  • This study is a descriptive research study that examines the level of terminal care nursing care and the effects on terminal nursing in the internal and external control beliefs of nurses in the nursing geriaic hospital.. The subjects consisted of 442 nurses, and data were collected through structured questionnaires.. The data were analyzed with descriptive that used SPSS WIN 22.0, and AMOS 5.0 statistical program was hypothetical model and path analysis of research hypothesis. As a result, terminal care of geriatric hospital nurses was statininificant to the terminal care stress, fatigue and locus of internal & external control. and the higher the internal control belief, the less stress of the terminal care and the higher the terminal care performance As a result, this study providers a more terminal care performance, It is considered that nursing hospital nurses who develop strategic programs and terminal care nursing will need to provide quality nursing education and work environment improvement.

  • This paper presents a new small target detection method using the cross product of the temporal pixels based on the temporal profile in infrared (IR) image sequences. The temporal characteristics of small targets and the various backgrounds are different. A new algorithm classifies target pixels and the background pixels through the hypothesis testing using the cross product of pixels on the temporal profile and predicts the temporal backgrounds based on the results. The small targets are detected by subtracting the predicted temporal background profile from the original temporal profile. For the performance comparison between the proposed algorithm and the conventional algorithms, the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curves is computed in experiment. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has better discrimination and a lower false alarm rate than the conventional methods.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out what the contribution of medical service design to improve the quality of medical service has contributed to the resolution of medical authority, and to draw the implications necessary to further develop the medical service industry. As a method of research, first, the concept of medical authority was considered and the internal and external factors of medical authority were examined. Second, by examining the cases of medical service design, which resolved the medical emphasis inherent in internal and external factors, the key points and significance of problem solving were analyzed based on the core results. Third, the implications were to form a patient-centered medical culture for respect and dignity for patients, to break up the conventions inside medical staff to dismantle medical authority, and to establish a fair communication system for sharing medical information.

  • The purpose of this study wat to investigate relationships of learning motivation and self-efficacy according to participation in a motivational program for university freshman studying physical education. A total of 66 university freshman participated in the current study and divided into experimental group and control group. Questionnaires were distributed before and after motivational program. Statistical methods used in this study were descriptive analysis, paired t-test, ANOVA, and ANCOVA. The results showed the following. First, There was a significant difference in the external motivation variable of learning motivation of the experimental group. Second, the experimental group showed a statistical difference between pretest and posttest in the confidence variable of self-efficacy. positive attitude influenced on leisure satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the groups of nursing college students according to their work preference, into 4 groups according to their internal and external motivation level and to identify differences in creative leadership and self-efficacy according to group differences. The main research results are as follows. First, four groups(All, INT, EXT, NOT) with different levels of motivation according to work preference showed a significant difference in creative leadership (p<.01). The group with the highest creative leadership was the group with both internal and external motivation high, while the lowest group was the group with both internal and external motives low. Second, the difference of self-efficacy according to work preference type showed significant difference according to the level of internal and external motivation(p<.05). This result shows that creativity has a bipolar structure as studied by Amabile and that external motivations can play a synergistic role in the expression of creativity.

  • Objective: In this study, I explored the difficulties and rewards of the experience of married middle-aged five women with jobs through narrative inquiry. The graduate course work of married women with jobs is accompanied by more difficulties due to the multiple roles of wife, mother, worker, and student. Methods: Data from this study were collected through in-depth interviews. It took 15 weeks from September 1, 2017 to December 20, 2017. Six in - depth interviews were conducted for each of the five participants, and 60 to 120 minutes were required for one meeting. Results: The researchers gathered stories of married middle-aged women who had undergone doctoral studies and divided them into three categories: 'motivation for entry, difficulty during doctoral study, and rewarding during doctoral study'. Conclusion/Implications: This is expected to be a concrete resource for supporting married middle-aged women in doctoral programs.

  • This study aimed to understand the relationship between nurses' rewards and job enthusiasm, using the data from the 5th Korean Working Conditions Survey(2017). The subjects of this study consist of 359 nurses randomly sampled nationwide(218 from youth group, 141 from midddle age group). The effects of intrinsic and extrinsic rewards on job enthusiasm was indentified through GLM analysis. The results reveal that, for the entire group, participation in decision making, sense of achievement, self esteem, career prospects, recognition at work, work-life balance influence job enthusiasm. For the youth group, participation in decision making, sense of achievement, self esteem, career prospects, and work-life balance are the influencing factors; while for the middle age group, sense of achievement, self-esteem, and recognition at work are the influencing factors. In conclusion, we suggest establishing a reward system that incorporates participation in decision making, sense of achievement, self esteem, career prospects, recognition at work, and work-life balance, in order to boost nurses' job enthusiasm. Also, taking age groups into account when establishing such system may improve efficiency.

  • Creativity, one of the core competencies of the 21st century, is required as an essential item for members of society. Emphasizes its ability in terms of personality that allows it to be used in the desired direction. However, creativity is considered to contribute to positive change in the organization, not only in creating new ideas or products, but also in adapting to a changing environment and solving problems. Accordingly, by reviewing previous studies, it was concluded that rewards can promote or hinder creativity, which may vary depending on the nature of rewards, the concept of creativity possessed by the researcher, individual differences, and external environment. We also proposed that rewards may influence creativity through motivational, cognitive, and synthetic functions. Based on the analysis, a specific model was proposed for the effect of reward on creativity. This study is based on existing research and analyzed various factors and mechanisms acting in the process of influencing creativity based on comparison of which extrinsic and intrinsic motivations have what kind of relationship. Next, it appears that rewards differ from person to person according to the way they are given in environmental circumstances. Finally, by rewarding various types of creative tasks, an active reward role can be secured.

  • Analyzing and predicting foreign tourists' demand is a crucial research topic in the tourism industry because it profoundly influences establishing and planning tourism policies. Since foreign tourist data is influenced by various external factors, it has a characteristic that there are many subtle changes over time. Therefore, in recent years, research is being conducted to design a prediction model by reflecting various external factors such as economic variables to predict the demand for tourists inbound. However, the regression analysis model and the recurrent neural network model, mainly used for time series prediction, did not show good performance in time series prediction reflecting various variables. Therefore, we design a foreign tourist demand prediction model that complements these limitations using a convolutional neural network. In this paper, we propose a model that predicts foreign tourists' demand by designing a one-dimensional convolutional neural network that reflects foreign tourist data for the past ten years provided by the Korea Tourism Organization and additionally collected external factors as input variables.

  • This study is a descriptive research study conducted to identify evaluative concerns perfectionism, entrapment and depression in university nursing students, and to identify the factors influencing depression. The subjects of the research were students enrolled in two major departments in G city. Statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and band regression analysis were used for data analysis. Research results indicated that the factors influencing depression to university nursing students were external constraints (β=.414, p<.001) and socially imposed perfectionism (β=.174, p<.001), and these explained 24.9% of the subject's degree of depression. In particular, it was found that external Entrapment had the greatest effect by 22.7%. Therefore, based on the results of this research analysis, it is recommended to develop and manage various extracurricular programs that can reduce the external entrapment and socially imposed perfectionism so that depression can be managed, reduced and prevented depression of university nursing students at an early stage.
