This study developed an efficient model for measuring personal information competency in an enterprise of the information environment. This model includes four measurement domains, twelve factors and feasible measurement items. This verified the validity and reliability of the developed model by factor analysis and reliability analysis through a pilot test with the application of SPSS software, and presented the concrete measurement items that tn efficiently gauge personal information competency. The developed model was applied to the measurement of 264 workers in an enterprise in order to testify its practicability and utilization, and the measurement results were presented. This model will contribute to improving the information competency of human resources in industrial fields.

Recently in order to ensure future competitiveness in schooling a paradigm shift which focuses on key competency is demanded. In these circumstances, there are lots of researches on competency in other subjects. However, in informatics the number of researches relate to competency is lacking. Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop competency model for teacher of informatics in high school. For achieving this purpose, we develop research methods and procedures, and conduct several researches such as Focus Group Interview and surveys. Overall research process of this study is as follows: First, we develop competencies of informatics teachers, which consist of 6 categories, 17 competencies, and 66 behavioral indexes as a draft. Second, we verify the content validity of the competencies through FGI, and revise the competencies into 5 categories, 11 competency-units, and 159 behavioral indexes. Third, we conduct a survey for verification of the revised content validity again to informatics teachers, professors and researches. As a result, the major findings of the survey reveal that the Conbarch's ${\alpha}$ of each competency-units is over .9, and that the appropriateness of all items is over 3.5. According to this result, we confirm our competency model for teacher of informatics in secondary education.

This study examines the effects of the organizational and individual capabilities on employee' job satisfaction and work performance. The proposed research model and developed hypotheses were tested using structural equations modeling based on data collected from 243 care team members (doctor and nurse) in hospitals with more than 500 beds in South Korea. The results of study confirm the positive effects of organizational capabilities on job satisfaction and work performance, but individual capabilities did not significant effects on job satisfaction. In addition, there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and work performance. The study provides valuable insights to hospital top management and administrators, institutions, and policy-makers about the importance of developing organizational and individual capabilities.

This study was carried out for two purposes. One is to analyse the relationship between export performance and the five capabilities of R&D intensive firms (new product development, overseas market information, SNS and communications, brand and marketing). The second purpose is to verify the difference in those capabilities between R&D intensive small companies and mid-sized companies. Based on the OECD's classification of "technology intensity", R&D intensive firms are defined as the firms which are investing more than 5% of their annual sales in R&D activities. This study reveals the significant and positive relationships between the export performance and three capabilities( overseas market information, SNS and communication, brand) except for new product development capabilities and marketing capabilities. Those capabilities increase export performance. On the other hand, this study finds a significant difference in overseas market information capabilities and brand competence between R & D-intensive SMEs and mid sized companies. It is shown that those two capabilities in the mid sized firms are stronger than in the SMEs. These findings have important implications for the growth of R&D intensive SMEs in the global market. First, for higher export performance of R&D intensive firms, three capabilities such as overseas market information, SNS-communication and brand should be strengtened. In particular, SNS-communication capabilities as innovative marketing competences should be developed together with traditional marketing capabilities. Second, the growth of SMEs into Mid-sized firms needs the development of brand competences and overseas market information capabilities.

Higher educational institutions face an increasing demand for developing a renewed set of competencies of college students who will live in the knowledge-based society. However, relatively little is known about what constitutes the core competencies that college students need to develop and how we can improve them. Nine categories of core competencies required for college graduates were drawn from the previous research and examples of core competencies developed by other institutions. They are analytic thinking skills, problem-solving skills, communicating skills, collaborative working skills, and etc. A reading guidance course for strengthening core competencies, developed based on the teaching and learning methods was adapted to students of LIS for one semester. Implications of these and related findings are discussed.

본 논문에서는 창의융합적 아이디어가 세상을 바꾸는 4차 산업혁명시대를 대비하기 위해 경찰·경비분야에 요구되는 핵심역량을 도출하고 진단도구를 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 K시 소재 대학의 경찰·경비관련 학과에 재학중인 66명을 연구대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 경찰·경비분야의 직무, 과업, 역할을 수행하는 데 필요한 법집행, 상황대응, 정보수집, 지휘통솔 등 직무영역에서 9개의 전공능력이 미래사회에 대비하기 위해 전공자들에게 우선적으로 요구되는 핵심역량으로 도출되었다. 이러한 결과는 역량기반 전공 교육과정 개선과 교육성과 관리를 위한 자료로 활용이 가능하다. 또한 개인의 전공능력 수준을 진단하여 역량 증진 프로그램을 실시할 수 있으며, 역량기반 교육과정에 대한 성과확산과 각종 비교과 교육프로그램 지원과 선정을 위한 교육성과 지표로도 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Competency is an extended concept rather than knowledge and skill, which means the ability to efficiently and rationally solve various problems. This study focuses on the core competencies presented in the 2015 Revised Informatics Curriculum and aims to analyze the constitution method and composition of domestic and overseas Instruments that can measure core competencies. As a result of analyzing 12 Instruments developed by the countries and organizations, nine Instruments measure two or more competencies based on computing thinking, information culture literacy, and cooperative problem solving ability. Three Instruments have one competency were measured. Ten instruments were computer based tests, and 50% of the items were developed by two or more of multiple choice item, subjective item, and descriptive item. It is important to note that this study provided a crucial step in the development of Instruments to diagnose competencies to be developed into informatics science education.

Team-based programming methods are widely applied to solve various difficulties that pre-service teachers experience in the programming lessons. To prepare effective collaboration strategies necessary for them, it is necessary to analyze various collaborative factors that affect learners' programming competencies. Therefore, in this article, a questionnaire survey was conducted by dividing learners' collaboration factors into individual and team competencies, and the relationship between learners' programming competencies was analyzed. As a result of the verification, the program design competency showed significant results in all elements of the learner's personal competency, team techniques such as data sharing skills necessary for collaboration, and team collaboration. It was analyzed that an individual's understanding of learning and team collaboration influenced the program implementation competency. In addition, the group with relatively high team technique showed significant differences in programming competence, interest, and satisfaction. Accordingly, by linking meaningful factors related to individual and team competencies according to the programming process, a collaborative strategy practically necessary for pre-service teachers was suggested.

In this paper, we propose to develop a diagnosis tool for measuring digital competence for university student. To this end, 223 students participated for the survey research. Based on the survey by 6 domain and 40 questions, 6 factors and 18 questions for digital competence measurement were drawn throughout the factors analysis. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis showed the fact that 6 factors and 18 questions that satisfied the model-fit indexes statistically were finally confirmed. And the developed tool demonstrated good results in reliability and validity verification, which were suitable for measuring digital competence for university students. The developed measurement tool of digital competence for university students consisted of 6 sub-components such digital device operation, communication and collaboration, information searching, processing, and management, problem solving and learning, security, digital ethics. The digital competence measuring tool developed in this study is expected to be used to identify the current level of competences for university student, and to enhance their own digital competences through educational supports.

This study aimed to analyze the content of Records Data Management (RDM) training programs provided by 51 out of 121 university libraries in North America that implemented RDM services, and to provide implications from the results. For the content analysis, 317 titles of classroom training programs and 42 headings at the highest level from the tables of content of online tutorials were collected and coded based on 12 data literacy competencies identified from previous studies. Among classroom training programs, those regarding data processing and analysis competency were offered the most. The highest number of the libraries provided classroom training programs in relation to data management and organization competency. The third most classroom training programs dealt with data visualization and representation competency. However, each of the remaining 9 competencies was covered by only a few classroom training programs, and this implied that classroom training programs focused on the particular data literacy competencies. There were five university libraries that developed and provided their own online tutorials. The analysis of the headings showed that the competencies of data preservation, ethics and data citation, and data management and organization were mainly covered and the difference existed in the competencies stressed by the classroom training programs. For effective RDM training program, it is necessary to understand and support the education of data literacy competencies that researchers need to draw research results, in addition to competencies that university librarians traditionally have taught and emphasized. It is also needed to develop educational resources that support continuing education for the librarians involved in RDM services.
