Effects of Supervisor's Authentic Leadership on Job Performance for Employees: Focused on the Mediating Effect of Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (상사의 진성리더십이 구성원의 직무성과에 미치는 영향: 조직몰입과 조직시민행동의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • This study is aimed at suggesting the implications about the importance of authentic leadership through the analysis of what influence of supervisor's authentic leadership has on job performance for employees. Especially, this study investigates whether employee's organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior mediates the relationship between authentic leadership and job performance. Survey was carried out among employees in a variety of organizations. Total 440 sheets of sample have been derived and analysed by SPSS/WIN 24.0 and Stata 14.0. The result revealed that supervisor's authentic leadership was positively related to organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior, and job performance for employees. Further, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior mediated the effects of authentic leadership on employee's job performance. The salient point was that in order to improve employee's job performance is to improve the employee's voluntary participation and cooperation behavior through the supervisor's authentic leadership.

  • During the last three years (1997∼2000), a research project of beach dynamic environmental process and dynamic nature of the Nobong Beach, East Sea of Korea has been carried out for a better understanding of beach cycle (winter and summer). In fact, however, this paper deals with a particular feature of beach dynamics, that is, overwash process of overwash water and its sediments. The overwash mark sediments (OMS) are analyzed to understand various textural characters.

  • Low grade fibromyxoid sarcoma is a recently recognized, uncommon soft tissue neoplasm. It has a tendency to develop in deep soft tissue of young adults and a possibility of local recurrence or distant metastasis. Diagnostic criteria have not been well defined and this tumor has not been accepted as a distinct entity. Histologically, it is characterized by the presence of bland spindle cells with mainly whorled pattern of growth, set in alternating areas with a myxoid or fibrous stroma. Careful consideration of the morphological and immunohistochemical features of this tumor permit a positive diagnosis of low grade fibromyxoid sarcoma and allow its distinction from a number of other benign and malignant soft tissue neoplasms. We experienced a low grade fibromyxoid sarcoma in chest wall and report this case with a review of the literature.

  • 변혁적 리더십이 비전제시, 동기부여 등으로 부하 직원의 심리상태에 영향을 주고 변화를 유도한다는 점에서, 조직구성원의 긍정심리자본에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 연구결과(Lyttle, 2007; 이동섭 최용득, 2009)가 최근 발표된 바 있다. 또한 리더의 유머사용이 직원에게 긍정적인 마음과 동기를 심어줌으로써 긍정심리자본형성에 중요요인이라는 연구결과(Lyttle, 2007)처럼, 인재중시의 측면에서 재미있고 훌륭한 일터의 구현을 제공 및 기여하는 리더의 유머 경영에 대한 관심은 지속적으로 높아지고 있는 추세이다(Avolio, Howell, & Sosik, 1999). 본 연구는 리더의 변혁적 리더십과 유머사용이 긍정심리자본을 매개변수로 하여 부하의 혁신성향, 직무 만족, 조직시민행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 국내중소제조업을 대상으로 검증하고 최종적으로 대안모형을 탐색하였다. 근로자 272명을 대상으로 실증 분석한 결과, 모든 가설에서 유의한 결과가 나타났으며 또한 변혁적 리더십은 직무만족과 조직시민행동에 직접적으로 정(+)의 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 국내 중소기업의 경우 리더가 리더십 발현과 유머사용으로 부하 직원의 동기를 부여하고 긴장을 완화시켜주는 등 긍정적이고 낙관적인 심리형성에 기여함으로써 혁신성향, 직무만족, 조직시민행동에 영향을 준다는 것을 보여준다.

  • Langerhans cell Histiocytosis can present as a single or multiple lesion and can affect one or several organ systems. A 41-year-old woman with a history of multisystemic Langerhans cell Histiocytosis invading lung and thyroid was admitted with left-sided spontaneous pneumothorax. Here we report a case of uncommon pulmonary Langerhans-cell Histiocytosis presenting with spontaneous pneumothorax as a multisystemic Langerhans cell Histiocytosis.

  • Langerhans cell histiocytosis is a rare disease in children. However, Langerhans cell histiocytosis encompasses a wide spectrum of clinical presentations and mimics other conditions. A 1-year-old boy presented with signs of periorbital cellulitis that initially responded to antibiotics, but remained as a same-sized mass with serial orbital computed tomography. The lesion was partially excised. Histopathology and immunohistochemical staining confirmed the diagnosis of Langerhans cell histiocytosis. This case demonstrates that in patients with periorbital cellulitis which has relapsed or responded inadequately to antibiotics, further investigation should initiated to rule out other inflammatory causes.

  • The empowering leadership as perceived by the members of the organization have an influence on the psychological attitudes of them toward their jobs, and again these psychological attitudes might affect their Organizational culture type. Thus, this study tried to mediating effects of Organizational Culture on the relationships between Empowering-Leadership and Creativity and Job attitude. The results of this study are as followings; First, Empowering-leadership is positively related to Creativity, Organizational commitment and Job satisfaction. except leading by example & participative decision-making in organizational commitment of Job attitude. Second, the mediating effects of Organizational culture had a significant effects on part of relationships in each variable. Results indicated that managing Organizational culture is contributed to the member's attitude and organization performance so that the supervisor should make efforts to develop managing skill in their Organizational culture to fit their nature.

  • Aluminum can to can recycling was divided into two stpes. The first step was composed of the processes such as collection of used beverage cans (UBC), shredding, magnetic separation, De-laquiring, melting and casting. The second one was remelting and casting, heat treating, hot and cold rolling, annealing, and can making. In this study, the effect of alloying elements on the microstructure and texture of the secondary ingots made by Al UBC was investigated. In aluminum can to can recycling, the second phase particles appeared in the solidification stage must be controlled by heat treatment. The optimum heat treatment condition was $615^{\circ}C$ for 5hrs. the texture in hot rolled sheet was depressed with increasing Mn content, on the other hand, Si and Fe elements promoted the texture development. The textures of can-body sheet should be controlled in the hot rolling and annealing stage because can was formed from cold rolled sheet without heat treatment.

  • A biosensor including the homogenized tissue of mugwort embedded in carbon paste, which senses hydrogen peroxide, was constructed and its electrochemical properties were validated using voltammetry. The good linearity of Hanes-Woolf plot implied that the reduction reaction of substrate was catalyzed by mugwort peroxidase at the electrode surface. Also the small value of symmetry factor, 0.28, indicated that electrochemical kinetics of the sensor is very sensitive to the change of electrode potential. Many experimental results collected above proved that the dissociation of hydrogen peroxide is dependent on the catalytic power of mugwort peroxidase qualitatively and quantitatively at the surface of the mugwort electrode. It is our firm belief that the marketed HRP can be replaced with mugwort tissue.
