  • 이 연구는 우리나라 해기사의 선상 의사소통 능력을 제고하기 위한 방안과 정책을 제안함으로서 국내 해기인력의 일자리 창출 및 해양사고 예방에 기여하는 것이 목적이며, 선상 의사소통 능력의 제고를 위하여 해사 직무영어 교육용 교재의 개발 계획, 온 오프라인용 컨텐츠 개발 보급 계획, 해사 영어능력의 다면 평가 및 인증을 위한 해사영어 구술시험 개발 및 시행 계획 및 해기사 면허시험의 영어구술평가의 도입 방안 등의 기본계획과 그 표본을 개발하고자 하는 것이다. 이와 같은 연구의 필요성을 식별하기 위하여 해기사 양성교육기관의 재학생과 교원, 승선 중인 해기사와 육상 근무 중인 해기사 등을 대상으로 선내의사소통 현황, 해사영어교육에 대한 현황과 개선 방향, 해사영어 교육과 평가방안 등에 관한 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과의 요약이다.

  • 현재 대학은 온오프라인 경계가 무너지고 있다. 온라인을 통한 지식공유 활용이 활발해지고 정보기술의 발달에 따라 서서히 사이버대학으로 전환될 전망이다. 거기에 대학을 졸업한 인력들이 사이버대학으로 U턴하는 현상이 두드러지고 있다. 사이버대학의 가장 큰 장점은 시간과 공간에 구애 받지 않고 학습할 수 있다는 점이다. 하지만 사이버대학의 학습평가 방법은 많은 약점을 드러내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사이버대학의 평가방법중 주관식유형의 평가시스템을 제안한다.

  • 전 세계적인 주목을 받기 시작한 한류 콘텐츠의 확산으로 한국어 교육에 대한 수요가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있는 상황에서 효과적인 한국어 학습용 기능성 게임에 대한 가능성이 주목 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 교육의 진입 과정에 해당 될 수 있는 한글을 게임 통해 학습하고 익숙해지는 경험을 제공할 수 있는 한글 학습 RPG '단어수집가'개발을 기획하고 해당 게임의 프로토타입을 개발한다. 제안 게임의 주인공은 가상의 공간에서의 체험을 통해 한글의 자음과 모음을 게임 아이템으로 획득하고 이를 조합하여 한글 단어를 합성하여 이를 게임에 활용하는 구조를 가지도록 설계되었고, 전체 게임 시나리오의 학습 적합성과 재미 요소들의 점검을 위해 실제 기획 의 핵심 내용을 적용한 프로토타입을 활용한다. 또한 본 게임에서 기획된 한글 학습용 게임은 미국 워싱턴에 위치한 조지워싱턴대학교에서 발행하는 미국인 대상의 한국어 교재와 스토리 등을 연동하여 온오프라인 연계 한글 교육 실현을 목표로 한다.

  • In recent years, the multilevel inverter synthesizing the output voltage with step pulse has been widely used rather than PWM method as a solution for high power and high voltage applications. This method takes advantage of lower switching losses due to one switching for one period. This paper proposes a simple method to obtain the conducting angle. This method is implemented by using voltage-second areas of the divided reference voltage according to the output voltage levels. It Is possible to reduce an amount of calculation because it is not required to solve the simultaneous equations by an iterative method. Also, the proposed method can get the conducting angle by means of on-line.

An Study of Operational Strategy for Special Libraries on Social Network Service (SNS) (전문도서관의 소셜네트워크서비스 운영방안 연구 - 해양과학도서관 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • This study proposes a customized SNS operational strategy for special libraries based on a case study on the Ocean Science Library (OSL) of South Korea. The study conducted an in-depth analysis on an organizational structure, manpower, contents, and promotion. The outcome of SNS operational strategy deducted from this study can be categorized into several items, including: (1) a selection of an appropriate SNS channel, which meets the objective of the operation; (2) a formal division of works for SNS operation; (3) a designation of full-time managers and an establishment of a task force team; (4) a specialization of contents according to specific subjects; (5) on/off-line promotions focused on events, which encourage participations; (6) an improvement of contents through regular log analyses; and (7) a promotion of library website access through SNS, and so on. This research also suggested the strategies for the development of SNS operation: strengthening of communication and cooperation among librarians; distribution of academic and research outcomes of the umbrella organization; enhancement of a role as a communication channel between librarians and users, and carry out a role as a 'social curator.'

The Effects of Information Competency of People with Disabilities on Life Satisfaction : Mediating Effects of Social Capital (장애인의 정보화 역량이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향: 사회적 자본의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to elaborate the underlying mechanism by which information competency of those with disabilities influences their level of life satisfaction through a mediator, social capital built up through online and offline activities. To this end, the research conducts mediation analysis, comprised of three sets of regression by using the data of the "2018 Report on the Digital Divide." The results demonstrate that the information competency of those with disabilities has a significant effect on their level of life satisfaction; the higher the information competency, the greater the social capital. In addition, social capital partially mediates the relationship between information competency and life satisfaction. The policy implications from this study indicate that the efforts to improve information competency of those with disabilities should be made in a way that facilitates social interactions and community participation.

  • Stock information applications allow users to look up and find current stock information whenever and wherever. This study researched what kind of user experience the finance experts get when using these applications and what they suggest. The research was conducted through an in-depth interview of 8 finance experts, who worked minimum of three years, and used both Kakao Stock and JeungGwon Tong, the most used stock information applications, for a minimum duration of six months. The results show the user experience of Kakao Stock rated a bit higher than JeungGwon Tong. Since the objective of such applications are to show stock informations, the experts all rated the pleasurable and meaningful aspects rather low. They suggested, the developers should provide a more advanced and accurate information. They also suggested user interest recognized content be presented along with more convenient user interface to elevate usability. Hopefully, this study becomes a base to further study of user experience of various on and offline stock information services and they become a reference to develop a service with great user experience.

  • In ubiquitous environment, the analysis for student's learning behaviour is essential to provide students with personalized education. SCORM(Sharable Contents Object Reference Model), IMS LD (Instructional Management System Learning Design) standards provide the support function of learning design such as checking the progress. However, in case of applying these standards contain many problem to add or modify the contents. In this paper, We implement the system that manages the learner behaviour by hooking the event of web browser. Through all of this, HTML-based content can be recycled without any additional works and the problems by applying the standard can be improved because the store and analysis of the learning result is possible. It also supports the ubiquitous learning environment because of keeping track of the learning result in case of network disconnected.

Analysis of Netflix and Hulu for Online Video Content Distributors' Business Model Comparison in N-Screen Era (N스크린 시대 온라인 비디오 콘텐츠 유통 비즈니스 모델 비교를 위한 넷플릭스(Netflix)와 훌루(Hulu) 연구)

  • The number of online video content distributors are rapidly increasing in N-screen environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the business model of these distributors, especially Netflix and Hulu. Basis on STOF model, environmental domain, service domain, organization domain and financial domain of each company are analyzed and compared. This study finds that each company's business model had distinct characters in earlier stage. Netflix offered online and offline service in low cost, while Hulu offered up-to-date TV contents without fees. However, two companies' business models are getting similar. The result of this study shows that highly competitive environment and increasing content budget affect two companies to adopt similar business model to survive.

  • There are relatively inactive discussions about applying ubiquitous technology (uT) to traditional marketplace. If u-Market which affords to promote customer shopping convenience and on/offline shopping experience is implemented, then traffic of visiting customers as well as the revenue of the market will increase. Ultimately, it will lead to revitalizing traditional market. For this purpose, we developed a realistic u-Market service scenario with restricted uT considering spatial limitation and poor infrastructure of the physical marketplace. Based on u-Market service scenario, we have empirically investigated the determinants of u-Market service acceptance of the actual customers of traditional marketplace. We hope the results of this study will help in improvement of u-Market system development and service feasibility.
