국제물류 인력의 수요가 증가함에 따라 정부는 국제물류 분야 전문인력 양성사업을 시행하고 있다. 해양수산부의 해운항만물류 전문인력 양성사업은 일자리 창출효과 제고, 교육수행 주체와 교육 대상자 확대, 기업체의 참여 확대, 교육 프로그램 표준화, 사업 관리체계 및 사후 관리체계 개선이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

현재 우리나라의 물류인프라는 선진국에 비해 개선의 여지가 다분함에도 불구하고 개선을 위한 원동력인 물류전문인력이 부족한 상황이며 앞으로는 더욱 부족해질 전망이다. 하지만 이에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이며 이로 인해 현실적인 계획 수립에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 물류전문인력 양성의 필요성을 기존 연구를 통해 살펴 본 후 우리나라 물류전문인력 양성 현황 파악 및 수급분석을 통해 실질적인 방향성을 제시하는 것에 목적이 있다.

본 연구는 광양항 물류산업 인프라 우선순위 분석을 위하여 Fuzzy AHP 기법을 적용하였다. 본 연구에서는 의사결정을 위한 측정요소로 수익성, 용이성, 시급성, 장래성이 선정되었고, 대안으로는 글로벌 네트워킹 구축, 물류전문인력 양성, 친환경저비용항만 운영, 전문물류기업 육성이 선정되었다. 대안의 우선순위는 글로벌네트워킹 구축, 친환경저비용항만 운영, 전문물류기업 육성, 물류전문인력 양성 순서로 나타났다.

종물업법이 최근 통과하고 곧 시행령과 시행규칙이 공표될 예정으로 물류관련 업체들은 비상이 걸렸다. 글로벌 감각을 가진 물류전문인력이 부족하여 국제적 종합물류업으로 도약하는데 걸림돌이 되고 있기 때문이다. 이러한 글로벌 인재육성에 대한 기업들의 고민을 명지대학교 유통경영대학원이 해결하고자 제2의 도약과 함께 발벗고 나섰다. 10년전인 1996년 명지대학교는 물류에 대한 중요성을 남보다 먼저 알고 유통경영대학원을 설립하여 200여명의 유통분야와 물류분야에 대한 우수한 인재를 많이 배출하여 왔다. 이제는 물류분야에서 한 단계 업그레이드 된 국제적 감각과 물류전문 컨설턴트를 육성하기 위해 ''글로벌 물류인재육성''을 표방하면서 국제적인 종합물류기업에 걸맞는 인재를 배출하기로 한 것이다. 과연 명지대학교 유통경영대학원이 표방하는 물류전문인력의 양성은 무엇인지 알아보자.

The Korean logistics industry is in a double challenges to train logistics professional in terms of quantity and quality. The study aims to derive implications for the logistics professional training policy and present the capabilities and skills of logistics manpower necessary in the Industry 4.0. To this end, the supply and demand status of logistics personnel was examined through a full survey of logistics curriculum of domestic universities, case analysis of successful overseas logistics education and training programs was attempted, and the skills and capabilities for logistics professional were comprehensively presented through in-depth literature research. As a policy recommendations for future training and education of logistics professional following policies are suggested; necessity of national standard logistics competency map and integrated platform for national logistics capabilities/skills development, creation of industry-university co-education/training ecosystem and education programs for new logistics professional in response to digital transformation and COVID-19 pandemic.

각 학교(전문대 이상)에서는 국제물류 전문인력 양성을 위한 전공이 개설되어 관련 과목 교육을 하고 있다. 학제별로 개설된 전공과목들을 파악하고 전체 커리큘럼을 분석하여, 정규교육과정에서 물류 전문인력을 양성하는데 한계점에 대하여 제시하였다. 또한, 한계점을 바탕으로 앞으로 정규교육이 우수한 국제물류 인력의 양성을 위하여 어떤 방향 점으로 개선되어야 하는지 분석하였다.

The demand for specialized human resources capable of bringing about highly advanced logistics systems and the integration of logistics centers situated in local hubs, has been on the rise. Logistics industry requires more of a systematic mind set, endless innovation, and the navigation of uncharted waters than the logistics industry. This study lays out the reasons for the importance of developing human resources in the logistics industry, and then carries out an evaluation of the current state of human resources development in that particular field in Korea. This study found that there is not only a shortage in terms of the courses needed to develop the skills required to carry out the core activities associated with the logistics sector, but also that students' ability to speak English and Chinese, which are ubiquitous in the international logistics industry, was also wanting. There is a need for the study of logistics at the university level to be based on practical applications rather than theoretical ones.

Due to its vast range of areas and scopes of port logistics, professional training for port logistics experts has faced a limitation to raise manpower that the nation and companies ask for. This study looks at the current and expected demand and supply of workforce to identify necessary subjects and competitive factors in secondary education for training port logistics experts. Based on previous studies, this study proposes an assessment model by eliciting the priority of subjects in secondary education. and then, provides reasons for decision making.
