This study compares the visual elements of the top five global beer brands currently in the Chinese market with those of the top five Chinese beer brands. The purpose of the research is to identify the importance of visual elements in the label design of beer package and to present the direction of efficient label design. To this end, it is a brand among visual elements of beer label design, and it investigates the label design of Chinese beer and global beer brand through the multi-accelerated comparative analysis method, focusing on color, illustration and layout, and analyzes the difference of elements appearing in the global beer label design from China by utilizing the recursive five-point scale. According to the research, the visual elements used in the Chinese beer brand were more complex compared to the global beer brand, and most layouts were similar, making the product less differentiated. On the other hand, the global beer brand has secured brand identity and differentiation based on its iconic visual elements and diversity of layout. In order to establish itself as a strong brand in consumers' minds, the Chinese beer brand needs differentiated label design through active use of unique brand design.

Various customizing services are also being introduced in the fashion industry in line with the diversification of consumer tastes and the demand for small production of multiple varieties. However, barriers to entry are high for consumers who are not customized, and various functions are rather complicated. This study selected the three platforms that provide the most similar services to Marple, the No. 1 fashion platform sales, as comparative models and used them as a basic study for web-based fashion customization platform design through case analysis. As a research method, theoretical examinations were conducted through literature surveys, followed by web analysis based on layout, menu, color, icon, and interaction. The study found that the placement of options, the composition of menu windows, the number of point colors, and the use of icons without functions of metaphores hindered the use of customizing platforms. This work proposes a solution, and aims to contribute to increasing the usability of future customizing web by comprehensively analyzing the visual shaping elements of web platform design.

In the new millenium of information and digital age, the vogue cycle has been gelling shorter and shorter and the individualistic and high quality preference of contemporary consumers drive the small quantity production by order. The traditional screen printing system can not hold the competitive edge anymore. In order to actively meet the demand of the fast evolving market, compete with other nations, and produce high value-added products, we need the new production system to meet the individual needs promptly. Mass production using the traditional screen printing system has the economic advantage of the production speed and cost. The digital textile printing system digitalizes the total process from the design to the printing and omits the separation and engraving. It is more suitable to produce the multiple item-small quantity and add more values to its products. It has also the advantage of less pollution problem.

Shot interfering RNA (siRNA) can be used to silence specific gene expression and have many potential therapeutic applications. However, how to design an effective siRNA is still not clear. Highly effective siRNA has sequence-specific properties which are low G/C content, low internal stability at the sense strand 3'-terminus, sense strand base bias(position 1 is G/C, position 19 is /AU). Recently, mRNA secondary structure playsan important role in RNAi. Target site of siRNA in high-ordered structure (i.e hairpin loop, multi loop) or base pair of many hydrogen bonds dramatically reduce function of siRNA mediated gene silencing. Possible off-target effects of siRNA is detecting from BLAST search.

This research was conducted to see the effect of color combination and layout in the design of web sites. Eight color combination samples and four basic layouts were selected and web pages designed from their combinations were used in the experiment. The main sensibility effects were found in the 'light, soft, and rich' color combination and in the 'light, dear, simple, warm, neat, and soft layout, respectively. Among the combinations of two factors, the combination of 'dark, hard, and simple' color combination and 'cold, somber, hard, and urban' layout had the sensibility effect. The results showing sensibility word with the sensibility of color combinations in themselves appeared first implies that much of the sensibility effects were caused by the color combinations. In case of layout, as it went from layout A to layout B, to layout C, and to layout D, that is, as the layout got more complicated, it had a 'rich and urban' impression. As a result, the sensibility effect caused by color combination was bigger than the sensibility effect caused by layout. However, layout is crucial in color combinations, it is also important in the design of web sites.

Crack sealing is a maintenance technique commonly used to prevent water and debris penetration and reduce future degradation in pavement. In recent years, several systems for automatically routing and sealing pavement cracks have been developed in the highway construction and maintenance area. Automating pavement crack sealing can improve safety, productivity and quality, and reduce road user cost as well. The reduction in crew size and the increase in productivity of the automated sealing process will be translated directly into significant potential cost savings. The main objective of this study is to illustrate conceptual models for the development of the automated pavement crack sealer which meets domestic road condition and regulation, and to discuss its technical feasibilities. Conclusions are made concerning the applicability and the value of cantilever-typed pavement crack which is selected as the most feasible alternative in both economical and technical aspects.

The occupational execution technique and the ability of people has been changed along with the change of thinking and the development of complicated social structure. The needs of learner's self-controlled learning system is arise to increase the occupational execution technique and adaptation in such a changing social environment. To meet these needs, we must develop systematic approach on the module-type educational material system. The purpose of this study lies on developing the module-type educational material system and its application in aspects of occupational execution ability. Based on the job analysis of advertising design, 1 analyze the learning ability for the occupational execution and abstract knowledge, function, attitude from each learning category of each learning ability. All these processes are the basis of developing the module-type educational material system. and the system will be appreciated in many other fields not only on advertising design.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the phenomenon of user's use of services, focusing on Skyscanner apps, and to suggest improvements to provide better user experience. The service described in this paper is complicated in booking ticket and deficient its usability at a certain age. As a result, three point of improvement is derived. Provide clear information and countermeasures. And make operating procedure be convenient to learn. It is significant that this study suggested ways to improve ticket reservation services through Skyscanner, a major online ticket reservation service. In the follow-up study, I expected that this study will help the various business models improve its system such as UI design, improvement of information structure, and Skyscanner for silver generation.

Although the volume and complexity of available information have increased, our ability to process such volume of complex information has not been met with corresponding development. Information designers have been given the responsibility to address such unbalanced progress by developing effective visual systems to deliver and communicate such information to the masses in a manner that is quick and easy to process and understand. This study originated in recognition of these issues. This study seeks to find a solution to these issues in rhetorics in order to proliferate visual communications in recognition of the increasing importance of information and visual communication. Rhetorics, a field of study with a long history of analyzing the delivery of communication, provides numerous possibilities for the re-establishment of importance placed on visual information communication. Included in this study are (i) a thorough analysis of the principals of expression and logic offered by rhetorics, as applicable to information design (ii) a proposal to the solution to the above-mentioned issues encompassing the rhetoric process and methods of expression of information design and (iii) the practical application of these design principals to social activities. In order to provide an example of the practical use of the rhetoric methodology Presented in this study, we applied the rhetoric methodology to the 'Information Design for Public Transportation of Seoul.' and developed a new map and a guidebook. The raw data necessary for the foregoing were obtained through the analysis of the information designs that are currently in use in connection with mass transportation in Seoul and the survey evaluation conducted among Seoul residents. We modulated the infrastructure of Seoul by using 48 TAZs, computed the routes that are most likely to be used, and proposed the predictable information analysis process. The design proposed on this study encompasses color coding and use of combined information, and application of style and sequential information analysis process.

This study was conducted to improve the use experience of elderly people in fast food kiosks which are actively utilizing 'un-tact' technology. First, the Kiosk design analysis criteria were discussed through literature research. Then, the UI screens of McDonald's, Lotteria and Burger King, which are currently serving kiosks in Korea, were divided into colors, layouts and buttons. Next, the usability evaluation and survey of the elderly revealed problems with the interface design of the current kiosk. As a result, older people do not recognize buttons without an outline as buttons, and errors occur when layout changes or when viewing is complicated. In addition, horizontal navigation and vertical layout menus were error-free, and the design of buttons was error-free with the same color for the same function. Research shows that the Kiosk UI design is preferred by older people. First, buttons in the form of outline or solid are recommended. Second, vertical binding of buttons combined with images and text is recommended. Third, the screen layout should be consistent with the direction of view flow and manipulation, and should avoid increasing the number of menus and information. Fourth, page navigation is recommended in horizontal form and menu arrangement is vertical form. Finally, buttons that perform the same function are efficient for buttons to use the same color, and for different functions, applying a complementary colors can reduce confusion.
