A Study of Telegraph Lever Control System for a ship Propulsion Thruster System Operation (선박 추진제어 운용을 위한 속도전달장치 구현에 관한 연구)

  • A ship propulsion thruster platform which is used by safety sailing takes charge of remote control of a main engine in ship. This system not only guarantees safety and reliable flight sailing but also require remote control technology of a ship. Accordingly, in this paper it deals with a telegraph lever control unit system which is a part of propulsion thruster system as localization technology. Also it makes sure of knowledge and core technology through analysis and designing and developing a telegraph lever control unit system. Moreover, it is sure of acquisition of base technology for integration of a ship propulsion thruster platform.

  • In this paper, to achieve consistency maintenance as well as stable service execution, we build a Fault-Tolerant Object Group framework that provides both of the group management service and the load scheduling service. The group management service supports the object management such as registration and authentication, and provides two schemes for failure recovery using the service priority and the checkpointing. In the load scheduling servile, we improve the effectiveness of service execution through the reasoning process of object loads based on the ANFIS architecture. The effectiveness in the performance of the developed framework is validated through a virtual home-network simulation based on the FTOG framework.

  • A new application area in which wireless sensor networks are applied requires the performance of more elaborated and complicated task and the completion of those tasks within a time limit. Until now, it is, however, insufficient to do research on the mechanism of handling interrupt based on real-time sensor operating systems which carefully consider the limitation of resources of sensor nodes and the property of tasks which is executed in a wireless sensor network area. In this paper, the requirements satisfying real-time in sensor operating systems are analyzed and based on this, a system is designed and implemented. In addition, the proposed mechanisms are confirmed by several verification methods, and the efficiency of the performance and the satisfaction of those requirements for real-time are verified by simulation.

  • RtMLF (Routable Molded Lead Frame) based on molded substrate has been developed to maximize advantages of both leadframe product which has high thermal and electrical performance and laminate product which accommodates more I/O count and keeps fan-in/fan-out design flexibility. Due to its structural features, RtMLF provided excellent thermal and electrical performance which was confirmed with simulation. The RtMLF samples were manufactured and its reliability analysis was done to evaluate the opportunities of the production and application.

  • The Internet is aggregate of trustless networks essentially. Because the Internet is very difficult to control flowing of information, taking advantage of enough sporadic resource, security problem that can protect internal important stock from the Internet is risen seriously. Recently, virus accident and generation rate about system intrusion that happen become much higher and various than past. On these time, is progressing researcher for invasion cutout to keep away illegal act vigorouslyand do continuous development. In this paper, reporting administrator log information about invader's illegal act depending on XML format form, and I wished to solve problem that happen in administration side developing invasion interception system that can control to remote.

  • This paper introduces a new DC-DC voltage multiplier using a Dickson's charge pump and a modified voltage doubler. The voltage obtained from a conventional Dickson's chrage pump was reused for accelerating the voltage multiplication and the architecture of the proposed voltage multiplier would not decrease the device reliability of DMOS. The proposed 6-stage voltage multiplier generates about 33V with 3V voltage source. To evaluate the proposed voltage multiplier, simulations were performed with Magna DMOS technology. The simulated voltage multiplication agrees well with a theoretical value, therefore, this paper introduces a new fast voltage multiplier with minimum devices.

  • This research provides the solution of defect problem and detection of defect and its causes that happen on software development. For developing a reliable software, a key factor is to find and manage defects that are during software development. Based on defect items analysis, we understand associated relation between defects and design defect opportunity tree. Developing the similar project, we can estimate defect and prepare to solve defect by using defect management opportunity tree.

  • In this paper, a new method for constrained optimization of noisy functions is proposed. In approximate optimization using response surface methods, if constraints have severe noise, the approximate feasible region defined by approximate constraints is apt to include some of the infeasible region defined by actual constraints. This can cause the approximate optimum to converge into the infeasible region. In the proposed method, the approximate optimization is performed with the approximate constraints shifted by their deviations, which are calculated using a diagonal quadratic response surface method. This can prevent the approximate optimum from converging into the infeasible region. To fit the objective and constraints into diagonal quadratic models, we select the center and 4 additional points along each axis of design variables as experimental points. The deviation of each function is calculated using the differences between the real and approximate function values at the experimental points. A sequential approximate optimization technique based on the trust region algorithm is adopted to manage approximate models. The proposed approach is validated by solving some design problems. The results of the problems show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • For the treatment of regulatory clearance of the soils, a procedure for the radionuclides and radioactivity concentration analysis is under development. A strategy for soil sampling including random sampling after homogenization and standardization was set up. Statistical representativeness is considered for not only sampling strategy but also sample size. In this study, designed sample size was designed with confidence interval and error bound of soil using the pilot samples which were taken following the sampling strategy.

  • In this paper, a fast and reliable emergency broadcasting system for Advanced Television System Committee (ATSC) Mobile DTV is proposed. The proposed protocol is based on the Emergency Alert Message (EAM) standard currently used for cable TV emergency broadcasting in the United States. The protocol is implemented and evaluated to enable fast emergency information propagation. ATSC Mobile DTV enables digital mobile broadcasting without affecting the existing ATSC legacy digital TV system. Since ATSC Mobile DTV devices are mobile and self-powered, they can effectively propagate emergency information. The proposed emergency broadcasting protocol can be applied in all countries adopting the ATSC standard.
