  • The main purpose of the paper is to prove that if a compact Riemannian manifold admits a gradient ${\rho}$-Einstein soliton such that the gradient Einstein potential is a non-trivial conformal vector field, then the manifold is isometric to the Euclidean sphere. We have showed that a Riemannian manifold satisfying gradient ${\rho}$-Einstein soliton with convex Einstein potential possesses non-negative scalar curvature. We have also deduced a sufficient condition for a Riemannian manifold to be compact which satisfies almost ${\eta}$-Ricci soliton.

  • The purpose of this article is to study the Ricci solitons and Ricci almost solitons on para-Kenmotsu manifold. First, we prove that if a para-Kenmotsu metric represents a Ricci soliton with the soliton vector field V is contact, then it is Einstein and the soliton is shrinking. Next, we prove that if a ${\eta}$-Einstein para-Kenmotsu metric represents a Ricci soliton, then it is Einstein with constant scalar curvature and the soliton is shrinking. Further, we prove that if a para-Kenmotsu metric represents a gradient Ricci almost soliton, then it is ${\eta}$-Einstein. This result is also hold for Ricci almost soliton if the potential vector field V is pointwise collinear with the Reeb vector field ${\xi}$.

  • The purpose of the paper is to study of Para-Kenmotsu metric as a 𝜂-Ricci soliton. The paper is organized as follows: • If an 𝜂-Einstein para-Kenmotsu metric represents an 𝜂-Ricci soliton with flow vector field V, then it is Einstein with constant scalar curvature r = -2n(2n + 1). • If a para-Kenmotsu metric g represents an 𝜂-Ricci soliton with the flow vector field V being an infinitesimal paracontact transformation, then V is strict and the manifold is an Einstein manifold with constant scalar curvature r = -2n(2n + 1). • If a para-Kenmotsu metric g represents an 𝜂-Ricci soliton with non-zero flow vector field V being collinear with 𝜉, then the manifold is an Einstein manifold with constant scalar curvature r = -2n(2n + 1). Finally, we cited few examples to illustrate the results obtained.

  • We characterize a three-dimensional Riemannian manifold endowed with a type of semi-symmetric metric P-connection. At first, it is proven that if the metric of such a manifold is a gradient m-quasi-Einstein metric, then either the gradient of the potential function 𝜓 is collinear with the vector field P or, λ = -(m + 2) and the manifold is of constant sectional curvature -1, provided P𝜓 ≠ m. Next, it is shown that if the metric of the manifold under consideration is a gradient 𝜌-Einstein soliton, then the gradient of the potential function is collinear with the vector field P. Also, we prove that if the metric of a 3-dimensional manifold with semi-symmetric metric P-connection is a gradient 𝜔-Ricci soliton, then the manifold is of constant sectional curvature -1 and λ + 𝜇 = -2. Finally, we consider an example to verify our results.

  • The aim of the paper is to study an η-Einstein soliton on (2n + 1)-dimensional (k, µ)-contact metric manifold. At first, we establish various results related to (2n + 1)-dimensional (k, µ)-contact metric manifold that exhibit an η-Einstein soliton. Next we study some curvature conditions admitting an η-Einstein soliton on (2n+1)-dimensional (k, µ)-contact metric manifold. Furthermore, we consider specific conditions associated with an η-Einstein soliton on (2n+1)-dimensional (2n+1)-dimensional (k, µ)-contact metric manifold. Finally, we show the existance of an η-Einstein soliton on (k, µ)-contact metric manifold.

  • The notion of quasi-Einstein metric in theoretical physics and in relation with string theory is equivalent to the notion of Ricci soliton in differential geometry. Quasi-Einstein metrics or Ricci solitons serve also as solution to Ricci flow equation, which is an evolution equation for Riemannian metrics on a Riemannian manifold. Quasi-Einstein metrics are subject of great interest in both mathematics and theoretical physics. In this paper the notion of Ricci 𝜌-soliton as a generalization of Ricci soliton is defined. We are motivated by the Ricci-Bourguignon flow to define this concept. We show that if a 3-dimensional almost Kenmotsu Einstein manifold M is a 𝜌-soliton, then M is a Kenmotsu manifold of constant sectional curvature -1 and the 𝜌-soliton is expanding with λ = 2.

  • In the present paper, we aim to study Yamabe soliton and Riemann soliton on Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifold. First, we proved, if the scalar curvature of an 𝜂-Einstein Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifold M is constant, then either 𝜏 = n(n-1) or, 𝜏 = n-1. Also we constructed an example to justify this. Next, it is proved that, if a three dimensional Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifold admits a Yamabe soliton for V is an infinitesimal contact transformation and tr 𝜑 is constant, then the soliton is expanding. Also we proved that, suppose a 3-dimensional Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifold admits a Yamabe soliton, if tr 𝜑 is constant and scalar curvature 𝜏 is harmonic (i.e., ∆𝜏 = 0), then the soliton constant λ is always greater than zero with either 𝜏 = 2, or 𝜏 = 6, or λ = 6. Finally, we proved that, if an 𝜂-Einstein Lorentzian para-Sasakian manifold M represents a Riemann soliton for the potential vector field V has constant divergence then either, M is of constant curvature 1 or, V is a strict infinitesimal contact transformation.

  • The aim of the present work is to study the properties of three-dimensional Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu manifolds equipped with a Yamabe soliton. It is proved that every three-dimensional Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu manifold is Ricci semi-symmetric if and only if it is Einstein. Also, if the metric of a three-dimensional semi-symmetric Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu manifold is a Yamabe soliton, then the soliton is shrinking and the flow vector field is Killing. We also study the properties of three-dimensional Ricci symmetric and 𝜂-parallel Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu manifolds with Yamabe solitons. Finally, we give a non-trivial example of three-dimensional Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu manifold.

  • Let ($M^{2n+1}$, ${\phi}$, ${\xi}$, ${\eta}$, g) be a (k, ${\mu}$)'-almost Kenmotsu manifold with k < -1 which admits a gradient Ricci almost soliton (g, f, ${\lambda}$), where ${\lambda}$ is the soliton function and f is the potential function. In this paper, it is proved that ${\lambda}$ is a constant and this implies that $M^{2n+1}$ is locally isometric to a rigid gradient Ricci soliton ${\mathbb{H}}^{n+1}(-4){\times}{\mathbb{R}}^n$, and the soliton is expanding with ${\lambda}=-4n$. Moreover, if a three dimensional Kenmotsu manifold admits a gradient Ricci almost soliton, then either it is of constant sectional curvature -1 or the potential vector field is pointwise colinear with the Reeb vector field.

  • We investigate the geometric properties of 𝜂*-Ricci solitons on α-Lorentzian Sasakian (α-LS) manifolds, and show that a Ricci semisymmetric 𝜂*-Ricci soliton on an α-LS manifold is an 𝜂*-Einstein manifold. Further, we study 𝜑*-symmetric 𝜂*-Ricci solitons on such manifolds. We prove that 𝜑*-Ricci symmetric 𝜂*-Ricci solitons on an α-LS manifold are also 𝜂*-Einstein manifolds and provide an example of a 3-dimensional α-LS manifold for the existence of such solitons.
