Voluntarism as an ethics standard for the human race in the 21st Century, suggest to us partical and realistic measures as well as an ideological framework which can solve the problems in the national area. Volunteer activities in the society by university and university students are very important within the nation, provincial communities as well as in the country area. This study focuses on voluntary activities of university students of all the local university on gyungsang buk do after looking in to the present situation of voluntarism and issues and seeks to search into the policy issues that university students voluntary activities should be directed towards. For the active execution of college students voluntary activities, it is necessary to establish partnerships between local communities and university, policy support from the university authorities, program development and expansion of the boundaries of volunteer avtivities, and connections between university Health voluntary health center.

Most of the volunteering and community service had no direct link with classroom learning. Service-learning educational methodology that directly and intentionally integrates the classroom learning with service to the community. Research has found that this combination can improve the academic learning of the course material, give participants a deeper understanding of the social issues they address and provide valuable community services. And, service-learning has been offend environment to meet many of the KEC 2005 criteria that many be difficult to integrate into traditional engineering course. In studying, recognizing why service learning is a new attempt what is different form other learning experiences, we would like to search management strategies for service learning course and program development.

The purpose of this study is to find necessary factors and to suggest the future directions for the successful graduate archival education in Korea by comparing current programs hi Korea and North America. Name of the schools, credits, required and elective courses, practice, research and thesis are compared by analyzing web sites and literature review. Development of more various Master's programs, a separate degree in Master of Archival Studies, more credits for the degree, standardization of curriculum, and the working environments for practicum, internship and research are found as important elements for the program. In the end, more collaborations with other disciplines, more faculties with working experiences and Ph. D. degree in archival studies, communications among the universities, archival institutions and professional societies/associations, continuous research on the programs, improvement of the quality of archivists, strong national supports for archives and records and establishment of the strong quality control for being archivists are suggested for the future directions.

In this study, in order to analyze the current status of the data science curriculum in Korea as of October 2019, we conducted an analysis of the prior studies on the curriculum in the data science field and the competencies required for data professional. This study was conducted on 80 curricula and 2,041 courses, and analyzed from the following perspectives; 1) the analysis of the characteristics of data science domain, 2) the analysis of key competencies in data science, 3) the content analysis of the course titles. As a result, data science program in Korea has become a research-oriented professional curriculum based on an academic approach rather than a technical, vocational, and practitional view. In addition, it was confirmed that various courses were established with a focus on statistical analysis competency, and interdisciplinary characteristics based on information technology, statistics, and business administration were reflected in the curriculum.

Recently, the rapid development and development of the industrial environment has changed the talent that companies need. As the educational paradigm changes, the university education should complement the problems of the lecture education method (the existing knowledge transfer method) in order to cultivate the talents needed for the corporation. In order to improve self - directed and creative problem - solving ability, new teaching and learning methods are needed. In this study, we apply flip learning in the algorithm class which is an essential curriculum of computer engineering. This group is divided into groups that are combined with theoretical and practical lessons, and groups that have applied theoretical lessons by applying flip learning, and groups that employ traditional lecture techniques. To improve learner's learning motivation and academic achievement, we propose a flip learning teaching method suitable for the algorithm subject and apply it directly to the class. Based on the results, we compare and analyze the academic achievement and learning satisfaction of learners.

They have been indicating that they cannot make their new employees to be committed immediately to working and suggesting the need for development of the program for improving the undergraduate students' practical ability in the business of architectural engineering. Specifically, in case of local colleges and universities, it is relatively difficult to establish the relationship with local industries or institutes and get a chance to visit various construction sites and meet with experienced professionals. In this study, a new course in the business of architectural engineering is developed for improving the undergraduate students' practical ability. In addition, the class website is developed to provide multimedia educational materials for distance education. Surveys on the programs and course materials developed through this research study will be conducted periodically to improve them continuously. It will encourage their sustainable use.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the applicability of project - based learning as a teaching method for 'Dental Hygiene Practice' in the community dental hygiene department at G city S university. The subjects were 30 students in the fourth grade in 2018. Data collection period was from March 12 to June 27, and mean and standard deviation were compared using SPSS 20.0 program. The results of the analysis showed that the score of the team with high team performance was high ($3.91{\pm}0.82$), the students were required to practice ($4.10{\pm}0.88$), and the feedback from the professor ($3.73{\pm}0.86$) Satisfaction was high. It was determined that the application of project - based learning classes in the 'Community Dental Hygienic Field Practice' course was appropriate for the class.

The purpose of this study was to examine the difference between communicative competence and problem solving ability by applying project - based instruction in the community dental hygienic subject. For this purpose, we measured 30 students' communication ability and problem solving ability using the same questionnaire before and after experiencing project learning. The data were Collected from 30 undergraduate students and analyzed by paired t-test with SPSS. The result demonstrated that project-based learning method has an significant effect on improvement of communication skill and problem solving ability of undergraduate students. Based on the results of this study, in order to improve the practical ability, it is necessary to activate the self-directed active learning method such as Project-based learning for community dental hygiene major study.

The purpose of this exploratory study was to investigate the influence of pre-service science teachers' selection of earth science I, II in the high school and their college major on their self-perceived attitude and academic achievement in general earth science lecture at university. The participants in the study were 273 who enrolled in the division of science education, college of education and took the general earth science lecture from 2012 to 2015. The data was analyzed with two-way ANOVA by using SPSS 23.0. The results indicated that there was no significant difference of students' attitude and examination difficulty in general earth science lecture between earth science major and other subject major. However, students who took earth science I and/or II in high school showed positive attitude toward the lecture and higher achievement scores than students who didn't take earth science I, II in their high school. The results of the study imply that it is essential to consider students' attitude toward science and achievement in pre-service science teacher education.

The purpose of this research is to compare the opinions of three different groups - subject specialist librarians(group I) . students of department programs(group II) and students of college programs(group III) - as to whether these groups have a different way of thinking from each other concerning a general culture for subject specialist librarianship. Questionnaire are carried out for this research and the responses analyzed to draw a conclusion. Major findings are as follows: 1) The subject specialist librarianship to be important to all three groups and a desirable academic career of group I shows a tendency to have both B.A. degree in the subjet field and M.A. degree in library & information science, $15.3\%$ of group II and $82.9\%$ of group III appear to be belonging to either minor or double major programs, 2) the 37-45 major credits to be ideal to group I & III, and 46-55 group II, 3) a knowledge in 'Computer' and 'English' is mostly demanded to all three groups as the general culture for subject apecialist librarianship, 4) theoretical courses to be very important to group I and technical courses to group II & III, 5) the collection and access of library materials to be regarded to all three groups as an important role for future librarians.
