A Study on the Differences of Humor Preferences and Uses (유머 종류에 따른 유머 선호와 활용에 관한 연구: 성별.연령별 차이를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to examine the differences of Humor Preferences and Uses by the distinction of sex and age. For this purpose, an experimental survey was analyzed. The major findings of this analysis could be summarized like as follows: There is few significant difference in the sex distinction, although men prefer aggressive humor more than women. But there are significant differences in the distinction of age. The teenagers prefer nonverbal humor compare to other ages, and the over forties prefer verbal humor. There are also significant differences of humor uses between age groups. The under twenties use humor more than over thirties. This study deliberates on the reason why there are significant differences of humor preferences and uses in the distinction of age. This study suggests one of the reasons which is related with face consciousness of korean.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of rotational preference on body stability based on COP and EMG analysis in an quiet standing after turn in the left and right directions. The subjects of this study were 16 subjects with a high lateral preference for the right hand and foot. The subjects of this study were 16 subjects with high unilateral preference for the right hand and foot, and three rotational direction conditions (QS: quiet standing, LT: 10 turns on the left, RT: 10 turns on the right) were performed. In order to evaluate the stability in an quiet standing after turning, the results were derived and analyzed using a COP plate and an EMG. As a result of the study, LT and RT were larger than QS for all COP variables, but there was no difference according to the direction of turning. In EMG, RT showed larger muscle activity than the QS according to the rotational direction in left and right gastrocnemius. In conclusion, although all subjects had a high right lateral preference, there was no effect of rotational preference in COP, and gastrocnemius showed the effect of rotational preference.

  • This paper aimed to understand current trends in online lectures for Korean SAT based on students' academic performances through a qualitative interview approach. In results, the highest academic performance group showed a good deal of interest and usage in online lectures. This group participants preferred private online lectures to public ones. However, the lowest academic group liked to use public online lectures. The middle academic groups who lived in an expensive area spent a lot of money for tutoring or attending private institutes rather than online lectures. Suggestions are: self-regulated learning is needed, public onilne lectures should have improved contents, and lastly, these online lectures are required to be connected with regular school curriculum.

An Analysis on Consumers' Preference of Agricultural Products Cultivated from Plants Factory System (식물공장 농산물에 대한 소비자 선호속성 탐색)

  • This study was carried out to find consumers' attributes and willingness to pay(WTP) of agricultural products cultivated from plants factory system. The agricultural products were sorted into lettuce, strawberry, Ligularia fischeri(wild edible greens), and ginseng. We made the questionaires to survey consumers' purchasing attributes and preference of agricultural products. Finally, 200 valid replies were selected to analyze consumers' attributes and to estimate marginal willingness to pay. We used conjoint analysis and multinomial logit model for empirical analysis. MWTPs of commodities are estimated as follows; Lettuce is 1,016KW(100g), Strawberry is 6,014KW(2kg), Ligularia fischeri is 3,652KW(100g), and Ginseng is 5,905KW(100g). Several attributes of consumers' purchasing behavior were identified from this study. We suggested several implications to formulate more appropriate policy of plants factory system.

  • Considering the growing importance of TV favorite channel setting function due to the rapid increase of number of TV channels, this study tried to find factors which affect the attitude toward and intention to use the favorite channel setting function. As related theories, this study used theory of diffusion of innovation, channel repertoire, channel changing behaviors, and social influences and suggested research hypotheses and questions based on the theories. After collecting data through online survey of 192 general audience, this study empirically analyzed the data by using multiple regression analysis. The result showed that innate innovativeness, relative advantage and social critical mass affected attitude toward using the favorite channel setting function and that compatibility, visibility, social critical mass influenced intention to use the function.

Eco-friendly vehicle preferences by consumer characteristics (운전자 특성에 따른 친환경 자동차에 대한 선호도 분석)

  • This research presents that exogenous characteristics of consumers affect eco-friendly vehicle preference. The car consumers are classifies into two groups by their characteristics - sex, age, and fuel expense. To find differences in the preference for eco-friendly vehicle, marginal utilities and compensate variations of vehicle attributes are estimated. The results suggest that there are significant differences in marginal utilities and compensate variations. However, the compensate variation is more reliable standard to test the preference differences because utility is a subjective measure. Men and old people have stronger preference for the fuel efficiency than women and young people. High fuel expense people have more preference for short time charging vehicles than low fuel expense people. In addition, gasoline vehicles are more attractive to young people than old people.

  • The system of high-speed and conventional railway vehicles is diversified, and significant technological development in performance has been achieved. This study analyzed the modal change characteristics; furthermore, it estimated the value of travel time by improving the travel time and cost for the passenger's perception of railway. In this study, we formulate a mode choice model for passengers and compare it with the mixed logit model which reflects individual taste variation. In addition, the validity of the analysis is presented through an estimation the value of travel time using the derived model. For this purpose, a stated preference survey was conducted with 510 people using public transportation. The benefits of time-saving can be accurately determined by estimating the value of time spent on the railway. Appropriate fares for public transportation can also be estimated.

  • This study applied the Q methodology to the graduate students of the department of food service management in Seoul to grasp the subjective perception of customers using the big blur phenomenon and the introduction of the kiosk. As a result of the analysis, five types were derived. (N = 6): Fast payment and various order preference types, the second type (N = 6): Earning and discount benefits preference type, the third type (N = 3): Simple order preference type, The fourth type (N = 2): Employee service preference type, and the fifth type (N = 3): Safety payment preference type. In the future, the research on the Big Blur phenomenon of eating out company will be refined through more detailed Q methodological questions with analytical techniques based on extensive literature and empirical studies, and to analyze the various opinions of respondents more concretely and objectively.

  • 본 연구는 한국 거주 외국인을 대상으로 한국 의류의 착용실태 및 착용 시 불편사항, 선호도 등을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 그 수요가 증가하고 있는 외국인 소비자를 흡수할 수 있는 의류개발에 필요한 기초자료를 얻고자 하였다. 본 연구는 설문지법으로 진행되었으며, 분석에는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 의류 구매장소는 온라인 쇼핑이 가장 많았고, 구매 아이템은 티셔츠, 재킷이 많았다. 가격대는 3만원에서 5만원 사이가 가장 많았다. 구매 이유는 심미적 요인이 높았다. 한국 의류는 어깨부위, 다리길이가 가장 불편하였고, 바지가 가장 맞지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 선호스타일은 캐주얼과 모던 스타일이 많았고, 심플하고 편안한 이미지의 의복을 선호하며, 천연소재를 선호하였다. 조금 여유있는 실루엣의 의복을 선호하고 재킷, 티셔츠 등의 아이템을 선호하였다. 향후 국적, 체형 등에 따른 착의실태 및 선호도에 대한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 생각된다.

A Study on the Predictive Diagnosis of the Cable Joint Using Ultrasonic Technique (초음파 측정기법을 사용한 케이블 접속부 예방진단 연구)

  • In this paper, the diagnosis technique was proposed by measuring and analyzing ultrasonic signals caused by partial discharge on the interface of cable joint. The measured ultrasonic signal was filtered by wavelet transform, and then the dominant signal of filtered signal was analyzed by fast fourier transform(FFT). As a result, it was confirmed that different characteristics were obtained with the moisture and the metal powder on the interface of cable joint and with voltage increment.
