An Investigation on the Historical Developments of the Algorithms for Multiplication of Natural Numbers (자연수 곱셈 계산법의 역사적 발달 과정에 대한 고찰)

  • In this paper I investigated the historical developments of the algorithms for multiplication of natural numbers. Through this analysis I tried to describe more concretely what is to understand the common algorithm for multiplication of natural numbers. I found that decomposing dividends and divisors into small numbers and multiplying these numbers is the main strategy for carrying out multiplication of large numbers, and two decomposing and multiplying processes are very important in the algorithms for multiplication. Finally I proposed some implications based on these analysis.

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the computer education experience of high school graduates that were taught under the 7th curriculum and present insight into the making of required computer course for college. To achieve this purpose questionnaires were given to college freshmen to fill out about computer education performed not only during middle school, but also outside of the classroom. For suggestions towards computer courses for college students, how students are being taught the use of computers, how students are using computers, and how the computer proficiency of the students were assessed. Considering the results of the analysis of computer education experiences, this study suggests a guiding principle in freshmen's computer education.

Comparative Study on Qualification System of Competency Assessor in Australia and Scotland (스코틀랜드와 호주의 NCS기반 직무능력평가자(Competency Assessor) 자격제도에 관한 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the qualification system of competency assessor based NCS(National Skill Standards) in Australia and Scotland. To meet the purpose of the study, the characteristics of competency based assessment and the role of assessor was reviewed, and competency assessor qualification system of both countries were analysed. Australia and Scotland have developed the certification system of competency assessor based on national qualification framework. Education and Training Institutes in both countries should meet the requirement of RTOs(Registered Training Organizations) and CRBs(Credit Rating Body), which can develop and operate assessor qualification course based NQF. Also they must ensure all assessors are qualified with competency, currency and professional development and show how they have maintained, upgraded or developed new skills relevant to the current industry needs. In recent years, Korea has been introduced competency based curriculum linked with NCS in education and training sector. Also the introduction of competency assessor qualification system are currently under consideration by government. In this circumstances, the results of comparative analysis about Australia and Scotland can help the Korean government review the policies and strategies qualifying competency assessor. They also provide some implications for exploring and examining assessor qualification system based NCS and KQF(Korean Qualification Framework) in Korea.

A Comparative Study on 2011 Reformed Elementary School Mathematics Curriculum Between Korea and China (2011년 발표된 한국과 중국의 초등학교 수학과 교육과정 비교 분석)

  • This study is a comparative study on the Korean and Chinese elementary school mathematics curriculum. Korea and China have announced a new mathematics curriculum in 2011, and have recently carried out in the whole school year. Korea and China are the countries to manage the national curriculum. The comparison with China is significant because of the similarity of our tradition and culture. In addition, the influence of Chinese education has been increasing gradually. Thus, the curriculum comparison between China and Korea has a significant value. Through this study, I extract the significant implications of mathematics education in Korea. This study can be summarized as the following. First, I have analyzed the elementary mathematics curriculum document systems in Korea and China. Second, I compared the goals of mathematics education in Korea and China. Third, this study compared the content areas and learning in elementary school mathematics curriculum in Korea and China. Fourth, I have analyzed the teaching and learning methods and the assessment of Korea and China. Finally, we compared and analyzed the proposed points for action set out in elementary school mathematics curriculum courses in Korea and China. The results of this study are expected to provide significant implications for the new curriculum document structure and mathematical contents of Korea.

  • 한글 필기행동에서 나타나는 실수들을 분석하였다. 단어이하의 수준에서 오철(spelling error)와 오기(slips of the pen)가 관찰되었다. 오철은 부분적인 철자지식에 기인하는 것으로, 음소를 철자로 변환하는 과정에 영향을 받는 것임을 시사하는 사례가 발견되었다. 오기에는 지속 예기 생략 등이 있었으며, 철자정보를 운동패턴으로 변환하는 과정에서 나타나는 것 같았다. 또한 획과 관련된 실수들도 발견되었다. 전반적으로 필기과정에는 발음관련정보의 영향이 큰 것을 부정할 수 없었다.

기업부패 과정에 대한 시스템다이내믹스 접근:퍼컬레이션 모형을 중심으로

  • 본 연구에서는 기업 부패를 인과론적인 시각에서 벗어나, 총체적이고 시스템적인 관점에서 고찰하였다. 특히 기업 부패가 기업 환경 전반에 시스템적으로 만연하여 제도화되어가는 과정을 시스템다이내믹스를 통해서 탐구하였다. 기업 부패 과정에 대한 시스템다이내믹스 모형은 주인과 대리인의 양자관계에서 나타날 수 있는 부패 전이와 통제의 복합적 역학관계를 중심으로 구성되었고, 확산 과정을 설명하기 위해서 퍼컬레이션 규칙을 도입하였다. 그리고 양자관계에 의한 시스템다이내믹스 모형을 격자구조로 확장하여 퍼컬레이션 과정을 모형화하였다. 본 연구모형의 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 첫째, 시스템적으로 만연되어 있는 부패의 형성 및 발전과정을 다이내믹스로 나타내고, 둘째, 이러한 부패 과정의 다이내믹스를 통해서 기업 부패 과정을 4가지 구조적 유형으로 설명하며, 셋째, 부패는 제도화를 통해서 다시 미인식의 영역으로 순환하게 되면서 사회전반적인 불신으로 정착하게 됨을 설명함으로써, 기업 부패 과정에 대한 이론적 함의뿐만 아니라 정책적인 시사점을 도출하였다.

Setting Priorities by Computer Science Area Through Quantification of CS2013 Knowledge Area (CS2013 지식영역의 계량화를 통한 컴퓨터과학 영역별 우선순위 설정)

  • Countries that considered importance of the quality management of higher education are strengthening through various systems and methods. Field of computer science also, they have constantly made efforts, such as constituting standards of curriculum for the management of the quality of higher education. If we know the priorities of the knowledge area mentioned in the standard of curriculum of computer science, we can give implications to the composition of the content system. Therefore, we derive the ranking based on base on CS2013 the lesson time number of Tier 1, Tier 2, Elective, and detail areas for content elements. As a result, the knowledge area with the highest priority was Software Development Fundamentals. The knowledge area is recommended as a beginner course in CS2013 because it is a basic element. The priorities of these areas may provide implications for future elementary and secondary informatics curriculum, higher liberal arts informatics curriculum, Informatics curriculum of teacher training agency.

A Study on Mathematics Exams for University Entrance in Taiwan (대만의 대학입학시험 수학 문항 분석)

  • Current Mathematics of CSAT(College Scholastic Ability Test) faced with preparing the test system and test items according to the new curriculum. The discuss about how to construct the items and what form of items should be set was not conducted enough. To accord with these requirements, in this study, mathematics exams for university entrance in Taiwan are investigated. We look into General Scholastic Ability Test(GSAT) and Advanced Subjects Test(AST) in Taiwan. Those exams are analyzed in terms of exam system, mathematical contents, types of items, and so on. And then on the basis of this, we discuss implications on mathematics assessment type and contents, further mathematics learning.

  • Through importance and achievement analysis of participating students in Youth employment academy, 'webtoon specialist education course', the purpose of this study is to derive implications for invigorating webtoon specialist education course. The result of importance and achievement analysis is as follows. First, participating students consider that education course is important for them, express high satisfaction. Second, participating students consider that education infrastructure is important, so need to upgrade. Third, Communication is not important factor, participating students are satisfied with communication. Fourth, employment rate is not important factor, participating students are lowly satisfied with employment rate. Because major participating students are sophomore & junior in university and will choose their own business instead of getting the job, they express low satisfaction of importance and achievement. Through this study, I would like to suggest implications and advanced strategies for invigorating webtoon specialist education course for creating youth jobs.
