The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the awareness of health care workers on the protection of patient health information and their practice of it in an attempt to provide some information on the policy setting of health care institutions about medical information protection. As a result, the awareness of the health care workers on the protection of patient health information and their practice of it were both the best in the communication area, followed by the patient health information management area and the area of direct contact with health information. As for the variables linked to their awareness and practice of patient health information protection, the type of the health care institutions, job satisfaction, religion and the departments in which they worked were significantly related. To determine what factors affected the patient health information management area, a multiple regression analysis was carried out by selecting the area of direct contact with patient health information and the communication area as independent variables and by selecting the patient health information management area as a dependent variable. And it's found that the patient health information management area became better when the area of direct contact with the information and the communication area were better.
This goal of this study was to find relationships between variables that have an influences on young children's leadership. The subjects of the study were 251 five year old children enrolled in childcare programs located in Seoul & Gyeonggi-do, Korea, the methods for analyzing children's leadership were t-tests, a correlation analysis and the multiple regression analysis which was used to recognize what factor affected the leadership of young children the most. The result of this study was that there was a difference between the sub-factor and leadership of playfulness according to the gender and birth order of young children and whether their mother was working out or not. In other words, there was a difference in the leadership and temperament according to gender and birth order and whether their mother was working out or not. Secondly, there was partial correlation between the temperament of young children, playfulness, and leadership according to the testing of the low-level variable factor. Thirdly, the strongest predictor of children's leadership wad the social independence among playfulness.
The purpose of this study was to investigate a moderating effect of social work practitioners' support between psychological crisis and social participation of divorced retired men. For this, psychological crisis, social participation, and social work practitioners' support were completed by 248 divorced retired men registered during the last five years in Hope Job Center for the middle aged group in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Correlation analysis was performed to determine the general trend of the measured variables based on the collected data, simple regression analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between variables, and hierarchical regression analysis was performed to examine the moderating effect. The results of this study are as follows. First, psychological crisis was found to have a negative correlation with social participation and social work practitioners' support. Second, social worker practitioners' support between psychological crisis and social participation showed a significant moderating effect. Based on these findings, this study is significant in terms of providing needs for interventions of social support through methods such as programs for psychological support and education about social participation for divorced retired men.
As the validity issue of teacher nominations for the identification of gifted students has been raised recently, this study purports to test the validity of teacher nominations for selecting scientifically gifted students. As the criterion variables, domain specific traits such as science creative problem solving skills and science attitudes and domain general characteristics such as divergent thinking skills, creative attitudes, intrinsic motivation, and leadership were analyzed. Scientifically gifted students, potentially gifted students who had never been enrolled in gifted programs but were nominated as the scientifically gifted by teachers, and general class students participated in the study. The results of ANOVA showed that there were significant differences in all variables but originality factors of the TTCT and science creative problem solving skill test between gifted/nominated students and general class students; gifted/nominated students were significantly superior in these variables to general class students. The discriminant functions analysis yielded a discriminant function that significantly discriminated between gifted/nominated and general class students. Variables loaded on the discriminant function were science creative problem solving skills except for the originality subfactor, and science efficacy. These results imply that while teachers are likely to consider adaptation-oriented academic excellency related to logical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and science performance when nominating students, they may ignore the innovation-oriented property which is indicated as the fluency and originality factors of TTCT. Also, the criteria of teacher nominations are presumed to be congruent with the selection criteria of the gifted education program which pursued academic excellency as the educational goal. This suggests that with such criteria, high performing students in the science area can be sufficiently identified by teachers with no further identification procedures or/and tests.
This study conducted a meta-analysis to examine syntagmatically on the variables related with recovery among persons with mental illness in Korea. In order to do a meta-analysis, theses and dissertations published between 1999 and 2018 in Korea were reviewed systematically and a total of 24 including studies were selected. Using Comprehensive Meta Analysis (CMA) 3.0 software, this study calculated average effect size and moderator variables related with recovery among persons with mental illness. Results were as follows. First, this study identified a total of 16 variables related with recovery among persons with mental illness. Second, the results indicated that variables which showed large effect sizes included social support(r=.575), empowerment(r=.555), self-efficacy(r=.544), social skill(r=.500), relationship with social worker(r=.482), stigma(r=-.446), family support(r=.418). Third, variables with medium effect sizes included interpersonal relationship capacity (r=.391), agency service satisfaction(r=.366), insight(r=.373) and symptom(r=-.239). Fourth, variables with small effect sizes included work experience(r=.188). Fifth, moderator analyses were conducted utilizing characteristics of residence state (community or mental hospital). Moderator effects were identified in the social support and family support. Based on the findings, theoretical and clinical implications for the recovery among persons with mental illness in Korea were discussed.
The purpose of this study is to analyze demands of education training about copyright for Infant and early childhood education institutions. This study investigated demands of education training about copyright for infant and early childhood education institutions targeting 248 directors and teachers. Using a questionnaire, research data was analyzed using the program spss. Demands of education training about copyright for infant and early childhood education institutions appeared differently depending on education institution type, position, education career, etc. copyright training topics include the highest demands for understanding of the copyright associated with the work of the early childhood education. Training contents had higher demands for using typeface(font) and video material. So these results reported that directors and teachers require copyright education relating to the work of Early childhood education. The results of this study suggest the implications for developing and implementing copyright training programs for Infant and Early childhood education institutions.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception and actual condition of early childhood teachers about the activities of cooperative art in early childhood education institutions. The subjects of the study were 280 teachers of early childhood education institutions in Y city. The research method was a questionnaire survey on the perception and actual condition of the cooperative art activities. For the research problems, frequency, percentage, and average were calculated by using descriptive statistics, and t - test, F - test, and ${\chi}^2$ - test were conducted to examine the differences according to background variables of early childhood teachers. In conclusion, this study showed that the need for cooperative art activities of early childhood education institutions was highly perceived, and there were significant differences according to the background variables of teachers in educational goals, contents and method. There were significant differences according to the teachers' background variables in the actual cooperative art activities in terms of frequency, method, time, evaluation method, teacher training and support. Based on the results of this study, various supporting methods such as activities plan and method, teacher education and training appropriate for the cooperative art activity program and the presentation of young children are sought so that more desirable and efficient cooperative art activities can be operated in the field of early childhood education suggesting that it should be done.
The purposes of this study are to compare practical ability of vocational education high school, investigate effectiveness of recruitment practical examination, and provide basic data that can be helpful to recruit teaching staffs of occupational training institution in the middle stage and strengthen practical guidance capability of teacher through the analysis by variables of teacher's background. To achieve them, concrete capability areas related to practical ability were conceived and differences of new teacher's abilities were compared between area that fulfilled recruitment practical examination and areas that didn't fulfill. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, practical abilities among specialized subject teachers of vocational education high school were compared by existence of vocational education high school teacher recruitment practical examination. As a result, the average of practical ability of the group who was fulfilled by recruitment practical examination was somewhat high in all of 5 sub-areas for practical ability, but wasn't significant statistically. Second, the differences of practical ability by background variable among specialized subject teacher of vocational education high school were compared. As a result, the group who possesses national technology licence, existence of short-term teaching career, teaching course completion form of open teacher training showed higher average and it showed significant differences statistically.
The research is aimed at finding out the relationship between vocational stress and willingness to engage in vocational stress, which measures vocational stress and the ability to cope with the job, and how the job stress relates to job mobility. First of all, the job stress and willingness to transfer jobs related to sexual harassment related agencies have a positive correlation, while self-exploitation, job stress, and willingness to move jobs have shown negative correlation. Second, the self-assessment of self-assessment of ego resilience has served as a complete parameter in relation to the relationship between employee motivation and willingness to leave the job, which is the job of occupational duties. Based on this study, it is important to note that self-reference is an important factor in determining the role of job stress in the workforce because of its self-reference of job stress and motivation in relation to job stress.
This study was conducted to present the basic data for the revitalization of lifelong education for people with developmental disabilities by exploring variables affecting their willingness to participate in lifelong education. Among the original data on the disability survey in 2017, data on developmentally disabled people were used, and 16 variables that could affect the intention to participate in lifelong education of the developmentally disabled as independent variables were used as dependent variables. Each set was performed for logistic regression. As a result of this study, the gender, age, disability level, family support, life satisfaction, and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living of the people with developmental disabilities were found to be variables that significantly influence the intention to participate in lifelong education for the people with developmental disabilities. In order to revitalize lifelong education for people with developmental disabilities, it will be necessary to provide a way to improve the willingness of people with developmental disabilities to participate in lifelong education as well as to build infrastructure such as expanding institutions and related personnel and programs.
