FQTR : Novel Hybrid Tag Anti-Collision Protocols in RFID System (FQTR : RFID 시스템을 위한 새로운 하이브리드 태그 충볼 방지 프로토콜)

  • RFID, Radio Frequency Identification, is a technology of automated identification replacing bar-code. RFID technology has advantages that it recognizes fast and it is strong to contamination using wireless communication. However, there are difficult problems that should be solved for popularization of RFID. Among of these, tag anti-collision problem is dealed in this paper. It affected the performance of RFID system directly. This paper analyzes conventional algorithms and proposes new algorithms of tag anti-collision. The algorithm proposed was composed of appropriate properties to each phase of distribution and recognition as hybrid between ALOHA-based algorithm and QT-based algorithm. At phase of distribution, the number of tags recognizing at a frame was reduced using ALOHA-based algorithm. It addressed the delay problem because of deep depth of tree. At phase of recognition, it solved ALOHA-based chronic problem that couldn't recognize all the tags sometimes. Moreover, QTR algorithm that recognize by reversed tag IDs was adopted for the performance. The FQTR algorithm proposed in this paper showed brilliant performance as compared with convention algorithms by simulation.

  • As the popularity of implant treatment using a variety of problems have been reported. The proper torque values recommended by the manufacturer and the actual tightening force applied to the observed differences. Period for each product used in this study using different torque controllers accuracy for each of the comparisons, were analyzed. Error rate varies by the manufacturer, but all the products used in the reference period for increasing the error rate increased. Repeat the initial tightening, but the reference, showed a value close to the reference value for the width of change was larger. However, increasing the number of repeated tightening of the reference value for the error rate increased, but has reduced the width of the observed changes.

  • The kiln at Chollanamdo Kwangjusi Ch'unghyodong, which produced punch'ong and white wares for a period of 70 to 80 years in the 15th century, is examined for their scientific technological param-eters. Punch'ong sherds were divided into seven different groups according to the location and the layer of the waste mounds from which they were excavated. Optical and scanning electron microscope were used for microstructural observations and X-ray diffraction and polarized microscope for mineral characteristics. For determining the firing temperature, sherds were refired at different temperatures and their micro-structural changes were observed. Some wares such as the group CHE2 was high quality wares fired at high emperature around 1200$^{\circ}C$ for palace use, but as the ceramics ware became more widely used and the white wares increasingly preferred over punch'ong, lower quality wares of rougher raw materials were firedat lower temperatures around 1100-1150$^{\circ}C$ in quantity. They used local raw materials of several types, all available locally.

  • Purpose: In this paper, we introduce a wide clinical application of root resection therapy and additional benefits on the next prosthetic or dental implant treatment procedures in the age of dental implants. Materials and Methods: Additional clinical benefits of root resection were monitored by clinical and radiographic evaluation. Results: No complication was reported in all the cases, and the favorable results of root resection were maintained for long period. Conclusion: In compromised multirooted teeth, variety clinical treatment modality should be considered for enhancing the reconstruction of alveolar ridge around root resected in preparation for next implantation.

The Analysis Method based on the Business Model for Developing Web Application Systems (웹 응용 시스템 개발을 위한 업무모델 기반의 분석방법)

  • Various web applications are developed as the Internet is popularized in many fields. However, in most cases of web application development, systematic analysis is omitted and developers jump into the implementation. Therefore developers have difficulties with applying the development methods for a large scale project. The approach of creating an analysis models of a web application from a business model is proposed for the rapid and efficient development. The analysis process, tasks and techniques are proposed for this approach. The use case diagram and web page list are created from business modes that is depicted using the notation of UML activity diagram. The page diagram and logical / physical database models are created using the use case diagram and the web page list. These analysis models are refined during the detailed design phase. The efficiency of proposed method has been shown using a practical case study which reflects the development project of the web application for supporting the association of auto repair shops.

Improving the Reliability and Performance of the YAFFS Flash File System (YAFFS 플래시 파일시스템의 성능과 안정성 향상)

  • Popularity of smartphones such as Google Android phones and Apple iphones, is increasing the demand on more reliable high performance file system for flash memory. In this paper, we propose two techniques to improve the performance of YAFFS (Yet Another Flash File System), while enhancing the reliability of the system. Specifically, we first propose to manage metadata and user data separately on segregated blocks and indexing information piggy-back technique for reducing mount time and also enhancing performance. Second, we tailor the wear-leveling to the segregated metadata and user data blocks. Performance evaluation results based on real hardware system with 1GB NAND flash memory show that the YAFFS with our proposed techniques realized outperforms the original YAFFS by six times in terms of mount speed and five times in terms of benchmark performance, while reducing the average erase count of blocks by 14%.

A Study on Factors Influencing Consumer Purchase Intentions and Purposes in Direct-To-Consumer Genetic Test (소비자의뢰 유전자검사 구매 의도 및 목적에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구)

  • Innovation of genomics technology has recently been extended to Direct To Consumer Genetic Test (DTC-GT) which consumers purchase without requesting the service on medical institutes. In 2016, Korea has introduced the DTC-GT but the market size is small comparing to global market. This study analyzes consumers' purchase intentions and purposes and their influential factors based on 2018 consumer survey. According to the results of binominal and multinominal logistic regression, knowledge after purchase, attitude on medical care benefit, health status are statistically significant on purchase intentions. Purchase purposes are different on age group and related on medical care rather than health care. These results imply that DTC-GT is needed to improve consumer satisfaction, re-purchase and effective care service. This paper is expected to contribute on strategic directions for the new DTC-GT product development.

  • With the popularization of PC, SNS and IoT, a lot of data is generated and the amount is increasing exponentially. Artificial neural network learning is a topic that attracts attention in many fields in recent years by using huge amounts of data. Artificial neural network learning has shown tremendous potential in speech recognition and image recognition, and is widely applied to a variety of complex areas such as medical diagnosis, artificial intelligence games, and face recognition. The results of artificial neural networks are accurate enough to surpass real human beings. Despite these many advantages, privacy problems still exist in artificial neural network learning. Learning data for artificial neural network learning includes various information including personal sensitive information, so that privacy can be exposed due to malicious attackers. There is a privacy risk that occurs when an attacker interferes with learning and degrades learning or attacks a model that has completed learning. In this paper, we analyze the attack method of the recently proposed neural network model and its privacy protection method.

  • In the ICT field, one among the remarkable issue of in 2014 is the "Wear computer", that is, the opening of "Wearable Device" age. The Samsung galaxy gear and products like Google glass and Apple watch are done as the wearable device. According to the definition of MIT Media Lab, the wearable device adheres to the body and is included till the application which names all things doing the computing action and can perform the partial computing function. And the wearable device is one brain. If the wearable device is popularized, it will be changed many things. First of all, 2 hands become free. My body is due to be connected to 24 hours Internet. It is not level that it adheres the Smart phone or device to the body and the brain role in which the device is connected outside directly, the human body is done. In this paper, the related companies analyze the technical elements of this wearable device especially.
