An Analysis of Application by Formwork in Concrete Structural Frame Work for Tall Building in Korea (국내 초고층 골조공사의 거푸집벽 적용성 분석)

  • A proper selection of formwork greatly affects project success in tall building construction. The tall building construction, however, has not been selected properly using the characteristics by formwork and demands the comprehensive consideration of cost, duration, quality, safety, and environment. Therefore, this study compares and analyzes the application by formwork of five aspects. In order to perform an analysis, the questionnaire was performed to research the priority order of management as determining formwork and application by formwork of tall building construction engineers. This study is expected to help reasonable selection of formwork.

  • The growth of Korea's construction industry is on the decrease, and it has caused the market of remodeling to be boosted up. But it's not that long people to get interested in the business of remodeling. So, the understanding and recognition in each remodeling process are not systematically formed yet and of which study and experience are insufficient as well, which may produce lots of problem after finishing these businesses. For resolving these problems, the make-up of remodeling process in the plan of operation will help us to reasonably and efficiently construct the basis of the business of remodeling which can be a way for efficient management and corresponded to national construction surroundings. The result of this study is as follows.

  • Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) is an illness symptom such as irritation of eyes, skin eruption and vomit ing in newly constructed buildings. It is mainly due to the harmful gases from the materials installed in building such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Semivolatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs), floating bacteria, fungi, fungal spores and viruses, human bioeffluents in many modem buildings. The general ways to improve the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) are ventilating, utilizing eco-material without harmful gases and reducing or removing harmful gases through additional treatment to the building materials. This study aimed to improve the Indoor Air Quality(IAQ) by applying surface coating on the building materials and to make safe living environments through the analysis of air quality before and after surface coating treatment in buildings.

  • The application contents, process, and its limitations are discussed for the setting of Korean legal guides & criteria for water cycle and ecological condition in development project of land use by thorough comparison and examination of prerequisites and credits of water cycle and soil+vegetation by USA's SITES (Sustainable Sites Initiative). In the case of SITES, due to the implementation procedure operated as a non-governmental independent assessment system by Green Business Certification, Inc, the natural condition of water cycle and soil-vegetation items-the key element of ecosystem services can be quantitatively assessed, well along with its legal and institutional guidelines and regulations. On the other hand, in the case of Korea, as a part of the national certification procedure for green building, the ecological area ratio system still have very limited role as an only amenity resource in the creation of artificial green spaces and insufficiency of management system for rain water. In conclusion, it was understood as an urgent situation in necessary for prompt establishment of site's sustainability certification system at the national level, based on management of water circulation and natural soil & vegetation in developed area with consideration of various land uses and types of development projects.

  • This study investigated the process of change of 32 urban parks designated during the period of Japanese colonial rule according to growth and development of the city in Busan. Particularly, researching included analyizing books, notification, data, and documents relevant to the history of urban planning published by Busan city. As a result, Daejeong Park, Gokwan Park, and Yongdusan Park had been utilized by Japanese residents under the Japanese colonial rule before planning of urban parks, and 32 parks legally specified in 1944 were planned by considering the prevention against disasters. After emancipation, there were an unauthorized building, housing construction, business district, public office, and school facility in the sites of the parks due to the influence of the Korean War and reorganization of urban planning. The majority of parkways and small parks downtown were eliminated. However, unexecuted parks that the government had designed on the edge of town during the Japanese colonial period have become major parks downtown through the city's growth. Yeonji Park, Yangjeong Park, and Danggok Park have been being building as a business of parks for a comfortable city, forming downtown along with the Green-Busan Policy. Thus, 32 parks designated under the Japanese colonial rule have made or got out of use reflecting on the phases of the times of modern Korean society. It turns out that these parks need an investigation about condition for land possession and purchase of the site of the parks in order for social common capital.

Strategic Management of the Policy for Seoul City's Hangang Renaissance (네트워크 분석적 의사결정방법(ANP)을 이용한 서울시 한강르네상스 정책의 전략적 관리방안)

  • This study was performed for the purpose of reviewing the strategic management direction and ideas of the policy for Seoul City's Hangang Renaissance. In order to accomplish this, levels were established for each step of the policy and the policy priority by level was derived. The policy priority by level was analyzed by a decision making model through the Analytic Network Process(ANP) and the priority would be the standard to judge the order of priority. The analysis results showed that there was not a big difference between the priorities of two basic concepts: restoration and creation. The fourth level, detail plan of the third level, showed priority that development by type for waterside city in case of reorganizing city space and diversification of land utilization, utilization of riverside space in water front town for public and composit purpose, establishment of comprehensive plan on constructions in case of improving the landscape of Hangang and unified design plan rose to important element in case of forming Hangang park with the me. Based on the results of priority analysis, we would like to propose for the direction about the policy on Hangang Renaissance project, the policies forming Hangang Park with theme through unified design plan and reorganizing city space have to be proceed preferentially and connected with other plans.

  • 지난 2011년 3월에 출범한 제8대 집행부는 정해돈 회장을 비롯한 회원사 모두가 한마음으로 노력한 결과 괄목할 만한 사업성과를 거두었다. 특히 설비건설업계의 오랜 숙원사업인 공공공사 분리발주 확대 법제화를 위해 각고의 노력을 기울인 끝에 국가계약법 시행령이 개정되어 올해 1월 1일부터 시행에 들어간 성과는 1994년 법 제정 이후 20년 만에 일구어낸 아주 값진 성과로 평가되고 있다. 또한 녹색건축물조성지원법 시행령에 '국토부 장관이 5년마다 기계설비 발전정책을 수립하도록 의무화'한 조문 신설로 향후 기계설비 발전계획을 정부 차원에서 수립할 수 있게 되었다. 이와 함께 건설산업 공생발전위원회를 통한 주계약자 공동도급 확대와 저가하도급 심사제도 개선 등 불공정하도급 거래 관행 개선으로 회원사의 경영환경을 크게 개선시켰다. 본지는 2011년 3월부터 2014년 2월까지 제8대 집행부의 사업실적을 점검해 본다.

소음. 진동 피해진단 기술 정립방향

  • 현재 행해지고 있는 환경 기술자에 의한 공해성 환경영향평가와 택지조성사업, 터널공사, 각종 도로공사, 건물 해체 작업시 이루어지는 발파 기술자에 의한 발파 영향평가 및 토목. 건축 기술자들에 의해 시공현장에서 주로 행해지는 기타 건설 소음. 진동 영향평가는 진단 개념에서 볼 때, 측정목적과 측정대상에 따른 각종 기준적용과 측정방법 및 분석절차 상에서 몇가지 문제점을 안고 있으며 실제 현장 계측시에도 측정위치 선정, 센서부착 방법, 측정 횟수 및 측정 모드 선정 등에서 상당한 오류를 범하는 것을 종종 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 각종 소음. 진동 영향평가의 현실태 및 피해 대상물에 대한 진단시 우려되는 기준 적용, 측정 및 분석상의 문제점들을 조사하고 개선방안을 살펴봄으로써 소음. 진동 피해진단 기술을 정립하고 향후과제에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

Field Elastic Wave and Electrical Resistivity Penetrometer for Evaluation of Elastic Moduli and Void Ratio (탄성계수 및 간극비 평가를 위한 현장 관입형 탄성파 및 전기비저항 프로브)

  • The shear stiffness has become an important design parameter to understand the soil behavior. In particular, the elastic moduli and void ratio has been considered as important parameters for the design of the geotechnical structures. The objective of this paper is the development of the penetration type Field Velocity and Resistivity Probe (FVRP) which is able to assess the elastic moduli and void ratio based on the elastic wave velocities and electrical resistivity. The elastic waves including the compressional and shear wave are measured by piezo disk elements and bender elements. And the electrical resistivity is measured by the resistivity probe, which is manufactured and installed at the tip of the FVRP. The penetration tests are carried out in calibration chamber and field. In the laboratory calibration chamber test, after the sand-clay slurry mixtures are prepared and consolidated. The FVRP is progressively penetrated and the data are measured at each 1 cm. The field experiment is also carried out in the southern part of Korea Peninsular. Data gathering is performed in the depth of 6~20 m at each 10 cm. The elastic moduli and void ratio are estimated based on the analytical and empirical solutions by using the elastic wave velocities and electrical resistivity measured in the chamber and field. The void ratios based on the elastic wave velocities and the electrical resistivity are similar to the volume based void ratio. This study suggests that the FVRP, which evaluates the elastic wave velocities and the electrical resistivity, may be a useful instrument for assessing the elastic moduli and void ratio in soft soils.
