  • Let ${\mathcal{G}}$ be an ultragraph and let $C^*({\mathcal{G}})$ be the associated $C^*$-algebra introduced by Tomforde. For any gauge invariant ideal $I_{(H,B)}$ of $C^*({\mathcal{G}})$, we approach the quotient $C^*$-algebra $C^*({\mathcal{G}})/I_{(H,B)}$ by the $C^*$-algebra of finite graphs and prove versions of gauge invariant and Cuntz-Krieger uniqueness theorems for it. We then describe primitive gauge invariant ideals and determine purely infinite ultragraph $C^*$-algebras (in the sense of Kirchberg-Rørdam) via Fell bundles.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with identity. We call the ring R to be an almost weakly finite conductor if for any two elements a and b in R, there exists a positive integer n such that anR ∩ bnR is finitely generated. In this article, we give some conditions for the trivial ring extensions and the amalgamated algebras to be almost weakly finite conductor rings. We investigate the transfer of these properties to trivial ring extensions and amalgamation of rings. Our results generate examples which enrich the current literature with new families of examples of nonfinite conductor weakly finite conductor rings.

  • At the present paper, we investigate bounded approximately local derivations of ℓ1-Munn algebra 𝕄I(𝒜), where I is an arbitrary non-empty set and 𝒜 is an approximately locally unital Banach algebra. Indeed, we show that if 𝒜B(𝒜, 𝒜*) and B𝒜(𝒜, 𝒜*) are reflexive, then every bounded approximately local derivation from 𝕄I(𝒜) into any Banach 𝕄I(𝒜)-bimodule X is a derivation. Finally, we apply this result to study bounded approximately local derivations of the semigroup algebra ℓ1(S), where S is a uniformly locally finite inverse semigroup.

  • In this article, we study the historical development of how the main concepts of linear algebra - matrices, vectors, and transformations - arise, are connected then integrated into a category. Also we study how linearity is recognized and integrated into algebraic and geometric viewpoint. Furthermore, we discuss, based on this, the role of linear algebra as a unifying concept in a school mathematics.
