Since the global financial crisis, the Korean domestic construction market has continuously experienced downturns, and the Korean domain construction firms'profitability has been persistently deteriorated. Domestic construction firms have rapidly advanced to overseas markets exclusively for the construction contract packages. However, the profitability for the construction contracts has been lower compared to engineering or project management contracts. One of the critical issues the Korean firms have faced was project management capability across all phases in project execution. Even though several project management capability assessment tools were introduced, most tools were applicable to a wide variety of industry sectors rather than construction industry. Project management capability assessment tool specifically applicable to domestic CM firms was developed through this research, in order to assess project and program management capabilities and improve the competitiveness in overseas market Also, the correlation between project, programs, and the CM infrastructure were identified. The CM firms were divided into two groups according to the size of the business, and both were evaluated at the project and the program level based for the 9 different criteria. The project management capability assessment tool developed for the CM firms can be used for self-assessment to distinguish the strengths and weaknesses of each company at the project and program level. In addition, the current status of each group can be identified by spotting improvement areas for the management capabilities.

The aims of this study are to identify levels of diabetes self-care activities and find associated factors of the elderly with Type 2 diabetes. The participants for this study were 264 elderly Koreans over 65 years old who visited one general hospital in S city in South Korea for their medical treatment. In the results, there are few statistically significant differences in general characteristics and disease related variables according with diabetes self-care activities (DSCA). DSCA showed negative correlation with depression (r=-.278, p=.033) and positive correlation with ADLs(r=.310, p=.013)and IADLs(r=.415, p=.001). Therefore, the findings of this study suggest implementing self-care activities to the elderly with diabetes based on their psychological factors (depression) and functional capacities (ADL and IADL). In addition, the advanced research will be needed for developing tailored nursing educations and interventions to improve diabetes self-care activities of elderly patients.

This is a descriptive study to identify the importance and satisfaction on nursing core competencey(NCC) for the clinical practical centered nursing education curriculum revision. The subjects were 136 staff nurses and nurse managers at A and B hospitals in K city. The data were collected from December 1 to 15, 2012. It were analyzed using the SAS program through t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test. There was a significant differences in the score of the importance and satisfaction on NCC within nurses(t=12.64, p<0.0001) and within nurse managers(t=6.20, p<0.0001). Also there was higher in the score of importance on professional knowledge and personality area of the NCC, But there was the most lowest in the score of satisfaction on foreign language skills. Therefore education and health care systems should work closely to promote professional competency of nurses and to strengthen the liberal arts education, including personality and foreign language skills of students nurses.

Purpose: This descriptive correlational study was intended to analyze the relationship among menopausal symptoms. competency of self-care agency and social support in middle-aged women. Methods: Participants in the study were 140 women who were 45-60 years of old. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics., t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\grave{e}}^{\prime}s$ test and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: The frequency and discomfort of menopausal symptom were low, but the mean discomfort score were higher than frequency score. Middle-aged women with lower competency of self care experienced more frequent menopausal symptoms (t=-0.28, p=.001) and more discomfort (t=-0.24, p=.004). However, There was no significant difference in menopausal symptoms according to social support. Conclusion: Nursing interventions to enhance competency of self-care agency in middle-aged women are required in order to reduce the discomfort of menopausal symptoms.

본 연구는 컴퓨터시스템을 이용한 맞춤형 정음기반 한국어 학습 지원시스템의 효율적인 모델에 관한 연구 논문으로서, IMS/AICC 국제규격을 준수하는 LCMS와 SCORM 기반의 정음 정보처리로 한국어 교육이 가능한 학습지원시스템에 구축 시스템의 세부 모음들을 정의하였다. 주 내용은 학습자의 학습결과와 학습 습관을 분석 평가하여 자가 주도 식으로 학습할 수 있는 기능을 제공한 것이다. 본 연구는 효율적인 PMS 세부모듈 시스템은 물론, 표준 역량모델관리시스템, 학습자 개별 역량 관리시스템, 역량저장 및 저장소, 커뮤니티를 활용한 역량 모델기반의 지식관리시스템, 교육 수요분석용 e-Survey시스템, 모바일 학습지원서비스 시스템 등이다. 앞으로 클라우드컴퓨팅 기술을 적용한 외국인을 위한 정음기반 한국어 학습지원시스템 구축 표준 모델을 제시하였다.

Today, the United States, Europe and other advanced organizations are utilizing the concept of competency-based HR management. Recently, many organizations in Korea are also managing workforces by introducing the concept of job competencies in personnel management. However, in spite of the current trend, domestic human resources management methods for construction managers continues to operate by asking about work experience, licensing, education level, etc. This is a seniority system and it functions separately from an assessment of practical job competencies for the business. Moreover, construction management work has been very fragmented in terms of expertise and capacity depending on the type of management work and project progress. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a competencies management system for each business segment to effectively manage job competencies that reflect the the characteristics of a construction manager' s work. As such, the aim of this study is to analyze human resources management methods pertaining to domestic construction managers and present challenges and limitations in current practices. In particular, factors affecting the job competencies of construction managers are analyzed statistically. The results of this study will be used as the basis for future research into development of a construction manager competency management system.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of patient safety competence and teamwork on patient safety management activities in operating room nurse. The survey was 110 nurses with in the operating room of the general hospital, using self-report questionnaire. Stepwise regression analysis were used. Older group and those with higher levels of education status were significantly associated with high scores on patient safety competence. Patient safety competence and safety management activities showed a significant positive correlation, and teamwork and safety management activities showed a significant positive correlation. Regression analysis showed that patient safety competence and awareness of teamwork had a significant impact on patient safety management activities and the explanatory power of these variables was 15.7%. In conclusion, efforts are needed to improve patient safety competence and teamwork in order to improve patient safety management activities in operating room nurse, and further studies on other variables affecting patient safety management activities are needed.

The Korean domestic construction management at risk (CMAR) market is in the process of completing the pilot project execution under the leadership of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as of December 2019. The government starts practicing CMAR an alternative delivery method widely in order to diversify delivery methods and enhance construction technology. The CMAR market is thus expected to grow. This study was conducted to improve CMAR firms' capability by developing self-assessment tools for them to evaluate current capability more effectively. As a result of defining standard core capability and additional elements categorized by project execution phase and management area, and performing evaluation from the CMAR project participants, it was found that the general project management capability in the pre-design and procurement phase and quality management area was lower compared to the construction phase and other areas. In addition, the capability of cost management area was lower in spite of its high importance. Communication and coordination, process optimization, and target values achievement were at the initial level of capability and continuous improvement was required.

This study was conducted to identify the relationship between personal competence of health care(PCHC) and quality of life among middle-aged adults. Data were collected using questionnaires from 412 middle-aged parents of university student. There were significant differences in PCHC and quality of life according to educational level, family support, monthly income, exercise over 3times a week, subjective health status. However, religion and drinking made a differece only in PCHC on the other hand, sex and disease affected quality of life. All subdomains of PCHC had significant positive correlations with quality of life. Factors predicting quality of life among subdomains of PCHC were health perception, sociocultural relationship and socioeconomical involvement, which explained about 50.3%. These results indicate a need to develop programs to improve health perception, sociocultural and socioeconomical competence for middle-aged adults.

The Purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting patient safety management activity targeted nursing student and to provide basic data for patient safety in nursing education and to develop education program improving students' patient safety management activity. The participants of this study were 358 nursing students in a region and collected data by self-reported questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, stepwise multiple regression analysis. As a resutls, Significant positive correlations were found between patient safety competency, performance confidence, coping and patient safety management activity for nursing students. Patient safety competency, performance confidence were significant factors related to patient safety management activity but coping was not found to directly affect patient safety management activity. Thus, we propose to develop a education intervention program that considers patient safety competency, performance confidence in order to improve patient safety management activity of nursing students.
