GENERALIZED SKEW DERIVATIONS AS JORDAN HOMOMORPHISMS ON MULTILINEAR POLYNOMIALS

  • Let $\mathcal{R}$ be a prime ring of characteristic different from 2, $\mathcal{Q}_r$ be its right Martindale quotient ring and $\mathcal{C}$ be its extended centroid. Suppose that $\mathcal{G}$ is a nonzero generalized skew derivation of $\mathcal{R}$, ${\alpha}$ is the associated automorphism of $\mathcal{G}$, f($x_1$, ${\cdots}$, $x_n$) is a non-central multilinear polynomial over $\mathcal{C}$ with n non-commuting variables and $$\mathcal{S}=\{f(r_1,{\cdots},r_n)\left|r_1,{\cdots},r_n{\in}\mathcal{R}\}$$. If $\mathcal{G}$ acts as a Jordan homomorphism on $\mathcal{S}$, then either $\mathcal{G}(x)=x$ for all $x{\in}\mathcal{R}$, or $\mathcal{G}={\alpha}$.

  • Let R be a prime ring, Qr be the right Martindale quotient ring and C be the extended centroid of R. If �� be a nonzero generalized skew derivation of R and f(x1, x2, ⋯, xn) be a multilinear polynomial over C such that (��(f(x1, x2, ⋯, xn)) - f(x1, x2, ⋯, xn)) ∈ C for all x1, x2, ⋯, xn ∈ R, then either f(x1, x2, ⋯, xn) is central valued on R or R satisfies the standard identity s4(x1, x2, x3, x4).

  • In this paper, we introduce the multi-derivations on rings and present some examples of such derivations. Then, we unify the system of functional equations defining a multi-derivation to a single formula. Applying a fixed point theorem, we will establish the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of multi-derivations in Banach module whose upper bounds are controlled by a general function. Moreover, we give some important applications of this result to obtain the known stability outcomes.

  • Using the fixed point method, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of homomorphisms in Banach algebras and of derivations on Banach algebras for the 3-variable Cauchy functional equation.

  • In this article we study two Multiplicative (generalized)- derivations ${\mathcal{G}}$ and ${\mathcal{H}}$ that satisfying certain conditions in semiprime rings and tried to find out some information about the associated maps. Moreover, an example is given to demonstrate that the semiprimeness imposed on the hypothesis of the various results is essential.

  • This paper is a direct continuation of [1]. In this paper we investigate some properties of ES-curvature tensor of g - $ESX_n$, with main emphasis on the derivation of several useful generalized identities involving it. In this subsequent paper, we are concerned with contracted curvature tensors of g - $ESX_n$ and several generalized identities involving them. In particular, we prove the first variation of the generalized Bianchi's identity in g - $ESX_n$, which has a great deal of useful physical applications.

  • The theory of generalized Bessel functions is reformulated within the framework of an operational formalism using the multiplier representation of the Lie group $T_3$ as suggested by Miller. This point of view provides more efficient tools which allow the derivation of generating functions of generalized Bessel functions. A few special cases of interest are also discussed.
