating system have been desired for the officer of the process. The necessity of the process of real-time processing increased also with fast response time to users, The porting follows and have been composed of an real-time embedded operating system. We can control the control unit with the sensor to be established in the building, An embedded web sever to use the resource of the at least is appering a networking facility of interaction. In this paper, The web sever to be implemented in a purity software. We draw data for the thing to implement overall demo to the remote through Internet and We put the point even though we organized the frame to control this. we have successfully ported linux on an embedded system, which is based on intel StrongARM SA-1110 processor, then written several network modules of ethernet-based network device.

  • In the midst of continuing international recession, the rate of maritime traffic and marine leisure markets are consistently growing. The Republic of Korea controls the marine traffic volume through vessel traffic centers and various other management facilities. Nevertheless, the continuous growth and complexity of marine traffic is resulting in repeated occurrences of marine accidents. Recovery is very difficult in cases of human injuries or deaths caused by marine accidents due to its nature, and the scale of marine accidents is also becoming greater with advanced ship building technologies. Passenger ships, oil tankers, and other such vessels used for specific purposes requires a more detailed navigational status surveillance and analysis, and numerous research has been conducted with an objective for monitoring such special purpose vessels. However, the data elements transmitted from the ocean to the shore station are limited to AIS and ARPA. We are implementing IoT ship sensor collection and a syncing system capable of transmitting various ship sensing data to the shore station, and also proposing a Safe Navigation Status Analysis System utilizing the collected data.
