An Structural-relationship Study on the Effect of Venture Start-up's Technological Capability on Possibility of Insolvency (벤처창업기업의 기술사업 역량이 부실화리스크에 미치는 영향에 관한 구조관계 분석)

  • In this study, the effects of Venture Start-up's Technological Capabilities on Financial Stability and Possibility of Insolvency was investigated by use of SEM(Structural Equation Model). Technological Business Capabilities include CEO's Technological Capability, Management Specialization and the Feasibility of the Investment plan. The empirical data for this study were taken from the technology assessment data of Korea Technology Guarantee Fund(KTGF) on 1,419 Venture Start-ups from 2011 until 2012 and the financial data of the following 2 years of the sample. Venture Start-ups established within 7 years, were selected for this study's sample from viewpoint of their 'High-Risk High-Return' characteristic. The results are as follows : Manpower including CEO's Technology-related Knowledge and Experience, Management Organization's Technological Specialization and Cooperativeness, Reasonable Investment and Financing Planning etc. were proved to improve Financial Stability, and therefore reduce Possibility of Insolvency.

Development of Peer-Leadership Program focused on Recovery of People with Mental Illness (정신장애인 회복에 초점을 둔 당사자 리더십 프로그램 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and explore the effectiveness of a peer-leadership program on the recovery of people with mental illness. To develop the program, a literature review and an analysis of developed programs were performed.Brown's recovery framework was applied, including an understanding of mental illness, self-leadership, empowerment, and self-directed action plans. A program was developed (6 sessions over 3 days) including peer-led activities, disability awareness and perception, and recovery action plans. The program consisted of education, understanding, planning, and implementation. Its focus was on recovery-oriented activities for empowering people with mental illness. Twenty people with mental illness and using mental rehabilitation centers participated in the program. Four scales (i.e., stigma, empowerment, leadership, and disability awareness) were used for the pre-post analysis. The study results showed statistically significant differences in the participants' levels of stigma (p< .05), empowerment (p < .05), leadership (p< .01), and disability awareness (p< .05) after completing the program. These findings suggest that the peer-leadership program is a recovery program that includes increased understanding of mental illness, empowerment, and leadership capability. Discussions and suggestions were provided for a future study based on the results.

Analysis on Reflection Characteristics of the Key Competencies Proposed by the OECD Education 2030 in the 2015 Revised Home Economics Curriculum (OECD Education 2030에서 제안된 핵심역량의 2015 개정 가정과 교육과정 반영 특성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics reflected in the 2015 revised home economics curriculum for the key competencies presented in the OECD education 2030 project. The results indicate that first, in general, about 46.5% of the competencies could be classified into the skill, attitude and value category; 17% into the learning concept framework category; 24.2% into the competency development cycle category; and 12.5% into the complex competency category. Overall, the competencies of the OECD learning framework are found to be reflected primarily in the achievement standards(59%), followed by characteristics(16.1%), teaching-learning and assessments orientation(9.4%), content system(8%), and goals(7.6%). Second, the key competencies were reflected in the middle school curriculum, more often in the descending order of action, problem-solving, communication, respect, creative thinking, conflict resolution, empathy, critical thinking, self-regulation, and student agency. In the high school curriculum, the competencies were reflected more often in the descending order of action, empathy, problem-solving, anticipation, global competence, self-regulation, student agency, literacy for sustainable development, reflection, and critical thinking. Third, the heat map shows that the competencies corresponding to the third and fourth levels are most frequently reflected in the curriculum. Therefore, it is advisable to develop effective plans to execute and support the reflection of key competencies in the curriculum. Through this study, home economics educators are expected to understand the inter-connectivity between the key competencies emphasized by the OECD learning framework and the competencies of home economics as a practical subject, and to scrutinize how to help individual students develop their overall competencies and be prepared for the future.

An Analysis of Competency at Each Phase of PMC for Overseas Architecture Project Using the IPA (IPA를 활용한 해외 건축 사업 PMC 분야 단계별 업무역량 분석)

  • Overseas expansion of domestic construction over the past 10 years has been fast growing. But as a result of simple construction business practices and a focus on EPC, sales margins was reduced. Domestic construction companies have been trying to redirect business to high-value-added-areas but have faced difficulty because there areas are current monopolized by global leading companies in the field of PMC. They have recently carried out 16 PMC related project in order to expand their experience and increase their competitiveness. Most of these construction companies that do PMC overseas have been focusing on the civil engineering sector. analyzing the important and performance result 50 separate PMC tasks in detail using IPA, it became clear that domestic construction companies should also focus on tasks and were analyzed in order to advance to overseas architecture PMC sector overseas. There are large gaps in the importance and performance result of both the planning and pre-construction phase. Importance compared to the current performance levels in the planning phase gap is largest, pre-construction phase has been analyzed in the following order. In particular, one should strengthen detailed tasks in the planing phase. This study is expected to be used as a basic to determine the performance level and tasks items. It is expected strengthen the capacities of domestic companies in the PMC field, for especially in the high value-aded-areas as indicated in the results of the analysis from this study.

The Design and Development of Online System to Improve Undergraduate Students' Competency (대학생의 역량개발을 위한 온라인 시스템 설계 및 개발)

  • The objective of this study is to develop an on-line system for improving undergraduate students' competency development. After drawing elements necessary for the competency development such as assessment and planning, competency development, analysis of competency assessment, portfolio, analysis of job ability and community, based on the literature research related to competency and the analysis of the existing system, the direction of the system design was set up. The system was developed by using Microsoft Windows operating system in Windows server, ORACLE ver.10 as its database management system, and JSP and JAVA as its programing language. Reviewing errors and improvements of the system, it was modified and complemented. In order to examine the content functional utilization of the final competency development system, the utilization was verified. The competency development system for undergraduate students can be used as on-line space filled with the internalization of knowledge, self-directed competency development, convenience of record management and interactions between students-professors-alumna, owing to its functions such as boosting competency activities, cultivating career-pioneering ability and introspecting. When it is rare to find researches on the competency development system for undergraduate students, it is expected to be helpful to the development of competency education and the career education for undergraduate students as a new alternative for the competency development.

Development of AHP-based Aviation Logistics MPE Company's Production Management Job Training (AHP 기반 항공물류 소부장 전문기업의 생산관리 직무교육 개발 방안)

  • In this study, AHP-based production management job training was developed for MPE companies in the aviation logistics industry. The AHP model was designed with upper and lower classes. Purchase management competency, material management competency, process management competency, and SCM competency were selected as factors of the upper class of production management job training. Lower class evaluation factors were selected for each upper class. As a result of AHP analysis, the relative importance of the upper class evaluation factors was found in the order of SCM competency (0.322), process management competency (0.314), material management competency (0.201), and purchase management competency (0.163). Among the upper classes, it was analyzed that the importance of SCM competency and process management competency was high. The final priority of evaluation factors for the development of the production management curriculum of MPE companies in the aviation logistics industry was analyzed as follows. First, supply chain performance management, which is the lower layer of SCM competency, was analyzed as the top priority factor, and the priorities of evaluation factors were derived such as facility preservation management, which is the lower layer of SCM competency, supply chain production operation, which is the lower layer of SCM competency, process quality management, which is the lower layer of SCM competency, supply chain transportation management, and supply chain supply plan, which are the lower layers of SCM competency

Urban Planning in Post-COVID-19 Era: Humanist Perspective Revisited (포스트코로나 시대의 도시계획: 휴머니즘 시각의 재고)

  • COVID-19 is wreaking havoc on a grand scale while causing us great confusion. Due to this unpredictable situation, we are concerned with public health, political, and economic issues as well as the great transformation of human civilization. Among the various discussions, this study asks questions about the future direction of urban planning in the context of the era of uncertainty and the posthuman era in which modern artificial intelligence and technological systems are combined with human life. How can we plan our cities and regions in the future, that is to say, what is the normative basis of our planning? And what can we consider as the first step in concrete practice? To find answers to these questions, this study sheds light on the philosophical review of Martha Nussbaum's compassion and capabilities approach. In line with her perspective, by introducing the humanist planning that has been discussed recently in the academic field, we could depict our cities of tomorrow that we should pursue in post-COVID-19 era.

  • 최근 재난은 대형화, 복합적, 다양화되는 양상을 보이는 가운데, 효율적인 재난관리를 위해 정부 중심 거버넌스 재난관리에 대한 변화가 불가피하다. 현장 중심의 재난관리 체계 구축을 위해서는 국민생활과 밀접한 지방공공기관의 재난관리에 대한 역량을 배양하는 제도적 개선이 요구된다. 이를 위해서는 지방공공기관의 재난관리에 대한 역할의 재정립, 재난·안전관리에 대한 평가지표의 개선, 기능연속성계획 수립을 위한 정부의 지원책 마련 등 현행 제도를 보완해야 한다. 특히 사회통합적 재난관리로 전환하여 재난 현장의 최일선에서 효과적인 대응이 이루어질 수 있는 기반이 필요하다. 하여 본 연구는 지방공기업의 재난관리 역량 강화를 위한 개선 방안으로 실제적 법제도 개선의 토대를 마련하고자 한다.

차세대 원자로 개발 정책방향

  • 새로운 원자로를 우리자체의 역량으로 개발하는 데에는 막대한 자금과 인력, 그리고 장기간이 소요되고 관련 산업계에 미치는 영향도 지대하므로, 각계 의견을 최대한 수렴하여 단계적으로 추진하여야 할것이다. 우선 전반적인 연구개발 계획의 수립을 위하여 연구기획 조정위원회를 구성하고 연구개발 단계별 목표와 수행체계를 신중히 설정하고자 한다. 특히, 연구개발계획의 최종목표 달성 여부를 입증할 수 있는 실증로의 개념을 Prototype Reactor으로 할 것인지, 또는 Demonstration Reactor로 할 것인지를 신중히 결정해야 할 것이다. 또한, 전문인력 수급 차원에서 현재 추진되고 잇는 원전 표준화 사업을 고려하여 연구개발 계획에 의한 소요인력 집중 시기를 조정할 수 있어야 할 것이다. 한편 우리나라 원자력 기술기반은 주로 가압경수로 기술로서 차세대 원자로 기술개발에 무리없이 연계될 수 있겠으나, 새로운 기술개념에 대한 기술화보를 위하여 국제적인 연구개발계획에 가급적 적극참여하여야 할 것이며, 차세대 원자로 개발계획을 통하여 우리나라 원자력계에 종사하는 산.학.연 전문가 모두의 지혜와 잠재력이 결집될 수 있는 계기가 될 것을 바라마지 않는다.

Teaching Competencies of University Professors in Future Society (미래 사회 대학 교원의 교수(teaching)역량 프레임 제안)

  • This study explored the theoretical basis of the teaching competency of university professors in the future society represented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution through literature analysis and the researcher's council. To this end, this study first derived the implications for cultivating of teaching competency of university professors according to the social needs of future social universities. Next, according to the social needs of future social universities, the teaching competency required for university professors was presented. Finally, based on this theoretical argument, the concept of teaching competency of professors in the future society was defined and its sub-elements were presented. As a result of this study, the teaching competency frame of professors in the future society was proposed with 8 capabilities in 3 areas including 2 ability to respond to change, 2 ability to promote innovation, and 4 ability to instruct. Through the theoretical basis proposed in this study, it is hoped that the university professors' teaching competency development plan will be established to prepare for the instability of the uncertain future in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. In addition, it is expected that innovation and change strategies of each university will be established, and class innovation strategies will be established to meet the needs of students.
