BIPOLAR FUZZY SET THEORY APPLIED TO SUB-SEMIGROUPS WITH OPERATORS IN SEMIGROUPS

  • Given a set ${\Omega}$ and the notion of bipolar valued fuzzy sets, the concept of a bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroup in semigroups is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Using bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups, bipolar fuzzy sub-semigroups are constructed. Conversely, bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups are established by using bipolar fuzzy sub-semigroups. A characterizations of a bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroup is provided, and normal bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups are discussed. How the homomorphic images and inverse images of bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups become bipolar ${\Omega}$-fuzzy sub-semigroups are considered.

  • In this paper, we introduce the relatively new notion of fuzzy ${\omega}^O$-open set. We prove that the collection of all fuzzy ${\omega}^O$-open subsets of a fuzzy topological space forms a fuzzy topology that is finer than the original one. Several characterizations and properties of this class are also given as well as connections to other well-known "fuzzy generalized open" subsets.

  • Given a set ${\Omega}$, the notion of ${\Omega}-fuzzy$ ideals in a near-ring is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Using fuzzy ideals, ${\Omega}-fuzzy$ ideals are described. Conversely, fuzzy ideals are constructed by using ${\Omega}-fuzzy$ ideals.

일반화된 삼각퍼지집합에 대한 정규퍼지확률 (Normal fuzzy probability for generalized triangular fuzzy sets)

  • 확률공간 (${\Omega}$, $\mathfrak{F}$, $P$) 위에 정의된 퍼지집합을 퍼지이벤트라 한다. Zadeh는 확률 $P$를 이용하여 퍼지이벤트 $A$에 대한 확률을 정의하였다. 우리는 일반화된 삼각퍼지집합을 정의하고 거기에 확장된 대수적 작용소를 적용하였다. 일반화된 삼각퍼지집합은 대칭적이지만 함숫값으로 1을 갖지 않을 수 있다. 두 개의 일반화된 삼각퍼지집합 $A$$B$에 대하여 $A(+)B$$A(-)B$는 일반화된 사다리꼴퍼지집합이 되었지만, $A({\cdot})B$$A(/)B$는 일반화된 삼각퍼지집합도 되지 않았고 일반화된 사다리꼴퍼지집합도 되지 않았다. 그리고 정규분포를 이용하여 $\mathbb{R}$위에서 정규퍼지확률을 정의하였다. 그리고 일반화된 삼각퍼지집합에 대한 정규퍼지확률을 계산하였다.

  • A fuzzy set A defined on a probability space (${\Omega}$, $\mathfrak{F}$, P) is called a fuzzy event. Zadeh defines the probability of the fuzzy event A using the probability P. We define the normal fuzzy probability on $\mathbb{R}$ using the normal distribution. We calculate the normal fuzzy probability for generalized trapezoidal fuzzy sets and give some examples.

Fuzzy Applications in a Multi-Machine Power System Stabilizer

  • This paper proposes the use of fuzzy applications to a 4-machine and 10-bus system to check stability in open conditions. Fuzzy controllers and the excitation of a synchronous generator are added. Power system stabilizers (PSSs) are added to the excitation system to enhance damping during low frequency oscillations. A fuzzy logic power system stabilizer (PSS) for stability enhancement of a multi-machine power system is also presented. To attain stability enhancement, speed deviation ($\Delta\omega$) and acceleration ($\Delta\varpi$) of the Kota Thermal synchronous generator rotor are taken as inputs to the fuzzy logic controller. These variables have significant effects on the damping of generator shaft mechanical oscillations. The stabilizing signals are computed using fuzzy membership functions that are dependent on these variables. The performance of the fuzzy logic PSS is compared with the open power system, after which the simulations are tested under different operating conditions and changes in reference voltage. The simulation results are quite encouraging and satisfactory. Similarly, the system is tested for the different defuzzification methods, and based on the results, the centroid method elicits the best possible system response.
