The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation among adolescents' school consumer education, cell phone consumption behavior and satisfaction with cell phone consumption life. Finally, this study aims to find right ways for leading to adolescents' reasonable consumption life and improving the school consumer education. A survey was conducted to the second grade students 430 of middle school residing in Seoul and the Capital area. As the result of examining the relation among school consumer education, consumption behavior, and consumption life satisfaction, the learning of 'information analysis and decision making process' has a positive effect on 'reasonable purchase and active problem-solving' behavior, and the learning of 'consumption culture' on 'active problem-solving and ethic use' behavior, the learning of 'problem-solving and rights and responsibilities' on 'ethic use' behavior. In addition, it shows that 'ethic usage behavior' in consumption behavior has a positive influence on 'relation satisfaction', and 'reasonable purchase' behavior and 'active problem-solving' behavior on 'practical usage satisfaction'.

In the 2009 new curriculum reform, where creativity is the key point, assessment methods for mathematical creativity is recommended. However, lessons for creativity are not carried out well in mathematics classes. One of the reasons for this is the lack of assessment methods for student's creativity and specific instructions on how teachers should evaluate their students using a written test. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a simple way to evaluate student's creativity by differentiating the student's solutions of the posed problems. For validation of the proposed method, we identified the properties of excellent problem solutions cited by both the students group and teachers group. A chi-square test was then carried out to compare any differences in frequency that each of the groups chose as an excellent solution as a result of the student's problem solving
In this paper we make a new problem solving model using the principle of the lever. Using the model we solved many word problems related with consistency. We suggest new problem solving method using the lever model and describe some characteristics of the method.
This study investigated children's realistic response on problematic word problems focused on number operations. Even though word problems and problem solving should be considered in terms of realistic context, results indicates that children's responses didn't show realistic consideration in solving problems. Also, children showed their tendency of mindless or mechanical operation in solving problems and modeling problems
Using the tangible programming tools, which combines physical objects (e.g. robot) and educational programming language, may help to encourage learners' creative thinking as well as to enhance problem solving ability. That is, learners can have opportunities to simulate problem solving processes through the physical objects, such as robots. Therefore, they can minimize an fixation about problem solving process. These experience is effective to induce creative thinking that is useful to find new solutions and change environment actively. Therefore, we developed a robot based programming teaching and learning curriculum and implemented it in college level introductory programming courses. The result shows that the robot based programming learning has a positive effect in all three factors of learners' creative problem solving potential, especially in a cognitive factor. The cognitive factor includes general problem solving abilities as well as factors that explain creativity, such as divergent thinking, problem recognition, problem representation. These result means that the developed robot based programming teaching and learning curriculum give positive effect to creative problem solving abilities.
Analogical reasoning is a mathematically useful way of thinking. By analogy reasoning, students can improve problem solving, inductive reasoning, heuristic methods and creativity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the analogical reasoning of preservice mathematics teachers while constructing quadratic curves defined by eccentricity. To do this, we produced tasks and 28 preservice mathematics teachers solved. The result findings are as follows. First, students could not solve a target problem because of the absence of the mathematical knowledge of the base problem. Second, although student could solve a base problem, students could not solve a target problem because of the absence of the mathematical knowledge of the target problem which corresponded the mathematical knowledge of the base problem. Third, the various solutions of the base problem helped the students solve the target problem. Fourth, students used an algebraic method to construct a quadratic curve. Fifth, the analysis method and potential similarity helped the students solve the target problem.

Computational Thinking(CT) is drawing attention as a core competency required for future talent in the 21st century. Software education for improving CT ability at home and abroad is in full swing. Among them, problem-solving programming education helps to improve CT ability. The CT-TDPS learning model follows the decomposition, abstraction thinking process, which modularizes complex problems, and the Agile development method, which is an iterative and incremental programming method to implement it. In this study, we tried to confirm the improvement of CT ability by applying CT-TDPS learning model to problem solving programming education using Scratch. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that in the problem solving programming education using the CT-TDPS learning model, it improved in all aspects of computing concept, computing performance, and computing perspective, which are sub-factors of CT ability. In addition, it was confirmed that there was a significant difference in the experimental group as a result of the t-test on the Dr.Scratch automatic evaluation result.

In elementary school software education, a programming process is experienced through a simple problem solving process. And even this experience emphasizes that the problem-solving process is a CS Unplugged activity. However, CS Unplugged has a disadvantage in that it only learns the principles of computing, and the learner cannot experience real problem solving. In this study, a learning program using artificial intelligence robots was developed with the goal of cultivating the ability to solve problems encountered in the real life of elementary school students. Students could solve complex problems in real life from the point of view of artificial intelligence through the developed program, and increase their interest and understanding of artificial intelligence education through robot control.
