The purpose of this study is to analyze the variables affecting the institutional commitment of college students. Based on the relevant literature review, this study subdivided institutional commitment of college students into three; academic integration, social integration and institutional commitment. To achieve the goals, the hierarchical regression analysis was conducted using KELS(Korea Educational Longitudinal Survey) data collected by KEDI in 2018. Major findings are as follows: factors related to college experiences such as learning styles, negligence of learning, college climate, interaction with faculty members or peer group were found to be associated with the institutional commitment of college students. With regard to students' background, male students revealed lower level of academic integration and institutional commitment. The regression model disclosed that students from medicine demonstrated higher social integration compared to other majors. Based on the findings of the study, policy implications were discussed.
The purpose of this study is to give some suggestions by examining what kind of effects the cynicism about the organizational change of the administrative staff in private colleges have on their job involvement and organizational commitment and by analyzing the difference between the colleges having experienced labor-management disputes and those without such experiences. The results of this study obtained by actual analyses and the suggestions provided based on the results are as follows. In the colleges having experienced disputes on campus, the cynicism about the organizational change reduces the job involvement and the organizational commitment of the members of the organizations. On the other hand, there are no significant effects of the cynicism about the organizational change on the job involvement and the organizational commitment of the members in the case of the colleges not having experienced disputes on campus.

As a result of analysis, the average score for institutional commitment was 3.30, the average level of satisfaction of university life was 3.62, the cultural climate was 3.39 and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular program was 3.48, which was in high range. Institutional commitment has a positive correlation between the level of satisfaction of university life, the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs(p<.001). The most critical factor that affects the institutional commitment was the level of satisfaction of university life and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs, the cultural climate in order. The result can be interpreted that institutional commitment is influenced by students' major and the level of satisfaction of university life and the level of satisfaction for extracurricular programs, and the level of satisfaction of university life has relatively high level of influence out of other factors, indicating that the effort to improve the institutional commitment of the students is needed at the collegiate level.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of wellness, campus-life satisfaction and learning flow among university students. This Model tests various theoretical research hypotheses relating to Wellness, Campus-Life Satisfaction and, Learning Flow. The proposed model is analyzed to target 214 university students in Daegu using Smart Partial Least Square(PLS) 2.0. The result of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, Spiritual, Intellectual, Social, Emotional wellness positively influenced campus-life satisfaction, but does not significantly influence physical wellness. Second, Campus-life satisfaction positively influenced learning flow. The results of the study empirically shows that university student's wellness meaning the optimal condition increases the campus life satisfaction and has a positive effect on learning flow in a moment. In this study, we examined the effects of University adaptation on career adaptation through self-leadership and learning commitment, and identified the regulatory effects of demographic characteristics (sex, grade, grade level, and willingness to work). To this end, we analyzed the data for 289 college students. The results of the study are as follows. First, adaptation to University life has a significant impact on learning commitment and self-leadership. However, adaptation to University life has an indirect effect on learning commitment and self-leadership rather than directly affecting career adaptation. Second, demographic characteristics have a regulatory effect on the path through which University adaptation affects career adaptation through self-leadership and learning commitment. The factors that were regulated were age, grade, and willingness to work. Therefore, in order to adapt to university life and adapt to career, we developed a program to improve self-leadership and learning commitment, and suggested that customized guidance is needed considering the differences in personal characteristics such as gender and academic background in university life and career counseling.
