  • In this paper we extend the two q-additions with powers in the umbrae, define a q-multinomial-coefficient, which implies a vector version of the q-binomial theorem, and an arbitrary complex power of a JHC power series is shown to be equivalent to a special case of the first q-Lauricella function. We then present several q-analogues of hypergeometric integral formulas from the two books by Exton and the paper by Choi and Rathie. We also find multiple q-analogues of hypergeometric integral formulas from the recent paper by Kim. Finally, we prove several multiple q-hypergeometric integral formulas emanating from a paper by Koschmieder, which are special cases of more general formulas by Exton.

  • In this paper, we define a new subclass of k-uniformly starlike functions of order γ (0 ≤ γ < 1) by using certain generalized q-integral operator. We explore geometric interpretation of the functions in this class by connecting it with conic domains. We also investigate q-sufficient coefficient condition, q-Fekete-Szegö inequalities, q-Bieberbach-De Branges type coefficient estimates and radius problem for functions in this class. We conclude this paper by introducing an analogous subclass of k-uniformly convex functions of order γ by using the generalized q-integral operator. We omit the results for this new class because they can be directly translated from the corresponding results of our main class.

  • An intergral C-V converter is proposed to solve the nonlinearity problem of capacitive pressure sensors. The integral C-V converter consists of a switched-capacitor integrator and a switched-capacitor differential amplifier. It converts the sensor capacitance change which is inversely proportional to an applied pressure into a linear voltage output. Various PSPICE simulations prove that the convertor has excellent characteristics, such as low nonlinearity less than 0.01%/FS and low sensitivity to parallel offset capacitance and parasitic capacitance for the displacement range of sensor diaphragm set to 0 ${\sim}$ 90% of the initial distance between the electrodes in the simulation. We also show that the offset compensation and the gain trimming are easily achieved with the integral C-V converter.

  • This paper presents the results of a series of performance tests for the integral Stirling cryocooler. Infrared sensor systems incorporating cryocoolers are required to be qualified to the appropriate environmental specification. Integral Stirling cryocooler for thermal imaging system have matured to the stage of undergoing formal qualification test program. The thermal environmental test of the Stirling cryocooler is presented in this paper. We performed that low and high temperature keeping test from $-40^{\circ}C$ to $+71^{\circ}C$ and operating test at high and low temperature cyclic range with acceptance tests performed at scheduled intervals. Cooldown time to 80K and steady state input power at 80K were determined as a function of cooler components temperatures at the compressor, hot end and cold tip. Tests performed on this cooler have been successful with a measured cooldown time to 80K of less than 5 minutes 24seconds for $71^{\circ}C$ ambient temperature with input power of 11W

  • Let C0[0, T] denote the Wiener space, the space of continuous functions x(t) on [0, T] such that x(0) = 0. Define a random vector $Z_{\vec{e},k}:C_0[0,\;T] {\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}^k$ by $$Z_{\vec{e},k}(x)=({\normalsize\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_0}^T}\;e_1(t)dx(t),\;{\ldots},\;{\normalsize\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_0}^T}\;ek(t)dx(t))$$ where ej ∈ L2[0, T] with ej ≠ 0 a.e., j = 1, …, k. In this paper we study the conditional Fourier-Feynman transform and a conditional convolution product for a cylinder type functionals defined on C0[0, T] with a general vector valued conditioning functions $Z_{\vec{e},k}$ above which need not depend upon the values of x at only finitely many points in (0, T] rather than a conditioning function X(x) = (x(t1), …, x(tn)) where 0 < t1 < … < tn = T. In particular we show that the conditional Fourier-Feynman transform of the conditional convolution product is the product of conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms.

  • The high temperature fatigue crack growth behavior of SUS 304 stainless steel at $550^{\circ}C$ and $650^{\circ}C$ was investigated under various kinds of stress ratio and frequency in sinusoidal waveform on the basis of the non-linear fracture mechanics. The result arranging crack growth rate by modified J-integral J' showed influence of stress ratio and frequency. All the data obtained under the test at $550^{\circ}C$ were plotted within data band of da/dN-${\triangle}J_f$ relationship for cycle-dependent crack growth. On the basis of static creep and cycle-dependent data band; both time- and cycle-dependent crack growth behavior was observed under loading conditions at $650^{\circ}C$, but cycle-dependent crack growth behavior predominantly appeared and time-dependent crack growth behaviour was little observed under loading conditions at $550^{\circ}C$. Fractographic examinations for fracture surface indicated that the fracture mode was generally transgranular. The stripes were found on fracture surface and each stripe was accompanied by a crack tip blunting and an abrupt increase in the load-point displacement. The $J'_{an}$ had a validity in case of $650^{\circ}C, but scarcely had it in case of $550^{\circ}C$.

  • Let C[0, t] denote the space of real-valued continuous functions on [0, t] and define a random vector $Z_n:C[0,t]{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}^n$ by $Z_n(x)=(\int_{0}^{t_1}h(s)dx(s),{\ldots},\int_{0}^{t_n}h(s)dx(s))$, where 0 < $t_1$ < ${\cdots}$ < $ t_n=t$ is a partition of [0, t] and $h{\in}L_2[0,t]$ with $h{\neq}0$ a.e. Using a simple formula for a conditional expectation on C[0, t] with $Z_n$, we evaluate a generalized analytic conditional Wiener integral of the function $G_r(x)=F(x){\Psi}(\int_{0}^{t}v_1(s)dx(s),{\ldots},\int_{0}^{t}v_r(s)dx(s))$ for F in a Banach algebra and for ${\Psi}=f+{\phi}$ which need not be bounded or continuous, where $f{\in}L_p(\mathbb{R}^r)(1{\leq}p{\leq}{\infty})$, {$v_1,{\ldots},v_r$} is an orthonormal subset of $L_2[0,t]$ and ${\phi}$ is the Fourier transform of a measure of bounded variation over $\mathbb{R}^r$. Finally we establish various change of scale transformations for the generalized analytic conditional Wiener integrals of $G_r$ with the conditioning function $Z_n$.

  • We consider the hypergeometric translation operator associated to the Cherednik operators and the Heckman-Opdam theory attached to the root system of type $B_2$. We prove in this paper that these operators are positivity preserving and allow positive integral representations. In particular we deduce that the product formulas of the Opdam-Cherednik and the Heckman-Opdam kernels are positive integral transforms, and we obtain best estimates of these kernels. The method used to obtain the previous results shows that these results are also true in the case of the root system of type $C_2$.

  • High temperature low cycle fatigue shows that cycle-dependent crack growth owing to cyclic plastic deformation occurred simultaneosly with time-dependent crack growth owing to intergranular deformation. Consequently, to estimate crack growth rate uniquely, many to investigators have proposed various kinds of parameters and theories but these could not produce satisfactory results. Therefore the goal of this study is focused on prediction of crack growth rate using predominant damage rule, linear cumulative damage rule and transitional parameter ${\Delta}J_c/{\Delta}J_f$. On the basis of these sinusoidal loading waveform at 600$^{\circ}C$ and 700$^{\circ}C$.

  • Describing the group of units $U({\mathbb{Z}}G)$ of the integral group ring ${\mathbb{Z}}G$, for a finite group G, is a classical and open problem. In this note, we show that $$U_1({\mathbb{Z}}[T{\times}C_2]){\sim_=}[F_{97}{\rtimes}F_5]{\rtimes}[T{\times}C_2]$$, where $T={\langle}a,b:a^6=1,a^3=b^2,ba=a^5b{\rangle}$ and $F_{97}$, $F_5$ are free groups of ranks 97 and 5, respectively.
