Microscopic hole fabrication of glass using electro-chemical discharge method (전해 방전법에 의한 유리의 미세 구멍 가공)

  • In this paper, we studied on drilling a microscopic hole of glass using electro-chemical discharge methode. In this research, we fabricated a electro-chemical discharge machine for drilling glass hole. The used parameters to get a fine microscopic hole are the concentration of NaOH solution from 5wt% to 50wt%, the supply voltage from 10V to 40V and the fabricating time from 5 second to 50 second. Also, we used a 0.16mm glass plate. We learned from our experiment that, the fabrication most efficient when supply voltage is 25V-30V and concentration of NaOH solution 35wt% or less.

  • In this paper, we developed contact type temperature sensor with single crystal silicon strip thermopile. This sensor consists of 15 p-type single crystal silicon strips, 17 n-types and contact electrodes on silicon dioxide silicon membrane. The result of electromotive force measuring showed very good characteristic as $15.18mV/^{\circ}C$ when temperature difference between the two ends of the thermopile occurs by applying thermal contact on the thermopile which was fabricated with silicon strip of $200{\mu}m$ length, $20{\mu}m$ width, $1{\mu}m$ thickness.

  • In this paper, we fabricated an apparatus of the electro-chemical discharge drilling for boring narrow through-hole into a glass. In the electrolyte, electro-chemical discharge creates high temperature condition by the electro-discharge energy. Therefore, glass are removed by the accelerated chemical reaction with glasses and chemicals in the high temperature condition. For optimization of the electro-chemical discharge drilling, the process condition was studied experimentally as a function of the electrolyte concentration, supply voltage and process time. The optimum condition was from DC25V to DC30V of applied voltage, 35 wt% NaOH solution.

  • In this paper, a high temperature plastic film type water level sensor was developed. The high temperature film type water level sensor was manufactured by attaching a copper film to a polyimide film which can be used for a long time at 250℃, by laminating process and patterning the electrode by etching process. For the performance evaluation of the developed film type water level sensor, the temperature dependence of the capacitance was measured, and the deformation was examined after standing for 8 hours in 150℃ air. The developed film type water level sensor can be used at up to 150℃, and can be applied to electric ports and steam devices.

  • In this paper, we developed a system to monitor the storage capacity of suction-type device such as vacuum cleaner or crop harvesters. The monitoring system consists of load cells and a differential pressure sensor which simultaneously monitor the weight and volume of the stock. Since weighing objects stored in storage containers alone cannot fully monitor the level of filling, more accurate monitoring can be achieved by monitoring volume and fusion with weight information. The volume was monitored using a phenomenon in which the flow rate of the inhaled air varies depending on the volume of the object filled in the storage container. In this paper, we developed a system to monitor the storage in three stages: low, medium and high.
