  • Currently, image of floating architecture has been positively improved based on the normalization of a domestic representative floating building 'Some Sevit'. Features of the floating architecture are as follows: special experience (29.9%)> landmark (27.6%)> enjoyment of marine culture (21.5%)> center for tourism and regional development (16.0%)> eco-friendly space solving global warming (4.8%). Floating building has a distinctive image and at the same time offers a unique spatial experience to the public. Therefore, space design marketing of floating building is a communication process to exchange its spatial identity and image between the local government and the public, the corporation and customers. It is essential for the effective space design marketing that the spatial demands should be reflected into its program such as commercial, cultural and marina facilities. The unification of project leader and operator is also important. The transformed conditions would help the construction market to be active in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a development plan for the waterfront in the coastal ocean. The research method is conducted mainly on various materials such as marine design, waterfront, marine industry, harbor waterfront space, marine landscape related reports, papers, and articles. As a result, it was found that it is urgent to move, dismantle, and manage various sculptures or structures that are installed on the shore and cause visual pollution. The location management and maintenance of indiscriminately scattered fishing grounds are urgently needed, secure sufficient green buffer space, develop coastal marine roads across the country, create eco-tourism sites, contribute to regional revitalization and secure the production value of aquatic products by restoring the ecosystem. This study is expected to contribute to suggesting a direction for maintenance by focusing on the main management measures of the waterfront rather than the aspect of reckless development of marine design.

  • According to a survey by the Korea Tourism Organization in 2018 and 2019, traveling to places recorded in TV programs or influential videos has become an important travel trend and several studies show that watching a travel program improves the intention to visit the places featured on the program. This study designed a travel program-linked data service that provides additional information on the places and events to the viewers of the travel program. Specifically, the additional information of the travel program was defined in a formal manner by dividing it into places and events, and a method of exposure of the additional information conformed to the contents of the program was designed. We also devised an international standard DVB-based data transmission method that provides the additional information to data services appropriately in time for program broadcasting. This study is significant in that it tested new applications of data services for travel programs.

In order to examine the factors emphasized among the issues related to the revitalization of rural areas, we used news data related to 'tourism' and 'livelihood', which are the main keyword of the project to promote rural areas. In the analysis, text mining techniques were used. Topic modeling was conducted on LDA techniques for major projects in 'tourism' and 'livelihood' keyword. Based on this, this study typified the projects that are carried out for the activation of rural areas by topic. As a result of the analysis, it was fount that the topics included in the project were distributed in 11 sub-types(Tourism Promotion, Regional Specialization, Local Festival, Development of Regional Scale, Urban and Rural Exchange, Agricultural Support, Community Forest Management, Improve the Settlement Environment, General Welfare Service, Low Class Support, Others). • In smart cities around the world, urban environments have become more convenient due to information and communication technology(ICT). However, extant studies reveal that the level of life satisfaction of citizens has not improved compared to that of the pre-smart city and citizens are skeptical about the role of the smart city. This is largely because local culture and needs were neglected during the planing and development of the smart city. The research was conducted on Cambodia as a pilot site and our findings indicate that middle age group's population is significantly small and the society is at risk of losing its culture. Therefore, this paper opens up various ways of embedding cultural programs using technology in order to pass down cultural heritage to young generation, provide an emotional attachment to the inhabitants and further build up a new phase of cultural legacy. This will engender cultural uniqueness to the city and intrigue tourists around the world resulting in the growth of the tourist industry. This research will contribute locally by providing a sense of community to the public and globally by suggesting applicable methodology to other cities that are under the similar context.
