  • This research focused on the major determinants for the technology roadmap utilization of the R&D project after the adoption of the technology roadmap in the R&D intensive organization. The study was performed based on both theoretical study and qualitative case study approaches. The results of this study are summarized as in cases where the R&D project team has higher organizational capability - specifically, relation and research capability, even more technology roadmap is used. In terms of the needs of times, this study regarding the technology roadmap utilization is anticipated to be a good reference for the R&D-oriented organizations and technology-related studies in coming years.

Influence of Critical Thinking and Empathy on Resilience of Senior Nursing Students (졸업학년 간호대학생의 비판적 사고 성향과 공감역량이 회복 탄력성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is a descriptive research study to investigate the effects of critical thinking and empathy on resilience of nursing students. The subjects of this study were 234 nursing students in the 4th grade and the data were collected from June 3 to 19, 2019. Data was processed by descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression method. As a result of the study, critical thinking and empathy showed a significant positive relationship with resilience. Critical thinking and empathy were factors that influence the resilience of nursing students and the resilience was explained as 70.3%. Therefore, in order to increase the resilience of nursing students it is considered that an education program that strengthens internal factors can cultivate critical thinking and empathy skills is necessary.

A Strategy Model for Strengthening Knowledge Creation Capabilities of Korean Foreign Subsidiaries (한국기업 해외자회사의 지식창출 역량 강화를 위한 전략모형)

  • Multinational enterprises(MNEs) try to strengthen their global innovative capabilities by incorporating the foreign subsidiaries' knowledge bases. Foreign subsidiaries play an important role in MNEs' knowledge creation activities. This study develops a strategy model that strengthening the knowledge creation capabilities of Korean firms' foreign subsidiaries. Four strengthening strategy types are derived from three research areas related with center of excellence, subsidiary strategic roles, and knowledge creation capabilities. The strategies that strengthen knowledge creation capabilities are including organizational culture and autonomy reinforcing strategy, subsidiary's absorptive capacity reinforcing strategy, local environment management strategy, and network building strategy. Strategic fit conditions which support the success of each strategy type are also discussed.

Relative Importance of Executive Competency Factors of SMEs and Venture Firms in Credit Evaluation (신용평가에서 중소벤처기업 경영자 역량 요인의 상대적 중요도에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to provide a method to increase the credit rating of the company by examining and managing the executive competency of the CEO of SMEs and Venture Firms. We analyzed the importance and priority of AHP by surveying bank loan staff and CEOs. According to the analysis results, ethics management, strategic thinking, and expertise level were the highest in the relative importance of bank loan staff. The relative importance of CEOs was higher in order of marketing, bank transaction reliability, and financing. Result of this study is similar to the relative importance of the previous research. This study suggests to disclosing credit rating system and reflect the opinions of the CEO in order to protect financial consumers. The significance of this study is to present the factors and the importance that can help to develop advanced models.

  • 국내외 주요 연구내용들을 정리해 보면 창업보육센터(BI: Business Incubator)의 실태조사를 통한 활성화 및 발전방안에 대한 연구와 BI의 성공요인으로서 매니저의 역량에 대한 연구가 주류를 이루고 있다. 이 중에서 BI 매니저의 역할과 자질에 대한 탐색적 그리고 학술적 논의가 이루어지고 있으나 BI 매니저에 대한 입주업체의 요구역량과 실제 보육역량을 비교 분석한 선행연구가 없었다. 본 논문은 BI 매니저의 보육역량과 입주기업이 요구하는 필요역량을 비교 분석하여 BI에서 근무하는 매니저의 역량을 강화하기 위한 운영정책 내지는 교육프로그램에 반영하고자 한다.

A Study on Impact of Inter-organizational Trust, Commitment and Firm Capability to Research Cooperation Performance (조직간 신뢰, 몰입과 기업 역량이 연구개발협력 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • As research cooperation was increased nowadays, This study seeks to explores the performance determinants of research cooperation. Toward this end, this study is focused on generating such determinants as interfirm trust, commitment and corporate capability based on previous studies and existing literature. We define openness, management ability and consideration as sub-variable of interfirm trust, corporate capability was composed of R&D capability, financial capability, management capability and absorptive capacity. Commitment had no sub-variable. Also, this study was composed of two dependent variables, aiming to explore differential performance of research cooperation. Results of the empirical analyses are as follows. First, corporate capability was significant impact on research cooperation. Second, interfirm trust and commitment was not significant to research cooperation. Finally, performance differentiation between two dependent variable was not proved in this study.

Convergence Factors Influencing Clinical Reasoning Competency of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 임상적 추론 역량에 미치는 융합적 영향요인)

  • In this study, an attempt was made to investigate the clinical reasoning of nursing students and to identify the factors that influence it. This study was held to grasp the learning ability related to core nursing competency for 297 3rd and 4rd grade nursing students. Results indicated that there was a significant difference when comparing clinical competence by grade(p=0.001). Also variables effecting clinical reasoning competence were Problem solving ability, Clinical Decision making ability, Clinical practice performance, and grade of nursing students were found to be significant (p,.001). Outcome of this study can be used as the basis for the development of various curriculums to enhance the clinical reasoning competence, in the future, research for this education development is expected to be needed.

The Influence of Empathy and Communicative Competence on Cultural Competence in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 공감능력과 의사소통능력이 문화적 역량에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between empathy, communicative competence, and cultural competence among nursing students and investigate the factors influencing cultural competence. The subjects of the study consisted of 173 nursing students. Data were analyzed based on Pearson's correlations, and multiple regressions using the SPSS 18.0 program. The mean value of cultural competence was 3.44, showing significant positive correlations with empathy(r=.450, p<.001) and communicative competence(r=.579, p<.001) in nursing students. Empathy, communicative competence and foreign language skill accounted for 37.1% of the total variance in cultural competence among nursing students. Overall cultural competence can be improved by empathy, communicative competence enhancement program.

An Analysis on the Educational Needs of College Faculty: A College Case (전문대학 교수의 교육요구도 분석: A대학 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to elicit the competencies of college faculties and their educational needs depending on the careers. 110 full-time professors from A college in Gyeonggi-do participated in this study from November 27 to December 7, 2018. The findings are that competencies of college faculties were found as 10 teaching competencies and 7 general competencies, and most of the competencies showed differences in importance and performance. In addition, according to the t-test and Borich needs analysis, there were differences in the educational needs of faculties depending on the three careers: a group with less than five years of experience, a group with six to ten years of experience, and a group with more than 11 years of experience. The results of this study suggest the systematic education and training program to improve the competencies of college faculties are necessary and show designing a concrete road map and training manual is needed.

The Effect of Corporate Competency on Smart Factory Acceptance Intention and Management Performance -moderating effect of regional characteristics- (기업역량이 스마트 팩토리 수용의도 및 경영성과에 미치는 영향 -지역특성을 조절변수로-)

  • This study confirms the impact relationship between the president and employee competency related to smart factory construction of manufacturing SMEs, the acceptance intention and management performance in smart factory construction. The 310 data collected through a questionnaire were tested for research hypotheses through SEM. As a result, the president and employee competency affects the smart factory acceptance intention and the employee competency affects the management performance. Acceptance intention has a positive impact on management performance. Regional characteristics have a moderating effect on the relationship between president competency, acceptance intention, and management performance. Through this study, it was confirmed that the president and employee competency was an important factor in smart factory built.
