학습동기향상프로그램이 학습부진 간호대학생의 학업적 자기효능감, 학습습관 및 자아존중감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Learning Motive Enhancing Program on Academic Self Efficacy, Learning Habits, and Self Esteem in Underachieve Nursing College Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of learning motive enhancing program on academic self efficacy, learning habits, and self esteem in underachieve nursing college students. Method: This study was an one group pre and post test design. Underachievers in nursing college (n=38) were participated. Learning motive enhancing program was carried out for 110 minutes a week for 8 weeks. Academic self efficacy was measured by an academic self efficacy scale developed by Kim ae young & Park in young in 2001. To assess learning habits, the learning habits measurement scale developed by Kim young jin was used. Self esteem was measured by Rosenberg's self esteem scale. Result: After completing the learning motive enhancing program, significant improvement was found in learning habit and self esteem. As for sub-factors, efficacy for self confidence among academic self efficacy showed significant differences after treatment. Conclusion: Learning motive enhancing program appears to be effective in increasing learning habit and self-esteem of underachievers in nursing college students.

억제대 사용에 대한 간호사 교육프로그램의 효과 (Effects of on Education Program for Nurses on the Use of Restraints)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to verify the effects of an education program of restraints use on nurses' knowledge, attitude and nursing performance related to restraints use. Method: A quasi experimental study with a pre and post non-equivalent design was used. The subjects were nurses who met the selection criteria and worked in intensive care units of two university hospitals located at K-city, Gyeongbuk. Twenty nurses in A hospital were designated as the experimental group and 20 nurses in B hospital as the control group. Result: The first hypothesis which assumed that the experimental group would have higher scores of knowledge than the control group was supported(F=62.66, p=0.000). The second hypothesis which assumed that the experimental group would have lower scores of attitude toward using restraints than the control group was supported(F=23.77, p=0.000). The third hypothesis which assumed that the experimental group would have higher scores of nursing performance than the control group was supported(F=3.28, p=0.032). Conclusion: An education program for nurses' on the use of restraints needs to be introduced to decrease inappropriate use of restraints.

입원 아동의 말초정맥주사 유지관리를 위한 보호자 대상 동영상 교육 프로그램 개발 (Effects of a Video Education Program for Caregivers on the Maintenance of Peripheral Intravenous Catheter among Hospitalized Children)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a video education program (VEP) for the caregivers and to verify its effectiveness on the maintenance of a peripheral intravenous catheter (PIVC) among hospitalized children. Methods: The VEP was developed through a literature review, educational need assessment of caregivers, and interviews with pediatric nurses, and validation of an expert group. The effectiveness of the VEP was tested on 102 caregivers and their children in a children's hospital at D city. A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used in which different types of intervention were given to caregivers in intervention group (n=51) and control group (n=51). All caregivers received brief verbal information about the PIVC maintenance. The intervention group was additionally provided with VEP using a smartphone. Data were analyzed using SPSS/Win 21.0 program. Results: The caregivers' knowledge score on PIVC maintenance in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group. The numbers of flushing in case of blockage of PIVC and gauze dressing change of the intervention group was significantly lower than those of the control group. Conclusion: These results suggest that the VEP developed in this study can be useful for the maintenance of PIVC among hospitalized children.

SBAR를 적용한 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성, 의사소통자신감, 임상의사결정능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Simulation Training applying SBAR for Nursing Students on Communication Clarity, Self-Confidence in Communication, and Clinical Decision-Making Ability)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생들이 의료인들과 인수인계 시 명확한 정보전달에 어려움이 있는 점을 개선하기 위하여 SBAR 적용 시뮬레이션 교육을 시행하여 그들의 의사소통명확성, 의사소통자신감, 임상의사결정능력에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 단일군전후설계실험연구이다. 산모와 신생아의 응급상황을 기반으로 한 시뮬레이션 실습과 SBAR교육을 접목하여 의료진에게 응급상황에 대해 명료하고 간략하게 핵심을 전달하고, 의사소통 역량을 증진시킬 수 있도록 프로그램을 적용하였다. 대상자는 B광역시 소재 1개 대학의 4학년 간호대학생 91명이며, 자료수집기간은 2019년 2월 18일부터 2019년 2월 28일까지이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 21.0 program을 이용하여 paired t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 시뮬레이션 실습 후에 측정한 의사소통 명확성(t=-3.99, p<.001), 의사소통 자신감(t=-8.60, p<.001), 임상의사결정능력이(t=-4.66, p<.001) 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였다. 따라서 예비의료인으로써 간호대학생의 임상현장에서의 의사소통능력과 임상의사결정능력을 증진시키기 위해 SBAR를 적용한 시뮬레이션실습 교육프로그램을 통해 간호대학생들의 전문성을 고취시키고, 임상현장에서의 적응력을 높이고자 한 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 크다. 또한 간호교육현장에서 의료인들 간의 의사소통을 체계화하기 위해서는 시뮬레이션 실습 뿐만 아니라 일반적인 임상실습에서도 SBAR보고방법이 숙련될 수 있도록 전략을 수립하여 간호대학생의 의사소통능력 향상에 기여해야 할 것으로 생각된다.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 동안 적용한 SBAR 보고교육이 의사소통명확성, 의사소통 만족도, 보고자신감, 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하고자 실시되었다. 자료수집기간은 2019년 12월 1일부터 12월 20일까지이며 2개 대학교에서 임상실습을 6주 이상 완료한 3학년을 편의 추출하였다. 대상자 수는 SBAR 보고교육을 받은 103명과 교육을 받지 않은 113명이다. 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient 등으로 분석하였다. 의사소통명확성과 의사소통능력은 양의 상관관계(r=.52, p<.001)가 있었고, 보고자신감은 의사소통만족도와 양의 상관관계(r=.53, p<.001)가 있으며, 의사소통능력은 보고자신감과 양의 상관관계(r=.46, p<.001)가 있었다. 의사소통능력은 의사소통명확성(𝛽=.29, p<.001), 의사소통만족도(𝛽=.43, p<.001), 보고자신감(𝛽=.15, p=.009)이 유의한 영향요인이었으며, 설명력은 49.0%로 나타났다. 결론적으로 간호대학생에게 임상실습 중 실무능력을 파악하여 보고체계를 강화하기 위한 교육적 제도와 교수방법의 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

간호대학생의 영적간호교육프로그램의 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effectiveness of a Spiritual Care Education Program for Nursing Students - Based on the ASSET Model)

  • Purpose: This study was done to develop a spiritual care education program (SCEP) for nursing students to help increase their awareness of the essence of spirituality in care so as to enable them to promote spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence. Methods: The participants were assigned to an experimental group (n=42) or a control group (n=39). From August to October 2009, the experimental group participated in the SCEP, which were held 2 hours a week for 6 weeks. The data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact probability test, paired t-test, t-test with the SPSS WIN 17.0 statistics program. Results: The experimental group had a higher mean score for spirituality, spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence than the control group. Significant differences were found between the experimental group and the control group. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the SCEP was effective in improving spirituality, spiritual well-being and spiritual care competence for nursing students.

융합 교육을 위한 간호대학생의 자기조절학습 구조모형 (Structural Equation Model of Self-Regulated Learning among Nursing Students for Convergence Education)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 자기조절학습에 영향을 주는 요인들의 구조 방정식 모형을 만들고 검증하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 재학 중인 간호대학생들에게 자가보고식 설문지를 작성하게 하여 273부의 자료를 구조방정식 모형으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 모형 적합지수는 적절한 수준을 나타내었고, 6개 경로 중 5개 경로는 통계적으로 유의미하여 분산의 68%를 설명하였다. 따라서 간호대학생의 자기조절학습을 증진시킬 수 있도록 자기결정동기, 대인관계유능, 성취목표지향을 향상시키는 교육이 필요하며, 이를 위해 간호대학생의 자율성과 관계성을 증진시킬 역량 강화 프로그램이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

간호대학생이 임상실습에서 경험하는 무례함, 비판적 사고성향, 임상실습스트레스에 의사소통 프로그램이 미치는 효과 (The Effects of a Communication Program on Incivility, Critical Thinking, and Clinical Practice Stress Experienced by Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: To identify the effects of a communication program on nursing students' incivility, critical thinking, and clinical practice stress. Methods: A randomized control group pretest-posttest study was conducted. Fifty randomly selected nursing students were divided into experimental and control groups. A 160-minute communication program was applied to the experimental group and a second survey was conducted two weeks later, shortly after their clinical practice. Results: There was a statistically significant difference in the incivility experienced in the clinical practice after application of the communication program, and refusal in the sub-categories of incivility was statistically significant in this group. Conclusion: It is necessary to foster communication skills for nursing students. Communication programs reduce incivility. Therefore, nursing educators need to recognize the importance of communication during clinical practice and consider incorporating it into their regular curricula.

간호조직에서의 억압에 대한 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Oppression in Nursing Organization)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호조직에서의 억압에 대한 개념의 속성을 파악함으로써 억압에서 벗어나기 위한 교육개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 함이다. 간호조직에서의 억압에 대한 속성, 선행요인, 결과요인을 밝히고자 Walker와 Avant의 방법을 이용하였고 2006년부터 2020년까지 발표된 국내 및 국외 선행연구 최종 17편을 선정하여 분석에 이용하였다. 개념의 속성은 낮은 자아존중감, 권한의 부족, 수평적 폭력이었다. 선행요인은 억압자, 위계적인 조직구조, 주변화이었으며, 결과는 직무만족도, 조직침묵, 환자안전 및 간호의 질로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 고려해보면, 간호조직 내의 억압을 벗어나기 위해서 간호사는 병원의 위계적인 근무환경 개선과 전문 간호사로서의 자기 인식이 중요하다. 따라서 간호사의 근무환경과 자기인식을 개선하기 위한 효과적인 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of virtual reality (VR) based anatomy education program on nursing students' learning presence, technology acceptance, learning motivation, and knowledge. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pre-test and post-test design was employed. The study participants included 113 nursing students (56 in the experimental group and 57 in the control group) from Ansan City. Data collection was conducted from June 1 through 23. Data were analyzed using χ2-test, Fisher's exact test, and t-test using SPSS 23.0 program. Results: The experimental group had a significant increase in learning presence, technology acceptance, and knowledge before and after the intervention compared to the control group. Conclusion: Virtual reality based anatomy education is an effective learner-centered educational program. From an educational perspective, VR anatomy education programs can improve anatomy knowledge by increasing students' acceptance of VR technology and increase their motivation to learn by increasing their sense of presence.
