Analysis of Sloping Ground When Lifting with Force Platform (힘판을 이용한 들기 작업시의 경사면 분석)

  • Even manual materials handling tasks(MMHT) is decreasing by adopt of automatic manufacturing system & transportation supporting machine because of increase of productivity, wage lack of labor, safety, in fact working at inclined & complicated slope such as farm, orchard, harbor loading & unloading, logging place and mining place can't be substituted by machine perfectly. So, workers should do MMHT at this place by themselves, lifting on slope can cause much of hazard, include falling. Keeping balance net to slip can be a reason of low back pain(LBP) by overloaded musculoskeletal system but, there's no enough study about lift on slope. Therefore, In this study, we assessed and analyzed change of center of pressure(COP) when lifting on slope by force platform. The result showed that the length lengthen as increasing angle of slope. Especially, the length extremely increased over 15°. Through These basic result, present proper angle boundary, prevent industrial accidents and give proper data not only lifting but also pushing and pulling on slope someday.

Sonar System Application for detection of underwater work space boundary using seabed type underwater equipments (착저형 수중장비를 이용한 수중작업 시 작업경계면 인식을 위한 소나시스템 활용법)

  • The detection of an underwater work space boundary is very important when an underwater construction is carried out using seabed type underwater equipment, such as underwater machines for rubble mound leveling, because it can induce industrial disasters. Therefore, divers are needed to mark the underwater work space boundary. A nylon rope is used to improve the convenience during an underwater diver's work. The results showed that the work space boundary can be detected using a sonar system. Using these results, an efficient method to detect the underwater work space boundary can be obtained when an underwater construction is carried out using seabed type underwater equipment.

  • 본 논문은 양면발파에 의한 채석기술에서 주로 양면발파 장약패턴 및 다이아몬드 와이어쏘절삭기술에 관한 내용을 중심으로, 현재 각 석재광산에서 시행하고 있는 채석기술과 연구소 에서 시행한 현장 시험발파 결과를 기술한 것이다. 첫째, DA석재광산에서는 제트버너를 이용하여 자유면을 형성하고, 일면발파법과 양면발파법의 작업시간을 비교한 결과 양면 발파할 때에 37%이상의 작업시간 절약효과가 있었으며, 인원은 36%이상의 감소효과가 있었다.둘째, DH석재광산에서는 다이아몬드 와이어쏘를 이용하여 자유면을 형성하고 양면발파 작 업시간과 타 광산에서 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 제트버너에 의한 양면발파 작업시간을 비교하였을 때에 21%이상의 절감효과가 있었고, 작업인원도 21%이상의 감소효과가 있었다. 다이아몬드 와이어쏘를 이용하여 양측면에 자유면을 형성하고 양면 발파하는 채석기술은 소음 및 분진에 의한 환경공해를 방지할 수 있었으며, 작업공정 및 경제성 면에서도 매우 유 리하나 실패시 다른 채석기술에 비해 모암의 손상으로 인한 경제적 손실이 커질 수 있다는 단점도 있으므로 정밀한 발파설계 및 기술이 필요하다.

The lighting environment of two offices untilizing VDTs were significantly different according to the daylight direction; the side and the frontward.

원통연삭에서의 AE 특성분석

  • 연삭숫돌은 드레싱에 의해 초기숫돌면의 상태가조정되며, 가공과 더불어 공작물과 연삭숫돌의 연속적인 간섭으로 공작물의 치수변화와함께 연삭숫돌도 작업면이 변화하게 된다. 공작물의 표면은 연삭조건 및 공작물과 숫돌의 접촉특성에 따라 Rubbging, Ploughing, Cutting 작용이 이루어져 가공면이 형성되며 이때의 공작물의 표면 품위( Surface Integrity)는 연삭숫돌의 상태변화에따라 매우 민감하게 영향을 받는다. 본 연구에서는 원통연삭작업 에서의 감시 및 진단기술개발을 위하여 AE 센서의 적용가능성을 살펴보기위하여, 센서의 설치위치에 따른 영향 및 연삭가공 특성을 잘나타내는 AE Parameter의 선정을 위한 실험을 수행하며, 가공시간에 따른 연삭숫돌작업면 의 상태변화에 의한 AE Parameter의 변화를 조사하며, 이와더불어 연삭중의 법선저항을 측정분석하고 통계적인 수법으로 ARMA (Autoregressive Moving Average)을 이용하여 가공특성변화를 분석한다.

Economical Analysis and Estimate Method of Possible Working Hours for Marine Rock Excavation Work Regarding the Tide Cycle (조석의 주기를 고려한 해상 암굴착 공사의 경제성 분석 및 작업가능시간 산정 방법에 관한 연구)

  • The rock excavation work on the sea is planned as underwater process if the elevation of the rock is lower than the M.S.L.(Mean Sea Level). However, in case of West and South sea which are largely different between the rise and fall of the tide, the earth work can be performed on the ground while the work surface is exposed above the sea according to the tide cycle. Thus, it may a good substitute to make up for shortcomings of underwater construction works such as safety problems of workers, loss of efficiency and increasement of construction costs. But the difference between the height of the rock excavation surface and the water surface changed by the tide makes the exposure time of work surface, that is the possible working hours be changed. Also, it may cause the changes of construction cost. Thus, this study analyzes the economical efficiency of the construction method using the difference between the rise and fall of the tide in comparison with the construction method which is performed under the sea, and it also suggests the way to analyze the economical working hours by estimating the possible working hours on the ground. We also try to find out the application possibility of the way like the rock excavation work on the sea using the difference between rise and fall of the tide.

  • Crack sealing has been widely used in the pavement maintenance due to its advantage of repairing the cracks at the preliminary stages. However, it has been analyzed that the crack sealing work process is dangerous and labor intensive. Moreover, quality and productivity of crack sealing work are highly depended on labor experience and skills. Therefore, various crack sealing machines have been researched but revealed many limitations in practical application. This research analyses conventional crack sealing work process and previously developed crack sealing machines in order to develop an automated pavement crack sealing machine which can be practically and widely applied in the construction fields. This paper develops the previously proposed conceptual design by drawing detailed designs and fabricating the hardware(manipulator and end-effector) of the automated pavement crack sealing machine. The crack sealing machine suggested in this paper overcomes limitations of existing crack sealing machines and designed to meet the domestic road conditions and regulations. It is expected that automating the conventional crack sealing method contributes to the improvement of quality, economy and reduce accidents.

  • Crack sealing is a maintenance technique commonly used to prevent water and debris penetration and reduce future degradation in pavement. In recent years, several systems for automatically routing and sealing pavement cracks have been developed in the highway construction and maintenance area. Automating pavement crack sealing can improve safety, productivity and quality, and reduce road user cost as well. The reduction in crew size and the increase in productivity of the automated sealing process will be translated directly into significant potential cost savings. The main objective of this study is to illustrate conceptual models for the development of the automated pavement crack sealer which meets domestic road condition and regulation, and to discuss its technical feasibilities. Conclusions are made concerning the applicability and the value of cantilever-typed pavement crack which is selected as the most feasible alternative in both economical and technical aspects.

Development of a Low Pressure Auxiliary Fan for Local Large-opening Limestone Mines (대단면국내석회석광산용저풍압국부선풍기개발연구)

  • At present, local limestone mines with large opening employ auxiliary fans for workplace ventilation which have been used in coal mines with much smaller airways. Considering the low static pressure loss in the large-opening mines, high pressure auxiliary fans face serious economical limitations mainly due to their excessive capacity. The optimal fan selected for the ventilation in large-opening working places should supply air quantity enough for maintaining safe environment and keep its operating cost as low as possible. This study focuses on the development of a low pressure auxiliary fan designed to have smaller range of the static head but to have more potential for higher ventilation and energy efficiency. The flow characteristics of high and low pressure auxiliary fans were theoretical as well as experimentally investigated to assess the ventilation efficiency in term of environmental and economical aspects. Moreover, the low pressure fan was tested in two limestone mine sites with small and large cross-sectional areas for evaluating its ventilation efficiency. Results from this study can be applied to improve the economy and efficiency of auxiliary fan for ensuring better air quality and work environment management.
