사회적 기업 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

  • 우리나라는 외환위기 이후 경제가 급속도로로 발전했으나 변화하는 과정에서 여러 사회문제들이 발생했다. 저 출산 및 고령화, 환경오염, 실업률 증가, 지역 사회 붕괴, 사회적 가치 창출 및 공유 미흡등 사회적인 약자가 증가하고 그들에 대한 배려가 부족해지면서 사회적 서비스가 중요한 시대가 되었다. 사회적 기업은 영리기업과 비영리 기업의 중간 형태로, 사회적 목적을 우선적으로 추구하면서 재화/서비스의 생산 및 판매 등 영업활동을 수행하는 조직을 말한다.(사회적기업진흥원, 2017) 사회 전반적으로 사회 문제에 대한 관심과 사회적 기업에 대한 창의적인 아이디어, 도전들은 많다. 하지만 사회문제를 해결하기 위한 사회적 기업 창업을 하는 사람은 그리 많지 않는 것이 현실이다. 이러한 현실을 통해 본 논문에서는 현재 대학생, 대학원생들의 사회적 기업 창업의지에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 관하여 고찰하였다. 사회적 기업 창업과 벤처 창업 의지에 관한 선행 연구들을 바탕으로 연구를 진행 하였다. 사회적 기업 창업 의지에 영향을 미치는 영향으로는 개인적 특성(위험 감수성, 혁신 추구성, 진취성, 사회가치지향성), 사회문제 상황인식(문제인식, 관여도), 대학의 사회적 기업 정보등을 선정하였다. 이러한 요인을 바탕으로 국내 대학생과 대학원생들에게 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 설문조사 결과에 대한 신뢰성, 요인분석, 상관관계 분석 등을 통해 본 연구에서 설계한 가설을 검증해 보았다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 사회적 기업을 창업? 잠재적인 대학생 및 대학원생들의 창업을 도와주기 위한 정책적 지원을 만드는데 도움이 되며, 사회적 기업 창업에 관한 연구 확산에도 기여 할 수 있을 것이다.

  • This study is to identify that the efforts of business ethics build customer loyalty, and it makes customers lead to purchase behavior in the viewpoint of grasping convergence effect. The survey has proved that ethical management influences consumers' purchase behaviors, and consumers' image perception and trust on corporate play parameter role in that process. This results imply that corporate's ethical management gives increase in revenue and reputation to corporate. So managers must recognize business goes on when the social legitimacy is approved by the public, and make efforts to arrange systems and programs to foster ethical management. In the future study, it is required that an analysis to differentiate target range and level of implementation of ethical management and research associated with ethical issue of high public interest.

A Study on Effect of Organizational Performance of SME in Gumi by R&D Learning Organization (R&D 학습조직이 구미지역 중소기업의 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of R&D learning organization activities of domestic small and medium-sized businesses on economic/technological results. This study, through investigation on preceding studies of domestic and foreign learning organization researchers, examined the definition, characteristics, and deteriorating factors of learning organization, and learned dependent variables, which are the definition of organizational performance, and relationship between learning organization and organizational performance. Then it performed a survey targeting small- and medium-sized businesses in Gumi and grasped the relationship between R&D capability (study planning, vision goal adequacy, project management, commercialization of technologies) and learning organization capability (creation of constant learning opportunities, knowledge sharing and utilizing system, strategic learning leadership) by classifying them to seven independent variables, using regression analysis. Because this study grasped the effect of R&D learning organization activities on organizational performance, it is expected to promote forming R&D learning organization for active R&D activities and contribute to enhancing small and medium-sized businesses' recognition on the need of R&D activities.

Effects of the fitness among Entrepreneurship, Dynamic capabilities and Innovation activities on Business performance (기업가정신과 동적역량, 혁신활동의 적합성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purposes of this study is to examine the effect of fitness among entrepreneurship, dynamic capabilities and innovation activities on business performance. A survey was conducted and analyzed on small & medium manufacturing companies in Korea with the following result of the study. First, the fitness of entrepreneurship and dynamic capabilities, the fitness of dynamic capabilities and innovation activities, the fitness of entrepreneurship and innovation activities have a significant effect on business performance respectively. Second, the fitness of all the three variables also has a significant positive effect on the performance. Additional path analysis shows that dynamic capabilities and innovation activities have mediating roles between entrepreneurship and business performance. The results imply that not only each of the entrepreneurship, dynamic capabilities, and innovation activities has a positive effect on business performance but also the three factors in harmony have a synergic positive effect on the business performance.

A Study on the Performance of CSR Activities Participation: Focusing on Korean Firms in China (CSR활동 참여성과 연구: 중국시장의 한국기업을 대상으로)

  • The view of social responsibility activities from the pioneer studies found that most research is mainly limited to the corporate social responsibility activities. The related studies on the individual level are very few. Therefore, it is very necessary to make a clearer and more systematic empirical research for the global companies whose employees are directly involved in the companies' social responsibility activities. In order to find the relationship between variables, we collected data from chinese employee of Korean firms which located in China. The result of empirical test is as follows; First, the social responsibility activities of the individual level have a significant positive effect on the employees' job satisfaction and organization inputs. In other words, social responsibility activities could improve the employee's job satisfaction and organization inputs. Second, innovative organizational culture of South Korean companies has a significant positive effect on the individual level social responsibility activities. Third, transformational leadership of the CEO in South Korean have no effect on personal level social responsibility activities. Fourth, the CEO'S ethical values have great positive effect on personal level of social responsibility activities. Through the analysis we can see, in the process of global corporate implicating social responsibility activities, the CEO'S ethical values are more important than the transformational leadership of the CEO. Finally, in the relationship between the employees' personal ethical values and personal social responsibility activities, the employees' personal ethical values in South Korean companies have great positive effect on the personal level social responsibility activities.

An Empirical Study on Influencing Factors of Venture Firm's CSR: Focusing on Slack Resources and Growth Strategy (벤처기업의 사회적책임(CSR)활동의 영향요인에 관한 연구: 기업의 여유자원과 성장전략을 중심으로)

  • This study empirically derives the factors affecting the practice of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of venture firms in Korea from the perspective of Slack Resource Theory and the company's growth strategy, and provides implications for future expansion of venture firm's CSR activities. In Korea, venture firms have grown into important players in the national economy since the late 1990s through social contributions such as economic value creation, job creation, and technological development. As venture companies grow in status, positive relationships with stakeholders and responsibility for environmental and social values are required. Now, CSR is becoming an important strategic choice for SMEs and venture firms. However, until now, CSR-related academic research has mainly focused on large or listed corporations, and there is not much research on SMEs or venture firms. In particular, research on the factors that lead venture companies to make important business decisions of participating in CSR activities is not there yet. This study applied logistic multiple regression analysis using the '2023 Survey on Venture Firms' conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. As a result of this study, operating profit, which is an available resources of venture companies, and government support, which is a potential resource, have a positive impact on venture firms's CSR activities. Also, business relationships with large corporations and expectation for future cooperation also have a positive impact on CSR activities as the determinants. On the other hand, it was analyzed that in venture firms where ownership and management are not separated, the higher the CEO's shareholding ratio, the more negatively it affects CSR activities. This study contributes academically as the first empirical study on the determinants of CSR activities of venture firms in Korea and provides implications that government policy support and collaboration between large corporations and venture firms are important in order to expand CSR activities of venture firms.

  • 2022년 7월에 열린 'ON미래, 산업디지털전환 국회 포럼' 에서는 기업과 기업의 데이터들이 연결되고 산업에 활용 가능한 환경조성이 필요하며 이러한 데이터 생태계를 위한 거래 활성화로 비즈니스 모델 창출이 중요한 이슈로 떠올랐다. 소상공인시장진흥공단은 소상공인 디지털 특성화대학을 열고 소상공인 디지털 역량 강화를 위해 전국의 10개 대학과 연계하였다. 4차 산업혁명의 진전과 코로나19 팬데믹의 영향으로 인한 비대면 문화의 확산 등과 이에 따른 소상공인의 디지털역량이 사업을 영위하는데 중요한 이슈로 등장한 것이다. 본 연구는 소상공인의 사업 역량과 디지털 역량이 경제활동 지속 의도에 미치는 영향관계를 실증 분석하기 위하여 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 사업 역량을 세분화해서 소상공인의 업종 전문성, 고객관리 전문성으로 나누었다. 디지털 역량은 SNS 활동성, ICT 사용 용이성, ICT 사업 활용성으로 세분화하였다. 이들 요인들이 경제활동 지속 의도에 영향을 미침에 있어서 1인 미디어 교육참여도에 따라 어떻게 달라지는지를 동시에 살펴보았다. 이를 실증 분석하기 위해 1인 미디어 교육을 받은 사람을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 조사하고자 하며 디지털 역량의 중요성이 증대되는 시점에서 소상공인에 있어서도 이러한 역량이 경제활동 지속 의도에 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 분석하는 측면에서 의의가 있다.

  • This study is concerned with the operational methods of Quality Management employed by the small and medium-sized companies in Gang won-do to improve their power of competition. This study is particular, studied the consortium-participating companies on their Plans of Quality Management as to how they carry them out in order to advance to the first-class business enterprises. The results of this study showed that the of shortage manpower and funds that the local small and mediumsized companies commonly face played a significant role as major obstacles in implementing their Quality Management programs. The study results also suggest that it is necessary to promote some periodic manpower train- ing programs in cooperation with local universities, to utilize professors and experts to build management strategies that can bring and secure the power of competition, and to construct a system of educational-industrial cooperation, as ways leading these companies to the 21s1 century's type of business enterprise.

Determinants of Korean Firms' R&D Outsourcing (한국 기업의 연구개발 외주활동 결정요인 분석)

  • This paper aims to analyze the relationship between R&D outsourcing ratio (external R&D expenditures out of total R&D expenditures) and firm characteristics. Four hypotheses are tested using firm-level data with Tobit regression method. The major findings of this paper are as follows. First, firms with high technological capabilities, which are measured by R&D expenditures per sale and the number of patents per employee, rely more on R&D outsourcing. Nonetheless, firms that own R&D centers tend to rely less on external outsourcing of R&D. Second, firms with high managerial innovation capabilities, which is measured by the introduction of IT solutions, show higher R&D outsourcing ratio. Third, bigger firms are likely to spend more in external R&D than in internal R&D. This paper also discusses implications on R&D policy of Korea.

Entrepreneurial Orientation of Owner Managers and Innovation Performance of Firms : Focusing on mediation effect of user innovation (소유경영자의 혁신지향성과 혁신성과: 수요자 혁신의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study is designed to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship orientation of owner managers on product innovation performance through user innovation participation by using Korea Innovation Survey 2014 (KIS 2014) conducted by STEPI (Science and Technology Policy Institute). The findings show that entrepreneurial orientation of owner managers measured by a proxy variable of ownership ratio has positive relationship with innovation performance of firms. They also present that user innovation activity has a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the entrepreneurial orientation of owner managers and innovation performance of firms. This study suggests that the higher the entrepreneurial orientation of the owner manager, the higher the innovation performance. The innovation performance can be intensified when the open innovation strategy is implemented through the user participation.
