This study started with the awareness that domestic studies on China's maritime gray zone strategy have been following the analysis results of previous studies, and that only principled positions and directions for countermeasures remain at the 'declarative and conceptual' level. In order to overcome the above problems, the author analyzed the maritime gray zone strategy being developed in the South China Sea, East China Sea, and the West Sea and Ieodo areas, recognizing that China is developing a maritime gray area strategy based on the 'three warfare' that constitutes its own strategic culture. As a result of the analysis, it is predicted that China's maritime gray zone strategy will be more aggressive in order to occupy the West Sea and Ieodo in the future. As a concept of our naval response strategy, The author proposed to 'neutralize' the development effect of 'three warfare', the basis of China's maritime gray zone strategy, to stop the gradual change in the phenomenon induced by China, and to continuously pursue 'return' to a maritime order based on norms and rules. In this study, a 'concrete and systemized' countermeasure to implement this was presented.

This paper is written in order to research for the contents and expression of HanYongUn's Sijo. HanYongUn is very famous as monk and independent campaigner, modern poet in Korea. He wrote many kinds of literary works, for example, many modern poetry, modern novels, Sijo, Chino-Korean Poetry etc. It's very exceptional that he wrote a lot of Korean traditional Sijo and Chino-Korean Poetry. Because he was a many modern poet as same as modern novelist. So studying on his Sijo can help someone to understand the essence of HanYongUn's all literature. That's why I'm studying on HanYongUn's Sijo. The firstly, in aspect of the the contents of HanYongUn's Sijo, HanYongUn was expressing three kinds of themes, that is ideology, reality, daily life in his Sijo. The ideology consists of Buddhism and Confucianism and the reality is related with social conditions, the daily life is deeply connected with Nim. These features of his Sijo are different from his modern poetry and Chino-Korean Poetry which had a simple theme, for example, love with Nim, daily life. The secondly, in aspect of the expression of HanYongUn's Sijo, I studied the expression of HanYongUn's Sijo in three angles, that is, vocabulary and the developing of poet thinking, rhetorics. HanYongUn used essential words for expressing three kinds of themes effectively in his Sijo. And he was developing of his poet thinking by three steps in his Sijo. He applied several representative rhetorics to his Sijo, those are question and answer, exclamation, irony, distich etc. Even though I studied the characteristics of HanYongUn's Sijo in two aspects But there could be the other things to study about these kinds of theme. I might continue researching the other kinds of theme next time in the near future.

Higher educational results might come from the rational method of curriculum operation. Therefore, every subject in the major course should be planned to response the specialty of students and the efficient method of education are still more needed in technical college, in which students have to get the specialty on the short period of education. Because each subject in the major course works as the close cause and result of educational goal to form the specialty of students, the achievement of educational results in each subject is an important studying part of the educators in technical college. This study is a case of the approaching method for the improvement of learning effect by the connection of subjects 'Space Design' and 'Computer Aided Design' in the Dept. of Industrial design. It is considered to achieve two subjects' educational goals by leading up the students' learning concentration from the comprehension and experience about the co-relationship of the two subjects. And it shows the results of this approaching method such as students could get the design technology of the two subjects, and they could have self-confidence to the managing of the design process and planning of the design works as well.

The processes of mathematics development and the results of it are always those of making a conquest of the circumscription by historical inevitability within the historical circumscription. It is in this article that I try to show this processes through the history of calculus. This article develops on the basis of the dialectical materialism. It views the change and development as the facts that take place not by individual subjective judgments but by social-historical material conditions as the first conditions. The dialectical materialism is appropriate for explaining calculus treated in full-scale during the 17th century, passing over ahistorical vacuum after Archimedes about B.C. 4th century. It is also appropriate for explaining such facts as frequent simultaneous discoveries observed in the process of the development of calculus. 1 try to show that mathematics is social-historical products, neither the development of the logically formal symbols nor the invention by subjectivity. By this, I hope to furnish philosophical bases on the discussion that mathematics teaching-learning must start from the real world.

This study purports to explain the difference between the welfare reform of Britain and that of either European countries or USA. For this purpose, Chapter two documents and reviews the inter-party debates around the Clause Four in the Labour Constitution, and duly ascertains the role of the reciprocity principle in the development of New Labour Project. Then, Chapter three argues that this reciprocity principle guides and controls the whole process of workfare reform of the Labour Government since 1997. Finally, Chapter four concludes that the salient features of the British workfare reform originated from recent changes of the British political climates, that is, the ideological change of the Labour Party.

Since the 1980s, the academic interests on the regional geography have been renewed. This trend is usually called 'Renaissance' of the regional geography. Given this context, to explore diverse theories and methodologies in the regional geography is of much significance. Particularly, to examine the regional geography in Germany widens the understanding of not only the history, strength, and weakness of the regional geography, but also the discipline's status in the field of geography. This paper discusses the regional geography in Germany before World War II, focusing on varieties of theories and methods as well as the historical trajectory of the German regional geography. This discussion may well be significant in that 'Laenderkunde' became an important paradigm in the discipline of geography in Germany during the pre-World War II period.

This paper describes a short-term prediction model for the movement of an oil slick in shallow waters. Under the assumption that the initial movement of the oil slick is governed by spreading and advection, the model has been developed and applied to Kyungki-Bay near Incheon Harbor. The initial spreading is estimated by using an empirical formula. The depth-averaged momentum equations are solved numerically for the volume transport velocities, in which the $M_2$ tide is the main driving source. A staggered grid system is adopted fur spatial discretization and the half-time method is implemented for time marching. The numerical result is visualized with the help of animation and thus the contaminated area is displayed on a monitor in time sequence. The input data are the time, the location and the volume of spill accident as well as environmental data such as md and $M_2$ tide.

If traditional Korean villages or residential districts have formed a community on the ground of coexisting with nature, there is a different historical development process in which many European cities have created residences for multi households on the basis of roads and blocks in fortresses. Along with the modernization of society together with large-scale housing supply, the urban landscape of series of large apartment complexes has become universal views of our urban structure; thus, the viewpoint that small and medium-sized block-based collective housing, which are more common urban structures in European cities can be linked to the improvement of urbanity and neighborship is examined. Through the process, the possibility of expanding collective housing supply based on small and medium-sized blocks as an alternative method other than complex-type apartments based on superblock, I would like to make meaningful in terms of how we can change the fundamental mutual relationship with our lifestyle and the tangible change of collective housing types which has large impact on our lives.

The purpose of this paper is to summarize the development process of major science and technology manpower policies and to derive desirable future policy directions in the policy environment of a paradigm shift in supply and demand. To this end, first, the development process of the science and technology manpower policy, which was promoted in earnest from the 2000s, with the topic of resolving the phenomenon of avoidance of science and engineering majors, was examined, focusing on the basic plan for supporting science and engineering majors. Next, we summarized the main contents and implications of the change in demand for science and technology personnel caused by digital transformation and the supply shock of demographic decline, that is, the paradigm shift in the supply and demand of science and technology talents. Based on this, the core direction of the future science and technology manpower policy was suggested to create a human-centered science and technology research ecosystem that promotes the continued growth and inflow of human resources, so that can be the foundation for the training and utilization of excellent science and technology talents.

This paper pay attention to silent puppets which appear in the traditional puppet performance. Not only movement of silent puppets which are involved with expression of body of the mime, but also various methods overcome limits of the silent are studied in this paper. Through the study of performance method and historic unfolding aspects, I confirm two main points. First point is that overcome limits of the silent, through the diversity of performance aspects. Second point is that silent puppets have been existed since the early stage of history, and show typical unfolding aspects on their way. Combining two main points, We can say that silent puppets go through continuous unfolding aspects on their way and have meaning of existence. The meaning of existence are that silent puppets seek deviant desire which deviate from everyday life and transcendental desire which seek a freedom through an imagination or an idea. It is interesting that the reasons of existence are associated with the emphasis of necessity which is encouragement of audience's desire and imagination that are necessary of accomplish of mime. After all, silent puppets say that diverse attempts which overcome limits of the silent are accomplished with the performance aspects and historic unfolding aspects, and through that sought unusual communication. Through the performance methods and signification aspects, silent puppets say that diverse groping for which maximize of audience's imagination, stimulation of imagination for audience's spontaneousness, and diverse groping for audience mind performance have been performanced as well. I think that those are the voice of silent puppets for activity of mime in the korea.
