First, intolerance of uncertainty and dichotomous thinking showed perfect mediation effects on the relationship between perfectionistic self-presentation and social anxiety. Intolerance of uncertainty and dichotomous thinking were identified as contributing factors to the development and preservation of social anxiety by perfectionistic self-presenters. Second, in the relationship between perfectionistic self-presentation and dichotomous thinking, intolerance of uncertainty showed mediation effect. And in the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and social anxiety, dichotomous thinking showed mediation effect. This suggested that if tolerance of uncertainty was deficient, it was likely to lead to dichotomous thinking. And a dichotomous thinking has prompted or accelerated negative cognitive biases resulting from intolerance of uncertainty, triggering and deepening social anxiety. Lastly, the limitations of this study and future research direction were suggested.

  • The present study aimed to examine the relationship between person-job fit, work meaningfulness, job involvement, and career satisfaction, which have recently gained attention from employees and HR professionals. Based on previous studies, we logically established a path from person-job fit to work meaningfulness, job involvement, and ultimately career satisfaction. This study sought to validate these dual mediating effect. A survey was conducted with 283 employees, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and Process Macro. The main findings of the study are as follows: person-job fit, work meaningfulness, job involvement, and career satisfaction showed positive correlations. The dual mediating effects of work meaningfulness and job involvement on the relationship between person-job fit and career satisfaction were statistically significant. These results imply that in order to prevent employee turnover and ensure the organization's sustained performance, it is necessary to design jobs in a way that allows employees to perceive their work as suitable and aligned with their characteristics, thereby enhancing positive psychological factors such as work meaningfulness, job involvement, and career satisfaction. The conclusions provide implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research.

To this end, data from the 8th year of the Multicultural Youth Panel (MAPS) conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were used, and a total of 1,229 multicultural teenagers in the 2nd year of high school participated in the study. For data analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, path model suitability verification, path model coefficient, and mediating effect verification were conducted. Based on the results of these studies, it was intended to provide basic data for developing an integrated program that improves parental support and career attitude determination of multicultural adolescents.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of Ethical Leadership on job engagement, organizational commitment and unethical pro-organizational behavior and to analyze the dual mediation effect of job engagement and organizational commitment. We used 565 questionnaires collected by members in domestic companies. The result of the analyses are as follows: First, Ethical Leadership has no positive effect on unethical pro-organizational behavior. Second, in the relationship between Ethical Leadership and unethical pro-organizational behavior, job engagement does not play a mediating role, but organizational commitment plays a mediating role. Third, in the relationship between Ethical Leadership and unethical pro-organizational behavior, job engagement and organizational commitment play a dual mediating role. The theoretical implication is that this study once again confirmed the behavior patterns such as cognition, emotion, attitude and behavior of members in the organization. In addition, this study can contribute to theoretical expansion by explaining that these behavior patterns are identified by social exchange theory. The practical implication is that this study confirmed that members in the actual management field are willing to perform unethical pro-organizational behavior in order to achieve the organization's goal efficiently and effectively. Therefore, it is suggested that active efforts should be made to recognize these negative influences and possibilities at the organization level and to create a clean and fair organizational culture and environment that everyone can recognize at the social level.

  • The present study examined how the psychological well-being of young adults was affected by the perceived parental rearing attitudes and how self-concept clarity and the perceptions of emerging adulthood mediated this causal relationship based on Arnett's the theory of emerging adulthood. We specially focused on affectionate or rejective types of perceived parental rearing attitudes and possibility or instability perceptions of emerging adulthood. We performed survey research with 358 university students from six universities located in Seoul, and other cities in South Korea and analyzed collected data using SPSS 25.0 and SPSS Macro. As a result, we found correlational relationships between psychological well-being of emerging adulthood and other variables. Also, we found the mediating effect of the self-concept clarity in the relationship between the psychological well-being and the perceived parental attitudes: affectionate, rejective. However, we only found the mediating effect of the perceived possibility perception of emerging adulthood was significant in the relationship between the psychological well-being and affectionate parental rearing attitudes. Finally, we found a sequential mediation effect that the self-concept clarity and then perceived instability perception of emerging adulthood affected in the relationship between psychological well-being and rejective parental rearing attitudes of emerging adulthood. Based on results, implications and suggestions for counseling service and psychological education for university students faced emerging adulthood were discussed.
