A Study on the Customer Satisfaction Management Strategy for Korea Vocational Colleges - With Emphasis on Customer Satisfaction Index - (대학의 고객만족 경영시스템 구축방안 - 고객만족도 조사 설계를 중심으로 -)

  • Value Creation issue for customers is emerging from the college education. Most colleges are facing to cope with over-supplied education facility problems against reducing population to apply to enter universities/colleges. The best way to overcome those problems might be to implement the Customer Satisfaction Management Strategy as if they were private firms for making profit. The main purpose in this study is to provide guidelines for CS strategy with a private college. It is focused on designing research plans and searching CS index. The process of this study is as follows; - Introduced the value creation strategy for customers with private colleges. - Proposed the CS management which is very important for enhancing competitive power - Evaluate various models to measure service quality and CSI for college service. - Provided some guidelines to research design of CS according to 6 customer categories. - Proposed some methodologies to apply a service quality measurement model. - Suggested a revised model from SERVPERF to adapt with college customers satisfaction. The result from this study showed that Customer Satisfaction Management would be the most important strategy to cope with confronting difficulties for private college and the revised model from SERVPERF would be an alternative solution. Further study is essential to assure the suggested model is valuable for private colleges because empirical test has not completed yet.

A Study on the Importance-Performance Analysis of Food Service Event Attributes in Participants and Organizers (외식 이벤트 속성의 참여자-주최자간 중요도와 만족도의 비교 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze importance and performance factors on the quality of food service event attributes in participants and organizers, so that it could provide helpful information to build up a detailed marketing strategy and present considerations for revisit increase and more efficient business results as well. Importance on food service event attributes scored a higher level than performance on the whole. Notably, in regard to the attributes of food service event, it was found that respondents put higher stress on vessel(4.10 points), natural seasoning(4.06 points), reservation service(4.04 points), parking service(3.95 points), customer level(3.85 points), organizer's service (3.84 points), polished atmosphere (3.83 points) and taste of food (3.83 points) than anything else. In terms of IPA analysis on food service event attributes, it was important to continuously maintain 'vessel', 'reservation service', customer level', 'sauce taste', 'recency', price', 'chefs fame', etc. Some items such as 'parking service', 'natural seasoning', 'polished atmosphere', 'taste of food', 'see off service', 'cleanliness' are in need of intensive care and operation.

  • This study is an empirical analysis completed based on a survey of the members of major construction companies and is analyzed to verify the relationship between the ethical characteristics of major construction companies and firm's competitiveness and its effects. In this study, based on previous researches in domestic and foreign, the factors that are affected by the business ethics were analyzed, and the competitiveness of firms, which is a dependant variable, was divided into four different types: quality, price, sales, and promotion. The proposal and final conclusion regarding the relationship between job satisfaction and concentration was made after the investigation of research hypothesis. The conclusions described below:(By the Linear regression analysis) 1. The product competitiveness is affected by moral competence, will to act ethical management, transparency of fairness, customers, and social responsibility. 2. The price competitiveness is affected by will to act ethical management, transparency of fairness, customers, and social responsibility.

  • This study analyzed the gap between users' perception and staff expectations on users' perceptions about dimensions of library service quality(library staff, service supports. materials and resources, and facilities and equipments), service value, user satisfaction, royalty. using newly developed model. Six hundred-fourteen users and one hundred staff members or the National Libra of Korea were participated in the survey using questionnaires. Users evaluated service quality lower but evaluated service value, satisfaction. and loyalty higher In terms of showing complaining behaviors, users were less than staffs expected. Model analysis for users and staff3 showed that service value and general satisfaction influenced on complaining behavior and loyalty. For users. only the dimension of library staff influenced significantly on the service value, satisfaction, complaining behavior, and loyalty. None of the other dimensions of the service qualify showed significant relationship to them in the case of staff expectation.

A Study on the Current Status and Perception of Library Automation Systems for System Improvement (도서관자동화시스템 개선을 위한 현황 및 인식 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the current status of library automation systems and explore future directions for improvement. The study was conducted by surveying librarians at institutions participating in the KESLI and KCUE consortia to investigate the current status and satisfaction with library automation systems, and the current status and awareness of open source-based library automation systems. The study found that most automation systems currently in use in libraries were developed through outsourcing in the 2000s or 2010s, and that more than 50% of respondents were satisfied with the overall library automation system. Overall satisfaction was found to be influenced by satisfaction with the functionality, customer support services and construction and operational management of the system. Most current library automation systems are not based on open source software or cloud services, but the intention to use them in the future is high, with more than 40% of respondents saying they would use them within three years. This study is expected to serve as an important foundation for building an open source-based library automation system in the future.

  • 부산항은 컨테이너터미널 운영사별로 마케팅 전략 수립 및 마케팅 활동이 개별적으로 이루어질 뿐 항만 관련 유관기관(부산시, 부산지방해양수산청, 한국컨테이너부두공단, 부산본부세관)의 조화된 항만 마케팅 전략 및 역할이 수립되지 않은 상태이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 부산항 활성화를 위한 각 주체별 활동 현황을 조사하고, 항만 이용자인 선사 및 포워더를 대상으로 마케팅 믹스(Mix, 4P: Product, Place, Price, Promotion)에 대한 설문조사를 토대로 부산항 마케팅 분석을 실시한다 이를 바탕으로 부산항이 동북아 중심항만으로 성장하는데 필요로 하는 부산항 관련 각 주체별 마케팅 관계 그리고 역할을 제시한다. IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) 분석 결과를 살펴보면 전체 고객을 대상으로 평가했을 때 가격 믹스와 촉진믹스는 가장 중요도가 높은 것으로 분석되었으며 특히, 촉진믹스는 중요도는 매우 높으나 만족도가 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 그러므로 마케팅 전략 수립 시 촉진 부문에도 높은 비중을 두어 선사들에게 공격적인 마케팅 활동이 요구된다고 할 수 있다. 부산항 관련 각 주체별 마케팅 역할에서 부산광역시는 부산지방해양수산청과 함께 촉진믹스에 중점을 두어야하고, 부산지방해양수산청은 촉진믹스 외에 가격믹스에서 항만 요율의 적절성과 경로믹스인 철도 수송 망의 확보가 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 한국컨테이너부두공단은 촉진믹스 외에 가격믹스에서 항만시설 사용료의 체계적인 개편이 요구되고, 터미널 운영사는 제품믹스 서비스인 공컨테이너의 효율적인 재고관리 업무서비스와 가격믹스에서 하역요율의 탄력적인 제공이 필요하다.

An empirical study on the service quality of uTradeHub though Kano model and customer satisfaction coefficient (Kano 모형과 고객만족계수를 이용한 uTradeHub 서비스 품질에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, service quality attributes of uTradeHub were classified based on the Kano model, and quality attributes that should be managed in priority to improve the service quality of uTradeHub were investigated using Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient(CSC) and average satisfaction coefficient(ASC). The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, as a result of classifying service quality attributes based on Kano model, 12 one dimensional qualities, 5 must-be qualities, 2 indifferent qualities were deducted, and many quality attributes of uTradeHub service were confirmed to be one dimensional quality to which is needed to be paid attention and paid more detailed attention to enhance service quality. Second, in the analysis result using Timko's customer satisfaction coefficient, "post processing for problems and complaints", "cost reduction", "efficiency of business processing" were ranked in the top of satisfaction coefficient, and they found to be quality attributes that customer satisfaction increases when service quality was satisfied. While, "post processing for problems and complaints", "interaction", "ability to respond promptly when problems occur" were ranked in the top of unsatisfaction coefficient, and they were analysed to be quality attributes that customer complaints increase when service quality was unsatisfied. Third, in the result of analyzing the quality attributes that should be managed in priority to improve the service quality of uTradeHub based on the average satisfaction coefficient(ASC), "post processing for problems and complaints", "cost reduction", "useful information" were ranked in the top 3, and they were classified as quality attributes that the satisfaction level increases more when they are improved than now, but the satisfaction level decreases when they are worsen.

  • The study has try to find out the relationship between airfreight service quality and satisfaction in international forwarding practice which has focused to figure out the mediating role of performance that measured as subjective evaluation on profit. For the purpose of this paper, questionnaire survey has been performed on the relationship among the procedure of the air freight service quality was found to have not only direct influence but also indirect impact through performance on satisfaction. This research made some contribution both academicals and logistic practices. Academically, it is the first research to address the relationship between air freight service quality and profit performance in Korean academic field. Practically, this study provides justification for the investment to improve forwarding service quality. The results of this study bear some implications on international shipping and practice. The quality of the air cargo transportation management system for customer satisfaction and its impact on business performance in the process to make an empirical identifies. The role and influence of the working-level analysis to derive the performance as transportation management, as well as the effectiveness of customer satisfaction for quality and promote a point. Arrange this point take advantage of air cargo companies are composed of service quality management system for the dimension of course aims to foster a competitive advantage in terms of performance. This paper suggest that real-time movement of the consignment route provides information such as verification and business cooperation for the purpose of proper features a reflecting on the stability of cargo air freight management system, that improve the quality of services on this performance to increase the customer satisfaction strategy in connected getting and so on, is in the process of the formation of customer satisfaction.

A Survey of Recommendation Intent for Small Business Tax Accounting Services (소규모 사업체의 세무회계서비스 추천 의향 조사)

  • This study investigates the recommendation for tax accounting services used in many companies. In particular, it aims to create guidelines for small businesses with fewer than 100 employees, which are relatively difficult to manage in terms of cost or time. We surveyed 100 corporate officials on basic business information, such as the number of employees, job titles, and business type, as well as the type of tax accounting service, the recommended score for the service, the reason for the score, and other opinions related to tax accounting services. In particular, the recommendation score seeks to obtain more effective results by using the Net Promoter Score method, which is known to be more effective in understanding customer opinions than general customer satisfaction surveys. The survey revealed a Net Promoter Score for a recommendation of -33 points, lower than the general Net Promoter Score. It also indicated that tax accounting services need improvement. Specifically, the opinions of the respondents who gave a non-recommendation score were as follows: "Not inconvenient or comfortable," "It was just okay," "I don't know if it would be helpful," and "There is no differentiation and there are no special alternatives." We concluded that an improved service for raising recommendation scores was necessary. This survey focused on recommendations for companies with fewer than 100 employees; future studies should incorporate larger companies and more variables.

Quality Evaluation for Usability of Internet Shopping Mall (인터넷 쇼핑몰 사용성에 대한 품질평가)

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate usability quality through investigating the factors of usability for internet shopping mall websites. For this study, previous studies were investigated and experts' discussions were held. In result, six characters of usability were chosen such as content satisfaction. customer attraction satisfaction, price information satisfaction, public security satisfaction, user interface satisfaction. and process of transaction satisfaction that affect usability of shopping mall websites and the evaluation models of 72 detailed measure factors were established. Since these 72 sub-factors inc)ode the key words of HTML, XML, JSP, and ASP from the target websites. 33 measurable sub-factors in the information were measured through usability evaluation experiment. In addition, a questionnaire about usability measure factors was executed after preferable websites and not preferable websites are selected. After that, we verified the reasonability of usability measure model factors comparing the results of the evaluation experiment with the result of the questionnaire. The time it takes to measure the usability of shopping mall websites can be reduced by using this measurement supporting tool. Also, this tool may be used to estimate the usability during the development of a shopping mall website.
