  • This study was conducted to evaluate a forecast model designed to describe a vocational high school for runaway students. The study included 2000 adolescents from the KEEP(Korean Education and Employment Panel). A Data mining decision tree model revealed that: (1) Suicide ideation was a risk factor for running away among smokers. (2) High self-evaluation was a risk factor for running away among individuals that smoked and had no suicide ideation. (3) Drinking was predicted as a risk factor for no smokers, while family life dissatisfaction was predicted as a risk factor among non-smokers that drank. (4) Negative relationship with mother was predicted as a risk factor among non-drinking non-smoking.

  • Children should be provided with the right to be protected by adults, related organizations, or countries because they lack power, situation recognition ability, and situation judgment ability compared to adults. Also, children's accidents and accidents caused by neglect of management occur every year. Currently, there are about 3 to 20 children managed by one teacher in a daycare center, and it is very difficult for teachers to care for all children as many children have to be managed. Especially, when outdoor activities are conducted in open space, children's activities are expanded compared to the in-house, and children who do not follow the control of the in-house teacher may occur, so there is a limit to the control and management of children depending on the viewpoint of teachers. In this study, we designed and implemented IoT terminal and system to provide safety to children and to provide convenience to guardians and teachers by systemizing the location or interval between children and in-service teachers using portable devices that can communicate with each other. It is hoped that this will contribute to the safety of infants.

  • In the present study, we investigate the protective effect of antioxidant strain Lactobacillus gasseri KACC 91155, isolated from Korean infant feces(Obstetrics & Gynecology, Suwon, Korea) on the oxidative stress damage on the Jurkat T cells. To estimate the extent of cellular lipid peroxidation inhibition, MDA(malondialdehyde) production was measured Furthermore, cell viability was detected by the MTT assay, DNA damage was tested by the comet assay. Cell grown in medium with or without L gasseri lysate$(100\~1,000{\mu}g)$ were treated with $H_2O_2,\;Fe^{2+}$ as an oxidative stimulus. From the result obtained, the supplementation of Jurkat T cells with L. gasseri lysate significantly decreased in MDA production (1,250 vs. 835 nmol/mg protein), and DNA damage(31.6 vs. 22.6 tail moment). Also L gasseri increase cell viability against oxidative damage. We concluded that the L. gasseri KACC 91155 showed a protective effect against oxidative stress.

  • Continue to have an increasingly violent crimes against children every year, and as you know all seriousness is classified as a felony. However, efforts to reduce the underlying crime is low. Therefore, it is necessary to solve this problem, the security system. Is to protect the children and adults that exist that can pose a threat to children to identify and monitor tracking method in this paper. Was based on a Korean standard body size of a person, such as keys, arm length, leg length, head vertical length, head width proposed method. Also, separate the adults and children through the comparison of the reference value, the ratio and the ratio of the number of pixels of the detected object, the proposed method. Processing speed is fast because it detects only a specific object region in the entire image in the handling method in the proposed method the five nine minutes. The advantage is to enable comparison of the specific object, through which there is.

In addition, to improve the Barrier Free, the improvement facilities of the kindergarten were investigated and analyzed. First, from the institutional viewpoint, it is necessary to amend the existing regulations of the Act for the Promotion of the Convenience Promotion of Disabled Persons, Elderly and Pregnant Women in Korea, and to change the facilities for duties and recommended installation of the kindergarten and the Barrier Free certification standards. Second, in order to apply the Barrier Free certification system to the kindergarten in terms of facility environment, it is necessary to activate the barrier kind of the kindergarten so as to receive the Barrier Free certification by lowering the score of the items difficult to improve due to the terrain or building structure. Third, the perception of Barrier Free is still not high in terms of social awareness. The purpose of this study is to investigate the method of creating a Barrier Free for a kindergarten in the education and living space of children who are the socially underprivileged. Therefore, based on this study, it is anticipated that it will be an opportunity to promote change of Barrier Free in Kindergarten if an attempt is made to improve the Barrier Free certification index suitable for public kindergarten.

  • This study was performed in order to assess the risk of pesticide operator in korean rice paddy. The amount of exposure was calculated based on the informations of 48 kind of items that are used the form of a spraying in korean rice paddy. The risks of these pesticides were assessed to compare the exposure dosage with AOEL (acceptable operator exposure level) which was released form developed countries. When the operator spraying pesticides using motor sprayer, 17 items showed the risk for operator if the operator have not worn the personal protective equipment (PPE), and 6 items showed the risk for operator if the operator have worn the PPE. These result were indicated that the risk of pesticide operator was very high in korean rice paddy.

  • For the purpuse of gathering basic information to develop the education program for parent to become educators of young child for sexual abuse(YCSA) self-protection, 298 mothers of 4- to 6-years old children responded to a questionnaire to measure their needs for YCSA self-protection education and knowledge of characteristics related to YCSA. Results related to the needs of mothers showed that 30.4% of them were educated for YCSA protection and 64.6% had provided YCSA self-protection education to their children. However, it was also found that even mothers who had frequently been educated on protection skills regarding YCSA encountered problems as a result of insufficient information and materials concerning YCSA protection education. The mothers in the study subsequently recommended that from age 4 years young children should be educated about YCSA by parents and teachers together. And most of them expected young children to learn some skills to cope with YCSA, with parent education programs for YCSA also recommended by the mothers. Mothers' characteristics such as knowledge about YCSA, myths and stereotypes toward YCSA showed meaningful correlations with mother's demographic variables, not with children's variables. The study concludes that developing the requested parent education program should be done in consideration of parent's needs and characteristics related to the YCSA self-protection.

  • This study was performed in order to assess the risk of korean orchard worker due to pesticide exposure. The amount of pesticide exposure was calculated based on the informations of 97 kind of items that are used the form of a spraying in Korean orchard. The risks of these pesticides were assessed to compare the exposure amount with AOEL (acceptable operator exposure level) which was released form developed countries. When the operator sprayed pesticides using speed sprayer, 74.2% of pesticide items showed the risk for operator if the operator have not worn the personal protective equipment (PPE), and 42.3% of pesticide items showed the risk for operator if the operator have worn the PPE. In case of using motor sprayer, 64.1% of pesticide items showed the risk for operator if the operator have not worn the PPE, and 19.4% of pesticide items showed the risk for operator if the operator have worn the PPE. This result was indicated that the risk of pesticide against the operator was very high in korean orchard operator.

The subjects were 209 kindergarten teachers in G city. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis with SPSS ver. 14.0. The results are as follows: Among the childcare teacher's awareness about children with disabilities human right, awareness of right to survive, right to be protected, right to participate, and right to development had direct effects on their consciousness of social integration. Among the social supports influenced by childcare teacher's awareness of human right, informational support and material support had both direct and indirect effects on their consciousness of social integration. Therefore, as childcare teachers' awareness of human right is an important factor for their consciousness of social integration, a systemic human right education for human right awareness should be provided, the necessity of establishing various social support system should be recognized to foster the social environment of respecting young children's human right, and human right awareness should be practiced into action in daily life, in order to help childcare teachers to develop as the main agents of children's human right.
