This study aims at analyzing 6 OECD countries' (Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Norway, England, South Korea) national early childhood care and education curriculum (framework) based on the perspectives of its implementation. Its design and development always focus on how the national early childhood education and care curriculum will be applied in the early childhood settings in a correct and faithful way. As a result, teachers are considered the user or deliverer of the national curriculum rather than the one who interprets it and construct their own curriculum in accordance with their students. Five OECD countries which have achieved an integrated system between early education and care systems, take the constructive view of designing and applying the national curriculum. Accordingly, a national early childhood education and care curriculum within an integrated system should be developed in Korea, in order to accept the constructive view of curriculum development and application.

This study aims to enhance child care teachers' ability to offer health care by developing an educational program for children's health care and safety. This study was carried out using a one-group pretest-posttest design based on a survey of 400 child care teachers in 3 cities. The educational program for child care teachers consisted of three parts: child health observations, disease management for child and emergency care for children. The educational program was conducted 3 times for 3 hours, totaling 9 hours. The educational program showed better grades of child care teachers in child health observation, emergency care for children, and disease management for children. The finding indicates that more child care teachers will adopt a health care education program to improve the quality of child care service.

In this paper, care-giving teachers' recognition of their activities to increase infants and children's rights respect were studied, and teachers' required actions to enhance infants and children's rights respect were analogized. To conduct this survey, focus group interviews were done for 2 groups' care-giving teachers: each group was constructed with 6 teachers. In care-giving teachers' daily work, respected or non-respected various cases on their infants and children's rights respect were intensively reviewed. From this result, total 12 sub categories and detail 40 items were extracted as care-giving teachers' required activities to activate infants and children's rights respect. The aforementioned teachers' activities must be conducted as top priority at their care-giving activities for infants and children's rights respect.

This study examined the influence of child care teachers' playfulness on teacher-child interactions. The mediating influence of the teacher's efficacy on these relationships was also examined. The study subjects were 293 child care teachers in Busan and Gyeongnam. The collected data were analyzed with a structural equation model to verify the structures and paths among the variables overall. The results were as follows. First, teachers' playfulness directly affected the teacher-child interactions. Second, the teacher's efficacy had a direct effect on the teacher-child interactions. Third, teachers' playfulness not only influenced the teacher-child interactions directly but also influenced teacher-child interactions through the teacher's efficacy. The study concludes with a discussion of the implications of the influence of child care teachers' playfulness on teacher-child interactions mediated by the teacher's efficacy.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of childcare teachers' teacher efficacy, psychological burnout and the practice of respecting rights for infants. Methods: For this study, questionnaires were distributed to 398 childcare teachers in the cities of I and S. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistic, multiple regression and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability by SPSS-WIN computer program. Results: The results yielded some interesting results. First, childcare teachers were shown to have higher respecting rights for infants but just average teacher efficacy rates. Secondly, the study showed a positive correlation between the practice of respecting rights for infants and childcare teachers' teacher efficacy. However, there was a negative correlation between the practice of respecting rights for infants and psychological burnout. There was also a negative correlation between the practice of respecting rights for infants and childcare teachers' teacher efficacy. Third, the higher the childcare teachers' teacher efficacy of childcare teachers, the more positive influences existed in the practice of respecting rights for infants. It also showed that the lower the degree of psychological burnout, there was a negative impact on the practice of respecting rights for infants. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study suggest that a support plan is needed to boost childcare teachers' teacher efficacy, and to lower the psychological burnout of childcare teachers with regards to the practice of respecting rights for infants.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relations between the childcare teacher's intrapersonal intelligence and the childcare of infant's right respects, and examine the mediating effect of the childcare teacher's professionality in the relationship between them. Methods: For this study, questionnaires were distributed to 351 childcare teachers in the city of J. The collected date were analyzed by descriptive statistic, multiple regression and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability by SPSS 24.0 program. Results: The results are as following. First, the childcare teacher's intrapersonal intelligence, the childcare of infant's right respects, professionality showed a significant positive relation. Second, the partial mediating effect of the professionality in the relationship between the childcare teacher's intrapersonal intelligence and the childcare of infant's right respects. It was confirmed that the interpersonal intelligence had a positive effect on the childcare of infant's right respects and the professionality a mediating variable. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study suggest that a support plan is needed to boost childcare teacher's intrapersonal intelligence and the professionality with regards to the childcare of infant's right.

본 논문은 영유아 건강관리를 위해 보육교사들이 어떠한 경로를 이용해 건강정보를 찾아보고 있는지를 파악하고 영유아 건강관리를 위해 필요한 정보가 무엇인지를 확인하고자 한다. 선행연구에서 사용한 도구를 본 연구 목적에 맞게 수정한 후 전문가 검증과 예비조사를 토대로 설문지를 구성하였으며 지역편중을 배제하기 위해 두 개 시에서 편의추출로 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과 대다수의 보육교사가 인터넷을 통해 영유아 건강정보를 찾고 있으며 건강정보에 대한 요구가 매우 높고 특히 응급처치와 전염성질환관리에 대한 요구도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to provide practical data to effectively implement day care that respects the rights of infants in day care centers by investigating the relationship between private day care center teachers' empowerment, job satisfaction, infant's right respect care, and examining the influence of empowerment and job satisfaction of private day care center teachers on Infant's right respect care. Methods: The 228 day care teachers who work in private daycare centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province were the investigated subjects. For the analysis of questionnaire, frequency, percentage, reliability, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and regression were used as SPSSWIN 20.0 program. Results: First, the difference of empowerment according to the individual variables of teachers was different to career, monthly salary, marital status, and turnover intentions. The difference of job satisfaction according to personal variables showed difference to age, career, marital status, type of work organization, and number of teachers and classes. There was a difference in infant's right respect care to age and marital status. Second, in the relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction and between empowerment and infant's right respect care, there was a positive correlation. The relationship between job satisfaction and infant's right respect care showed there is a positive correlation between infant's right respect care and all other factors except for the pay and promotion factors of job satisfaction. Third, Expert extension, autonomy, fellow relationship and job self have a positive influence on infant's right respect care. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests that specific efforts should be made at the daycare center to raise the level of expertise and autonomy of private daycare teachers and to give satisfaction to their fellow relationship and their job self factors to effectively implement infant's right respect care.

The objective of this study is to investigate the meaning of children perceived by pre-service childcare teachers through metaphor analysis. To this end, data were collected from a group of 288 pre-service childcare teachers majoring in childcare at a university in Gyeonggi-do from the 4th week of May until the 2nd week of June 2021. As a result of the study, the meaning of children was categorized into 'being in need of care,' 'being affected by the environment,' 'being with personality,' 'precious and invaluable being,' 'being giving joy,' 'being who will lead the future,' 'pure and innocent being,' and 'being who develops teachers and parents.' Pre-service teachers showed the highest tendency to perceive children as 'beings in need of care' among the eight categories. The metaphorical expressions, 'sprout,' 'seed,' 'flower,' 'canvas,' 'sponge,' and 'mirror,' in descending order of frequency, were most commonly used among 138 metaphorical expressions. The findings of this study are expected to broaden the understanding of the pre-service teachers' perception of children and provide preliminary data for qualitative support and improvement plans for training pre-service childcare teachers in the future.

The childcare scpace environment greatly affects the growth and development of infant and toddler. Building a comfortable space environment is considered a great social task. Through this study, the current guidelines can be expanded and supplemented by comparatively analyzing the childcare space environment of domestic and foreign guidelines. An integrated guideline with additional suggestions for universal design, scale, dimensions, environment, and finishing materials was derived.
