A Study on the Development of Educational Program for Invention on the Basis of TRIZ (TRIZ(트리즈)를 활용한 발명교육프로그램 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to reform the existing state of educational program for invention by TRIZ, theory of inventive problem solving. Major findings of the study were follows : First, students had a chance to get a inventive solution from the problem they were inventing. Second, the new educational program for invention was developed according to the procedures on the standpoint of pedagogy with the TRIZ. Third, according to the survey of the new educational program for invention has found that as follows: -Students were of help to know the invention, to be beneficial, but the basic concepts of TRIZ were not easy to them. -Student wished to advice their colleague the new program for invention, because they had chances to overcome a fixed idea, extend creativity and think. Fourth, TRIZ, the systematic method of problem solving for invention, provide students with the thinking method to overcome fixed ideas and the tool of knowledge.

A Study on Gender difference of SW recognition by Middle School students (성별에 따른 중학생의 SW 인식 비교 연구)

  • As the influence of SW spreads, many countries concentrate on SW education policies for women. Although the SW education is strengthened, study on the curriculum suitable for women is still insufficient. The study conducted 422 middle school students to investigate differences in perception of SW by gender. It consisted of 207 male students and 215 female students, and survey analyzed in three categories : SW environment, SW education awareness and SW career interest. The analysis showed that SW education for female students is necessary to increase the confidence and interest in them, and that SW education opportunities for female students should be expanded so that interest and expectation of information education should be increased. In addition, it is necessary to introduce and promote SW related career path which can increase interest in SW related job and SW related major. This study is meaningful in that at this point when the revised curriculum begins to be applied, there are differences in perception of informatics and SW by gender, and that it is necessary to study the SW curriculum suitable for gender for effective achievement.

A Study on the Awareness of Teacher-Parents of Media Education for Children (유아미디어 교육에 대한 교사-학부모의 인식 연구)

  • This study is to examine how media education is recognized and used in the field of early childhood education. For this, it analyzed awareness and problems of media education by kindergarten teachers and parents and set the following research questions to find out a new alternative of media education for children. First, what are differences in concerns and educational experiences on media education for children by teacher-parents? Second, what are differences in teaching-learning methods on media education for children recognized by teachers-parents? Third, the present study examined problems and effective improvement methods of media education for children with 250 teachers in the field of early childhood education and 250 parents and obtained the following conclusions. The teaching-learning method preferred most by teachers and parents was talking activity and as a result of asking the preferred type of group, it was found that teachers-parents answered small group activity was most ideal and what are to be improved in the media education for children included the extension of teachers' opportunities to have research training and non-establishment of the genral theory of media education in our whole society.

The Analysis of Difference in Software Education Teaching Efficacy according to Variables of In-service Elementary School Teachers (현직 초등 교사의 변인에 따른 소프트웨어 교육 교수효능감(SE-TE) 차이 분석)

  • In this study, we analyzed the differences of SW education teaching efficacy(SE-TE) according to variables such as gender, region, training experience, and attitude toward SW education. As a result, there was no difference according to the region, but there was statistically significant difference in the other variables. The correlation analysis and the regression analysis showed that the training experience and the attitude toward the SW education had the most correlation and explanatory power to the SE-TE. These results suggest that the training should be designed in order to enhance the teachers' SE-TE, to increase the opportunities of training, to provide continuous training, to operate the training hours efficiently, and to improve the teachers' personal SW education teaching efficacy.

Analysis on Students Background Factors Influencing to ICT literacy Level of Elementary and Middle School Students (ICT 리터러시 수준에 영향을 미치는 초·중학생의 배경 요인 분석)

  • This study analyzed the impact of ICT usage on elementary and secondary school students on the result of ICT literacy levels for finding out why most of students were 'normal' or 'basic'. As a result, we found out that the learning action, information searching and leisure action of student using ICT had correlation with ICT literacy level. The higher the rate using ICT for learning, information searching and leisure, the higher the ICT literacy level of student. But the higher the rate using ICT for communication, the lower the ICT literacy level of student. Accordingly, we proposed the policy not to increase simply ICT using of student, but to teach how to use ICT for learning and information searching.

  • This study dealt with the effect of the university in area development to Cheonan city. This study ran parallel literature investigation and actual proof investigation. Questionnaires 394 enforce frequency analysis in SPSS 15.0 versions. University positive effect on local community is smooth supply of human capital in local community, increase of regional income, improvement of area image by expanded education opportunities, supply of various university facilities in local communities etc. Contradictory effect is expansion of gap for areas that young persons in local community taken to education of good quality leave other local community, occurrence of conflict by collision of new culture and culture of area characteristic. Role of university for area development is role of help consultation, symbolic role, educational role etc. But the weighed role is leading role which university leads area development. Finally, the prompting methods of university for local community development .must accomplish interchange of operational mode with high quality human resources activating removal of manpower between arithmetic.

A Study on Introduction of Online Education to Provide Opportunities for Spreading University-level Program (고교-대학 연계 심화과정의 기회 확대 제공을 위한 온라인 교육 도입 방안 연구)

  • This paper studies on introduction of online education to provide opportunities for spreading university-level program by analyzing perception of high school students and teachers. The university-level program can be defined as the fulfillment of learning needs and the value offer of excellence education for outstanding high school students who want to improve their potential capabilities. For the study, a survey was conducted at high school students and teachers. As the result of the survey for high school students, the efficiency of education was the most important factor for the university-level program. The order of next important factors was the aid to entering university, the method of education, the satisfaction, and the recommendation of others. The result of high school teacher indicated that the efficiency of education was the most important factor as the high school students. The order of next important factors by high school teachers was the satisfaction, the aid to entering university, and the method of education. An activation of the university-level programs can be spread by analyzing the results of the survey. With the introduction of online education for the university-level program can conclude the guarantee of the right of studying and the reduction of education gap. This paper proposed an online education for the university-level program to guarantee the right of studying and to reduce the education gap.

Exploring the Direction of Secondary School Career Education in a Lifelong Learning Society (평생학습사회에서 중등학교의 진로 교육 방향 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of secondary school career education in a lifelong learning society. In that direction, first, it is necessary to strengthen teacher capacity and develop professionalism. Second, career education programs need to be improved and diversified. Third, it is necessary to strengthen collaboration and communication with career education experts as a way to strengthen cooperation and connection outside the school. Fourth, it is necessary to support online career education through improvement of career information network. Fifth, there are policy support and institutional improvement plans. Sixth, it is necessary to expand the subject of career education to the entire life. To this end, career education in secondary school is designed to flexibly cope with changes, overcome crises and turn them into opportunities, and provide experiences to solve problems. Comprehensive support for individually customized career education from a lifelong perspective that manages the degree is needed. Second, it is necessary to expand field-oriented career and job experience to provide sufficient job-related experience and support mentoring by field experts. Third, it is necessary to establish a career education network where schools, education offices, and local communities work together. Fourth, retraining of career counseling teachers is also necessary to support the strengthening of career education capacity of all teachers.

Development of SW Program Assesment Indicator for SW Education in Elementary and Middle School (초·중학교 SW교육을 위한 프로그래밍 평가지표 개발)

  • In this paper, I developed a assesment indicator to evaluate SW program developed by students in SW education. The SW education carry out in elementary school, middle school and high school from 2016. But the assesment indicator to evaluate SW program had not been developed until now. Therefore, I tried to develop the assesment indicator that have harmoniously educational characteristic and SW qualitative characteristic. First of all, I had set the 15 attributes for assesment and developed the 36 criteria for 15 attributes. And the validity of 15 attributes and 36 criteria for assesment had been reviewed by 39 SW educational experts. As a result, the 15 attributes and 36 criteria for assesment were determined to which that have validity. I expect that the assesment indicator developed in this paper will raise the reliability of evaluation in SW education. And the assesment indicator may be used at SW competition conference for teenagers.

Online Education System for Work Based Learning Dual System (일-학습 병행을 위한 온라인 교육 시스템)

  • The vicious cycle of over-education has been made. That is, higher education enrollment rate is high, but university graduate employment rate is low. To eliminate this cycle and relieve youth unemployment and young people to enter the labor market early, dual education and training system is needed. This dual system can support working and learning in parallel. So, worker can get the opportunity pre-employment and post-learning and improve his/her job skills. Recent MOOC (Massive Open On-line Course), a new form of online education system, has emerged. MOOC combines education, entertainment and social networking, and emphasize the interaction between faculty and student and between students. The educational contents of MOOC are available free of charge. Using newly changed online education environments we can effectively provide knowledge and skills. In technology and engineering education hands-on training is necessary. In order to support work based learning dual system for worker to work and learn in parallel, we should build the multi-learning system to combine the online education and campus hands-on practice.
