QoS-Constrained Resource Reconfiguration Scheme based on Temporal Quorum Status Estimation in Computational Grids (계산 그리드에서의 시변 쿼럼 상태 예측을 기반으로 한 QoS 제약 자원 재구성 방법)

  • Quality of Service (QoS)-constrained policy has an advantage to guarantee QoS requirements requested by users. Quorum systems can ensure the consistency and availability of replicated data despite the benign failure of data repositories. We propose a Quorum based resource management scheme, which includes a system resource and network resource, both of which can satisfy the requirements of application QoS. We also propose the resource reconfiguration algorithm based on temporal execution time estimation method. Resource reconfiguration means that reshuffling the current available resource set for maintaining the quality level of the resources. We evaluate the effectiveness of resource reconfiguration mechanism with a Heart Hemodynamics analysis. Our approach shows the increase of the stability of execution environment as well as decrease the completion time compare to the method that is not adapted the resource reconfiguration.

Design of Paper-Based Reconfigurable Frequency Selective Surface for Spectrum Control of Indoor Environments (실내 공간 스펙트럼 제어를 위한 종이기반 재구성 주파수 선택구조 설계)

  • In this paper, we presented the paper-based reconfigurable frequency selective surface(FSS) for transmitting or blocking the wireless LAN signal in indoor environments. The proposed reconfigurable FSS are designed on coated paper using a printing of conductive ink and conductive adhesive for PIN diode, which provides ON/OFF of the reconfigurable FSS for passing or blocking the 5GHz signal. The reconfigurable FSS attached on the wall can pass or block the incident wireless signal as the received signal strength in indoor. To provide the validity of the proposed FSS, we fabricated the reconfigurable FSS on the paper and confirmed the very similar results between simulations and measurements. From the measured results of the proposed spectrum control system, we know that the proposed reconfigurable FSS can block about 20dB at 5.745GHz~5.805GHz.

Development of Two Dimensional Filter for the Reconstructive Image Processing (영상 재구성 처리를 위한 이차원 필터의 구성)

  • Two dimensional kernels which reconstruct a tomographic image from a blurred one formed by simple back-projection are investigated in the frequency domain and their performances are compared. The kernels are derived from a point spread function of the tomographic system and have the form of a ramp filter modified by several window functions to suppress ringings or artifacts in the reconstruction. Computer simulation using computer-generated phantom image data with different filter functions has been carried out. In this simulation, it is found that the computation time for 2-D reconstruction is much less than that of 1-D convolution method by a factor of ten or more whereas the reconstructed image quality of the former is far poorer than the latter. In 2-D reconstruction heavy windowing results in less noisy reconstruction but details smear out in this case. The trade-offs between these points are considered.

  • The purpose of this paper is to reveal the limitation of previous studies on curriculum re-construction and to suggest an alternative for curriculum re-construction. Through the literature review, this paper finds that previous studies quiet over the direction about selecting as well as organizing contents. In order to overcome the weaknesses of previous studies, this paper embraces the interest of learner for establishing the direction of curriculum reconstruction. To be more specific, this study shows that how can the ideas of growth, habit, and interest of John Dewey connect to contents-selecting and organizing in the process of instruction. As a result, this paper helps curriculum discourses to make progress for various direction and helps teachers to reconstruct the contents based on interests of their students.

Load-balanced Topology Maintenance with Partial Topology Reconstruction (부분 토폴로지 재구성 기법을 적용한 부하 균형 토폴로지 유지)

  • A most important thing in a connected dominating set(CDS)-based routing in a wireless ad-hoc network is to select a minimum number of dominating nodes and then build a backbone network which is made of them. Node failure in a CDS is an event of non-negligible probability. For applications where fault tolerance is critical, a traditional dominating-set based routing may not be a desirable form of clustering. It is necessary to minimize the frequency of reconstruction of a CDS to reduce message overhead due to message flooding. The idea is that by finding alternative nodes within a restricted range and locally reconstructing a CDS to include them, instead of totally reconstructing a new CDS. With the proposed algorithm, the resulting number of dominating nodes after partial reconstruction of CDS is not changed and also its execution time is faster than well-known algorithm of construction of CDS by 20~40%. In the case of high mobility situation, the proposed algorithm gives better results for the performance metrics, packet receive ratio and energy consumption.

  • The purpose of this study was to present a methodology for reconstructing the curriculum to provide appropriate music education to students with special needs in inclusive classrooms. This study presents a customizing music curriculum reconstructing model for students with special needs. This model consists of six stages: analyzing students' characteristics and educational needs, analyzing the common music curriculum and basic music curriculum, establishing specified assessment criteria for achievement standards, analyzing the music textbook for the common curriculum and basic curriculum, reorganizing educational activities in music units, and conducting differentiated music instruction. This study presents an example of the customization process and focuses on a creative music activity for students with intellectual disabilities. Recommendations and guidelines for reconstructing the curriculum to best meet the educational needs of students with special needs are provided.

  • 기존의 스캐터넷 형성 알고리즘은 스캐터넷의 초기 형성에 있어서는 알고리즘을 제공하고 있으나, 다중 스캐터넷 환경에서 기기가 다른 스캐터넷으로 이동하거나 탈퇴 할 경우 의도하지 않은 기기들의 연결 종료에 대한 재구성 알고리즘으로는 비교적 많은 시간이 소모되어 효과적이지 못하다. 본 논문에서는 블루투스 기기들의 이동이나 탈퇴로 인한 스캐터넷의 변화에 대해 효과적으로 재구성하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

Reconfiguration of Distribution System Using Simulated Annealing (시뮬레이티드 어닐링을 이용한 배전 계통 재구성)

  • 본 논문은 배전 계통에서 부하 제약조건과 운전 제약조건을 고려한 손실 감소와 부하 평형에 대해 시뮬레이티드 어닐링 알고리즘을 적용한 재구성 방법을 서술하였다. 네트워크 재구성은 수많은 연계 개폐기와 구분 개폐기의 조합에 의해 이루어지기 때문에 조합적인 최적화 문제이다. 이러한 문제는 수많은 조합에 제약조건까지 있어 해를 구하기가 쉽지 않을 뿐 아니라 국소 해에 빠질 가능성이 많다. 따라서 신경망 중에서 제약조건에 따라 신경망 구조에 영향을 미치지 않으면서 전역 최소해에 수렴하는 특성을 가진 시뮬레이티드 어닐링 기법을 이용하여 배전 계통의 선로를 재구성하였다. 시뮬레이티드 어닐링은 이론적으로 최적해가 보장되지만 무한대의 시간이 걸리기 때문에 현실적으로 적용할 때 해 공간을 탐색하는 규칙과 온도를 적절히 내리는 냉각 스케줄(cooling schedule)이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 알고리즘 상에서 제약조건 위반 여부를 점검할 수 있는 제약조건과 페널티 상수(penalty factor)를 통해 목적함수에 반영하는 제약조건으로 나누어 모든 후보해를 가능해가 되게 하였고 기존에 사용되던 Kirkpatrick의 냉각 스케줄 대신에 후보해의 통계적 처리에 의해 온도를 내리는 다항-시간 냉각 스케줄(polynomial-time cooling schedule)을 사용하여 수행시간을 단축하고 수렴성을 높였다. 제안한 알고리즘의 효용성을 입증하기 위해 32, 69모선 예제 계통으로 테스트하였다.

On the Reconstruction of the Sound Field Using the Regularized Equivalent Source Method (정규화된 등가음원법을 이용한 음장의 재구성)

  • 본 연구에서는 복잡한 형상을 가진 음원으로부터 방사하는 음장을 등가음원법 (equivalent source method)을 이용하여 재구성한다. 일반적인 등가음원법의 기본 원리는 진동하는 물체의 표면 또는 내부에 등가음원을 분포시켜서 등가음원의 강도를 계산하는 방법이다. 각 등가음원의 강도는 음원의 경계 조건이나 측정된 음장 음압을 통해서 구할 수가 있으며 사용된 등가음원의 차수, 개수 그리고 위치 등은 고려되어야 할 중요한 변수들이다. 기존의 HELS (Helmholtz equation least square) 방법은 한 곳의 위치에 다양한 차수로 이루어진 등가음원을 사용하여 각 차수의 계수를 구하는 방법으로써 구형에 가까운 음원에 대해서 좋은 결과를 보이나 음장의 결과가 최대 차수의 선택에 따라서 큰 오차를 유발하는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 정규화 기법을 사용하여 음장을 재구성하기 위해 필요한 등가음원의 최적 차수를 구하고, 음원 내부에 최적 차수로 이루어진 등가음원을 여러 개의 점에 위치시켜서 재구성 정확도를 향상시켰다. 정규화된 등가음원법의 타당성 검증을 위하여 표면 일부가 진동하는 구에 대한 수치 해석 및 청소기 모델에 대한 음장 재구성 실험 을 수행하였다.
