Multi-class Variable Demand Network Equilibrium (다계층 가변수요 교통망 균형)

  • This paper studies a multiple user class variable demand user equilibrium and system optimal condition, and then establishes solution algorithms for them. The traffic network equilibrium is accomplished with basis on following assumptions. For considering heterogeneous road user, several user classes have discrete set of VOTs and the travel demand of each user classes varies according to generalized travel cost. this paper specifically investigates following question on multi-class variable demand: Are user equilibrium flows pattern dependent on the unit (time or money) perceived by road user classes? What is system optimal condition according to the unit used in measuring the travel cost or disutility? Finally, using this network equilibrium condition, The traffic assignment algorithm of each equilibrium condition are established.

  • 다사용자계층 통행배정(Multiple User Class Assignment) 문제란 교통망을 이용하는 통행자들이 이질적인 통행계층으로 구성된 경우, 이들 각 계층의 통행수요를 교통망에 배정하는 문제를 의미한다. 이는 기존 통행 배정모형들이 모든 통행자의 통행특성이 동질적이라고 가정함으로서 발생하는 불합리한 통행배정 결과를 완화시키기 위한 방법이다. 또한, 최근 지능형교통체계(Intelligent Transportation Systems, ITS)사업에서 교통정보제공시스템이 구현될 예정임에 따라, 교통정보를 제공받는 계층과 그렇지 못한 계층간의 영향을 분석하거나 혼잡통행료부과 등과 같은 교통관리전략을 정확히 평가하기 위해서 다사용자계층 통행배정모형에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 그러나, 다사용자계층 통행배정모형의 경우, 사용자간의 상호영향으로 통행비용함수의 1차 편미분행렬(Jacobian matrix)이 비대칭(Asymmetric)이 되어 동등 수리최소화문제(Equivalency mathematical Minimization program)로 구성할 수 없고 또한 수치적으로 풀기가 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 본 연구는 이런 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 모형식과 알고리듬을 제시코자 한다. 본 연구에서 제시된 모형은 2가지 특징이 있다. 먼저, 각 사용자 계층간의 상호영향을 모형내에 반영하며, 기종점쌍간의 통행시간변화에 따른 수요변화를 고려한다는 점이다. 이를 위하여 변동부등모형(Variational Inequality Model. VI)으로 문제를 구성하며, 이에 대한 해석 알고리듬도 제시한다. 또한, 변동부등모형으로 구축된 다사용자계층 모형이 다사용자계층 균형조건과 동일함을 보여주는 동등성조건(Equivalency condition)도 제시한다.

A Study of planning guide on the one-room housing by user characteristics - Focused on Kangnam & Sinchon area, Seoul - (수요계층별 특성에 맞는 원룸주택 계획지침에 관한 연구 - 서울시 강남 및 신촌지역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a practical planning guide for the actual conditions and the preference by user characteristics in one-room housing. The data collected through questionnaire surveys from the residents of one-room housing in kangnam & sinchon. 259 samples we collected and are analyzed by using SPSS-PC. The results are follows : 1) Students: Students prefer monthly rent, down town, of officetel type, 8-l0py room size, and semi-furnished 2)Business men: They prefer multi function housing mixed office and residence, down town, officetel type, 11-l5py, and fully furnished housing. 3)Newly marriged couples: Ordinary habitation site, apt type, 16-l8py ,and 5: 5 division of space(bedroom:others) 4) Old age: normal habitation site, residence-commerce complex building type, middle corridor type, and 11-l5py. 5)Couple+child: lease of deposit basis, apt complex site, and 16-l8py.

Effect of Educational Attainment of Household Head on Eating-out Demand (가구주 학력이 외식수요에 미치는 효과)

  • Korean households' expenditures on the eating -out have been steadily increasing except for the foreign exchange crisis period. This paper aimed to examine the eating-out expenditures of salary and wage earners's households by educational attainment of household head. We modeled the demand function of eating-out in terms of income and price, examining the responsiveness of eating-out demand to changes in income and price using econometric methods such as regression, rolling regression and impulse response. This paper showed that coefficients of income and price tended to decrease as the income rises in the long-run. Specifically, the higher the educational attainment of household head is, the smaller the coefficients of income and price we. The impulse response analysis also indicated that while price shocks decreased the demand for eating-out, income shocks tended to increase tile demand for eating-out in all the educational attainments. Furthermore income shocks were much greater and last longer than price shocks at all educational attainments of household heads.

마디 및 가지용량을 고려하는 트리-스타형 2계층 네트워크의 설계모형

  • 본 연구에서는 2계층 정보통신 네트워크의 구축에 직접적으로 적용가능한 트리-스타형 2계층 네트워크 설계문제를 다루었다. 정보통신네트워크 설계에의 적용 가능성을 높이기 위하여, 기존의 연구와 달리 네트워크상의 마디와 가지에 설치해야 할 설비들의 다양한 용량제약을 고려할 수 있도록 정립하였다. 또한 네트워크상의 어느 마디쌍간의 물류(정보통신) 수요를 고려할 수 있도록 하였다. 의사결정기준은 설계시에 고려해야 할 네트워크 구축비용(마디 및 가지의 설비비) 및 운영비용(물류비)의 합을 최소화하는 것으로 설정하였다. 이 문제를 혼합 0-1 정수계획 모형으로 정립하였다. 이 모형의 유용성을 살펴보기 위하여 최근 많은 관심을 끌고 있는 CATV 네트워크의 일반형태인 광가입자 선로망의 설계문제를 본 연구모형으로 표현하여 보았다. 이를 토대로 보다 일반적인 다계층 네트워크 설계문제로 확장하는 방안에 대하여도 검토하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구 모형을 정보통신네트워크 설계시에 적용하기 위하여 휴리스틱 해법을 개발할 경우, 문제 특성상 기존의 연구에서 고려하는 해법의 효율성 외에도 통신네트워크의 특성, 비용구조등을 고려해야 할 당위성에 대하여 토론하였다.

A Transformation from Entity-Relationship Model to XML Schema Model (개체-관계 모델에서 XML Schema로 변환)

  • XML이 웹 상에서 문서 교환의 표준으로 자리잡고 있으며 그 수요가 나날이 증가하고 있다. 그에 따라 XML 데이터나 문서 구조를 모델링하는 XML Schema(W3C XML Schema Spec) 또한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 XML Schema는 다양한 자료형과 풍부한 표현력을 제공하지만 그 복잡성으로 인해 모델링하기가 어려운 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 관계형 데이터베이스 설계의 기본적인 도구인 개체-관계 모델을 이용하여 Ut Schema를 간단하게 생성하는 방법을 제시한다. 개체-관계 모델과 변환 될 XML Schema의 구조는 서로 일대일로 매핑되지 않아 직접 변환할 수는 없다. 그래서 몇 가지 알고리즘을 이용하여 개체-관계 모델을 계층적 구조모델로 변환을 한다. 이렇게 변환된 계층적 구조 모델을 이용하여 최종적으로 XML Schema를 생성한다. 여기서 제시한 알고리즘의 특징은 XML Schema의 중요한 특성들인 재사용성, 전역 및 로컬 기능 등을 가진 문서를 생성한다는 것이다.

Latent Class Analysis for Mode Choice Behavior (잠재계층분석에 따른 수단선택모형비교분석)

  • Analyzing mode choice among transportation demand estimate procedures is complicated and understanding characteristics of travelers is also difficult. Generally, it is well known that traveler choose mode considering psychometric factors and characteristic besides socio-demographic indicators. Accordingly, many researches has investigated on methodology that can be applied in mode choice to reflect psychometric factor or specific preference. Latent Class Analysis among various studies is recognized as the theoretically potential approach. This study focuses on class segmented using latent class cluster to analyze impact that included psychometric factors and characteristics on mode choice. It also provides evidence that mode choice model for each class and mode choice model not considering latent class are different. This study based on citizen's stated preference and revealed preference on a new transit on the Han river shows that latent class cluster analysis is the potential approach considering latent preference.

  • Various schemes of transportation demand management(TDM) to discourage the use of cars and enhance public transit performance have been implemented in large cities. Nevertheless, policy effects in reducing car have not been satisfactory. Car-dependent travelers who tend to keep driving cars regardless of the change of the trip circumstances as such increase of travel time and cost according to car use or improvement of public transit service may be due to not according to utility reflecting mode-specific impedance and their own socio-economic characteristics. In this study, travelers were classified into four groups by their choice frequency of private car and public transit in unspecified multiple trip(car-dependent, car-choice, public transit-choice, public transit-dependent class). And the characteristics of each group were comparative analyzed. The results show that the group of a higher car-dependent is a higher priority on convenience and comfortability of the car when making decisions and the group of a lower of car-dependent is likely to change to public transit.

Estimating Car-sharing Demand of Young People for Parking-Free Apartment House in the Future (미래형 공동주택의 청년계층 카셰어링 이용수요 분석)

  • Over the last two decades, the attitudes to cars have changed from buying a car to sharing a car, especially among young people. Shared transport services and autonomous vehicles together can resolve the accessibility issue of shared transport services. Furthermore, they will make it possible to develop a new model of apartments without car parking. Therefore, the study estimated the demand for car sharing by young people and the running efficiency of car-sharing dealing with their car-based trip demand. The study chose nine apartment complexes for study sites where a majority of the residents were young people. The questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data on the trip demands of young people. The results showed that there are significant differences in the car-sharing use patterns and demand between the apartment houses located in the Capital region and non-capital region. Young people living in apartments in the Capital region used car sharing once per day per person for approximately 80 minutes per trip and tended to hire that between 8 AM and 10 AM. On the other hand, the young people living in apartments in the non-capital region used car sharing twice per day per person for approximately 200 minutes per trip. They tended to hire that frequently in the afternoon and evening as well as in the morning. The results also showed that a single car-sharing vehicle could deal with 3~4 trips per day in the Capital region and around 2 trips per day in the non-capital region.

A Multiple User Class Congestion Pricing Model and Equity (혼잡통행료 산정모형의 개발 및 계층간 형평성 연구)

  • Traditionally, a congestion charge based on first-best congestion pricing theory, namely, the theory of marginal cost pricing theory, is equal to the difference between marginal social cost and marginal private cost. It is charged on each link so as to derive a user equilibrium flow pattern to a system optimal one. Based on this theory this paper investigates on the characteristics of first-best congestion pricing of multiple user class on road with variable demand, and presents two methods for analysis of social and spatial equity. For these purposes, we study on the characteristics of first-best congestion pricing derived from system optimal in time and in monetary unit, and analyze equity from this congestion pricing with an example network.
