The objectives of this study is to propose the direction of developing the reading activities of the individuals in the future society, and to develop the "model of Web-based reading strategy", based on the understanding of the information literacy reading strategies, and the characteristic and concept of web 3.0., for adapting to the changes in the media environment. In this study, 6 reading strategy models based on the web platform were developed. These 6 strategy models are Metacognitive Strategy, Information Retrieval Model, Personalization Strategy, Reading Strategy, Writing Strategy and Interpreting Strategy.

Much of the current literature on reading instruction supports the idea of teaching students a series of reading strategies instead of isolated reading skills. Reading strategies are plans or methods that can be used or taught to facilitate reading proficiency. In the meantime, the reading instruction program of school library is the reading promotion event has been limited. Therefore, the reading instruction program of school library need to focus reading strategies oriented instruction rather than reading skill. I studied on the application of creativity to reading instruction in this paper. Reading strategies and creative thinking skills are categorized. And these are incorporated in the time process of reading instruction. In pre-reading process, Using Prior Knowledge and Reasoning of reading strategies are used and these are incorporated in Fluency and Creativity of the divergent thinking skill. In reading process, Increasing Sensitivity to Text Elements with the Highest Information Load and Structuring and Recognizing Structures of reading strategies are used and these are incorporated in Flexibility and Creativity of the divergent thinking skill. In post-reading process, Reasoning of reading strategies are used and these are incorporated in Creativity of the divergent thinking skill and convergent thinking skill.

The purpose of this study is to structure the system of reading strategy contents and seek a subject linkage method through using it. In order to establish the contents of reading strategy, the 2015 Korean High School Revised National Curriculum's contents system and advanced research were looked at. From that curricula, text areas(the types and fields, meaning structure) and cognitive strategy(reading methods and skills) are deduced and categorized. In addition to reading techniques reorganized by referring to worksheets of advanced researches, the system of reading strategy contents was made. As the result of applying it to the learning activities of "he Integrated Society" and "he Integrated Science" a subject linkage to learn the learning contents proposed providing a variety of reading materials related to the subject and running extended reading programs.

In this study, the effects of reading strategy, which is a combination of reading methods on high school students' reading ability were investigated using action research methodology in order to provide practical support in educational fields. Also, the effects of reading strategies on adolescents' reading attitudes and the correlation between text comprehension and change of reading attitudes were investigated. This study is unique for its adoption of reading method combinations as reading strategies to enhance the effectiveness of reading in terms of text comprehension. Also, this study is meaningful in dealing with the cognitive abilities of high school students.

The aim of this study is to develop and suggest a reading strategy to learn for integrating reading and writing. The reading and writing strategy could be divided in directed strategies related to the cognitive process and indirected strategies to carry out the process successfully. Therefore, its strategies are constructed of the indirected strategy corresponding with the instructional design model and the direct strategy containing specific action plans of the model's progressive stages. When considering the reading to learn could be run as a program in the school, in this study, the basic model of the indirected strategy is devised with four steps of 'preparing-designing-implementing-evaluating'. And the implementing stage of the read to learn combining reading and writing is consisted of six steps as 'selecting subjects-considering contents-searching-writing-correcting-publishing'. Also, proper indirected strategies such as graphic organization and checklists are suggested in order to assist reading and writing activities in the implementing stage.

In this paper, I studied on reading instruction in the school library. Reading instruction is a very important role of school library. And it is an essential element of school education. In this paper, I tried an application of constructivism for reading instruction. Information literacy instruction of school library includes reading instruction. So the pattern of information literacy instruction of school library was accepted as reading instruction pattern of school library in this paper. And then constructivism for learning principle and reading strategies as reading instruction was analyzed in this paper. Gerard J. Westhoff categorized reading strategies into 4 parts. I applied this categorization of reading strategies to the reading instruction pattern. And I analyzed and synthesized these relative constructivism elements and reading strategies for the reading instruction pattern in this paper.

A number of studies have emphasized the importance and values of reading in character education. However, there is no tool or framework for developing character education program. If teacher librarian to develop a character education program by reading should be preceded the framework for a comprehensive and systematic approach. The framework for character education program by reading is required to develop a program. The framework must be considered with a character factor and reading elements. The purpose of this study is to establish a framework that will help teacher librarian to develop a character education program by reading. This study analyzed on construction elements of character, reading material for character education, reading strategies, teaching methods. Then, this study propose a framework for developing character education program based on the analysis information. The proposed framework in this study consists of construction elements of character, reading material for character education, reading strategies, teaching methods.

Currently, Reading instruction has a problem that it's separating subject matter and emphasizing only an activities after reading. This study designed a web-based reading instruction system in which teachers, students and teacher librarians can actively participate to help students to develop the integrated reading ability. Existing reading system have been analyzed to find requirement of web-based reading instruction system. Supposed reading instruction system composed of 6 menus, reading guidance ,reading level diagnosis, book selection, reading strategy, reading presentation, reading discussion.
