The Influence of Worker's Exercise Self-Efficacy, Self Determination, Exercise Behavior On Wellness :Focusing Large-scale Workplace Workers (근로자의 운동자기효능감, 자기결정성, 운동행위가 웰니스에 미치는 영향: 대규모 사업장 근로자를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine to identify factors affecting wellness of workers. This study collected questionnaire data from 172 workers from two large workplaces more than 1,000 workers are located in G city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient and Hierarchical regression with IBM SPSS statistics 20.0 program. Wellness of worker was correlated with exercise self-efficacy(r=.23, p<.05), autonomous motivation(r=.38, p<.001), exercise behavior(r=.61, p<.001). Hierarchical regression analysis showed that exercise self-efficacy(${\beta}=.34$, p<.001), exercise behavior(${\beta}=.30$, p<.001), subjective health status(${\beta}=-.23$, p<.001), subjective economic status(${\beta}=-.13$, p=.016) explained 57.3%(F=39.29, p<.001) of wellness of workers. Based on the finding, there is a need to develop an intervention program that consider exercise self-efficacy, exercise behavior, subjective health status and subjective economic status.

Design and Implementation of IP Video Wall System for Large-scale Video Monitoring in Smart City Environments (스마트 시티 환경에서 대규모 영상 모니터링을 위한 IP 비디오 월 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Unlike a typical video wall system, video wall systems used for integrated monitoring in smart city environments should be able to display various videos, images, and texts simultaneously. In this paper, we propose an Internet Protocol (IP)-based video wall system that has no limit on the number of videos that can be monitored simultaneously, and that can arrange the monitor screen layout without restrictions. The proposed system is composed of multiple display servers, a wall controller, and video source providers, and they communicate with each other through an IP network. Since the display server receives and decodes the video stream directly from the video source devices, and displays it on the attached monitor screens, more videos can be simultaneously displayed on the entire video wall. When one video is displayed over several screens attached to multiple display servers, only one display server receives the video stream and transmits it to the other display servers by using IP multicast communications, thereby reducing the network load and synchronizing the video frames. Experiments show that as the number of videos increases, a system consisting of more display servers shows better decoding and rendering performance, and there is no performance degradation, even if the display server continues to be expanded.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the Power Card strategy on the receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary in children with autism spectrum disorders. Method: Three children with autism spectrum disorder were selected for this study and the power card strategy language intervention was applied, using a multiple baseline design across individuals. The target vocabulary was selected by examining the individual preferred characters. Power cards were constructed, and intervention was applied to improve the receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary through the baseline stage, intervention, and maintenance. Result: The application of the power card strategy showed that the acquisition rate of receptive vocabulary in children with autism spectrum disorder was increased, and expressive vocabulary acquisition rate was also improved. Conclusion: During the intervention period using the power card strategy, the children's target receptive vocabulary and expressive vocabulary acquisition rates improved, and the acquisition rate was maintained, even after the intervention. This suggests that the power card strategy is effective in improving the vocabulary of autistic children with disabilities, of school age.

Scale Development for Youth Obesity Prevention and Unified Validity Test through the Health Belief Model-I (건강신념모형을 적용한 청소년 비만예방척도개발과 통합적 타당도검증-I)

  • The purpose of the present study is to apply a health belief model to the serious perception of an increase in youth obesity, and to develop and validate a measurement tool for youth obesity prevention among this group who are experiencing increasing rates of obesity. The specific goals of this study are to 1) apply a health belief model to develop a measurement tool for obesity prevention among youth who are seeing rising rates of obesity, and 2) provide an integrated validation procedure and foundation for developing this measurement tool. A total of 1801 high school students[sample1: 902(male:464,female:438); sample2: 899(male:464,female:438)] were recruited and collected data from 12 high school in Seoul and Kyonggi area. For this study the analytic framework of unified validity was developed which can comprehensively reflect unified validity be Messick(1995), framework for conducting a strong program of construct validation by Benson(1998), the unified validity implementation method of Rasch model suggested by Wolfe and Smith(2007a, 2007b). Furthermore, after dividing the developed analytic framework into each stage(the substantive domain), the evidence of validity of Youth Obesity Prevention Scale(YOPS) applying Health Belief Model was systematically suggested. The YOPS suggested the evidence about the substantive domain of unified validity. The developed YOPS was consist of Susceptibility, Severity, Benefits, Barriers and Cues to Action. After 3 stage in substantive domain, the components of YOPS(5factors and 28items) satisfied the unidimensionality, and the 5 point Likert scale had the significant discrimination of the respondents' response.

  • Because of self-enhancement motives, when involved in social comparison, many people generally value things that are related to themselves, with the representative example being possessions, which is known as the endowment (ownership) effect. However, there are times when someone else's possessions appear to be better than our own, even if they are the same things, which is known as the endowment effect reversal. The purpose of this study was to explore the moderating variable that regulates the endowment effect and the endowment effect reversal by confirming whether the value estimation of others' belongings differed through a regulatory focus as it was surmised that the regulatory focus would moderate the endowment effect of the self versus the others' ownership. Foreign participants were shown the currency of a country they were unfamiliar with and asked to estimate the value in their home country currency. It was found that when people thought the money was their own, people with a promotion focus estimated the value to be higher than people with a prevention focus. However, when they thought it was someone else's money, the regulatory focus moderating effect was not found to be significant, which suggested that the endowment effect may be strengthened or eliminated depending on the individual's regulatory focus. Based on these study results, the implications, limitations, and suggestions for follow-up studies are discussed.

  • In the IOT social environment, which emphasizes the convergence of science and technology and emotion, this study aims to explore the experience and meaning of the experience while participating in the design convergence class based on the operation of the Learning community of Chinese graduate students majoring in design. To this end, an implementation study was conducted by visualizing various research problems using a design-based inquiry method for 12 graduate students attending T University. The design-oriented convergence class was conducted in a small group with content that was deepened into a visual strategy by the expression technique given by the external environment and the learner's own inner motivation. In order to express the perspective and intention of the research problem in the research, the convergence design research expressed using various visual strategies such as metaphorical use and analysis of visual data in the research process and sensory approach to the research problem was presented in a form that expresses the creative thinking process. As a way of exploration, the teaching method of presenting results based on various experiences suggests changes in new teaching formats, practical knowledge sharing by instructors, and community participation by learning participants.

A Comparative Analysis of OTT Service Reviews Before and After the Onset of the Pandemic Using Text Mining Technique: Focusing on the Emotion-Focused Coping and Nostalgia (텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 코로나 19 전후 온라인 동영상 서비스(OTT) 리뷰 비교분석 연구 - 정서 중심 대처와 노스탤지어를 중심으로)

  • This study aims to contribute to the understanding of consumer behavior during the COVID-19 by comparing blog reviews of an over-the-top (OTT) online video service from before and during the pandemic. We anticipate that the COVID-19 outbreak prompts the use of the OTT service as part of an emotion-focused coping strategy derived from the loss of personal control and the subsequent avoidance motivation. We also posit that a strong yearning for life before COVID-19 will increase interest in the content that fulfills a need for nostalgia. Our analysis of Netflix reviews provides empirical evidence of the effects of an emotion-focused coping strategy and nostalgia on OTT service usage. First, the titles of the reviews posted during COVID-19 indicate that consumers were less likely to mention OTT services other than Netflix, more interested in domestic content, and used OTT services as an avoidance-denial strategy. Second, the blog content demonstrates that while pre-COVID reviews tend to focus on the practical benefits of OTT services, those posted during the pandemic focus on mood, emotions, and dialogue. In addition, interest in comedy and romance genres increased during COVID-19. Third, we identified a greater preference for realistic or everyday content that depicted the pre-pandemic era. This is the first empirical study to investigate the effects of COVID-19 on video streaming usage in Korea. In addition, this research contributes to the field of marketing by expanding our understanding of online video service users during COVID-19 and identifies practical implications for OTT services in the midst of a pandemic.

The Relationship between Clinical Practice Stress, Communication Competence and Burnout in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스, 의사소통능력 및 소진과의 관계)

  • This study was carried out to provide basic data for development of a program for reducing burnout by examining the relation among clinical practice stress, communication competence and burnout. For this study, data were collected from third-year and fourth-year nursing students from one university in M city, who have experience in clinical practice, from 17th to 30th September 2020. The mean score of clinical practice stress, communication competence and burnout in nursing students was 3.08, 3.38 and 2.94 out of 5 points respectively, which means they were above the average. Clinical practice stress significantly differed depending on practice satisfaction(F=7.058 p=.001) of nursing students, and burnout showed statistically significant differences depending on age(F=5.159 p=.007), admission motives(F=3.034 p=.019) and practice satisfaction(F=7.718 p=.001). There was a significant negative correlation(r=-.223, p<.001) between clinical practice stress and communication competence, a significant positive correlation(r=.194 p<.001) between clinical practice stress and burnout and a significant negative correlation(r=-.155, p=.032) between communication competence and burnout. In conclusion, there is a need to seek educational plans for reducing burnout of nursing students and develop a program for improving their communication competence.

Effects of Beat-Keeping Game Through Smartphone Applications on Executive Functions of Children With Developmental Delays (스마트폰 어플리케이션을 이용한 박자 맞추기 게임이 발달 지연 아동의 실행기능에 미치는 효과)

  • Objectives : This study aimed to investigate the effect of beat-keeping games in smartphone applications on improving executive functions in children with developmental delays. Methods : Three children diagnosed with developmental delay were included in this study. The ABA design used a single-subject experimental research design. The independent variable was the beat-keeping game. The game was held three times a week for a total of seven times for 20 minutes, including breaks. The dependent variable, "Visual-motor speed," was measured every session to assess if the beat-keeping game was effective in improving the participant's executive function. Further, before and after the intervention, "Children's Color Trails Test (CCTT)", "Block design," and "Finding hidden picture" were measured. Results : All three participants showed improvement in the performance of the beat-keeping game and the executive functions of "Visual-motor speed" and visual attention. Conclusions : Based on the results of this study, various effective applications for learning and intervention can be developed and applied to children with developmental delays who have difficulty in motivating themselves and lack attention.

  • EHA (Electro-Hydrostatic Actuator) is more energy efficiency than a centralized hydraulic system. In particular, the EHA used for aircraft has a redundant design in preparation for failure scenario. Also, due to the aircraft's internal space limitation, the actuator's length must be optimized. Therefore, a series configuration of double rod and single rod cylinder is advantageous. However, due to the asymmetry of the cross-sectional area of the piston, the force fighting phenomenon between the two cylinder areas occurs during redundant operation with a general control system.
