Common Method Bias(CMB) may cause the potential inflation of correlations between measures assessed via the same method. The problem of CMB has been well known in behavioral sciences because the survey method with self-reporting is vulnerable to CMB. Thus, the discussion on CMB is still ongoing in the MIS research in US. However, in Korea, the MIS research has never paid attention on the CMB problem. The purpose of this study is to examine the CMB problem in the Korean MIS research. To evaluate the effect of CMB, empirical studies on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) are selected because (1) TAM is one of the MIS research areas studied intensively, (2) TAM is a theoretical model well supported by the existing empirical studies so that the result of this study would have a great ripple effect when the CMB problem turned out to be serious, (3) CMB is domain-specific. 47 TAM samples (out of 45 studies) from three Korean Journals were selected and the relevant data were collected such as correlation matrixes and the measures of the dependent variable. To find and evaluate the size of CMB, two analytic methods (Marker-Variable Technique and Method-Method Pair Technique) are employed. The result showed that there exists CMB in the Korean studies but the problem is not so serious to distort the empirical testing, compared with that of US studies. However, considering that CMB can contaminate the testing results, Korean MIS researchers should explicitly deal with the problem in designing empirical studies and collecting data.

This paper classifies the success factors of collaboration system in the shipbuilding industry. We propose the structural model that identifies the relationship between the success factors and organizational performance. To test empirically the relationship between the factors, we developed the measurement of each factors. This paper has examined the relationship between the independent variables and the mediating variables, also has examined the relationship between the parameters and a final dependent variable. The independent variables are as follows, (1) quality of system including reliability, flexibility, and accessibility, (2) the quality of information including contents, expressiveness, and (3) the partner relationship including the information sharing and the compatibility of strategies. The mediating variables are user involvement, parter trust, and user satisfaction. The final dependent variable is business performance. The hypotheses test proved that the system quality significantly affect user satisfaction, the information quality positively influence on the user participation, and the information sharing and strategic fit of partner relationship positively affect partner trust. Also, the user participation and partner trust significantly affect user satisfaction. Finally, the user participation, user satisfaction, and partner trust have a decisive effect on the organizational performance. The results of hypothesis test verified that the quality of information and system, also partner relationship are important to operate successfully the collaboration system in the shipbuilding industry. Also, the mediating variables are important to explain the structural relationship between the independent variables and organizational performance.

The purpose of this study is to investigate two components of commitment(affective commitment and calculative commitment) and relational equity on loyalty. In addition, The authors analyzed the moderating effect of length of relationship on the effects of commitments and relational equity on switching intention. Major findings can be summarized as follows. It was found that affective commitment made a negative impact on switching intentions and a positive impact on w-o-m. Calculative commitment had no effect on switching intention and w-o-m while it made a negative effect on w-o-m in handset side only. Relational equity appears to bolster a negative effect on switching intention and a positive effect on w-o-m. Also length of relationship seems to moderate the effect of relational equity on switching intention.

The study investigates the media distinctiveness between twitter and other social media and describes how product information interpretation and responsiveness by internet users can be affected by the distinctive characteristics of twitter and blog media. The characteristics include relationship formation patterns among users, channel diversity, immediateness of information communication, information flow within media, media credibility, and management cost. Specifically, we statistically tested whether these characteristics are meaningfully differentiated by users. Results also showed that users perceived product information processing level and product evaluation direction differently based on these media characteristics. The current findings can serve as a pioneering work to provide a theoretical framework for examining social media characteristics and their impacts on consumer perception. In addition, this study practically suggests that marketers and network managers need to use differentiated communication strategies for twitters as a marketing strategic option.

Internet users' desire to share shopping experiences has resulted in the appearance of the paradigm shift called social commerce, which combines social media with commerce. However, while foreign market realizes social commerce in a various way, current domestic social commerce market still seems to be highly filled with social shopping sites offering 50 percent discount, thus causing concerns about market distortion from a cutthroat competition. In order to overcome the limitations of social commerce remaining in the early stage, and to enhance the communication among consumers, this study conducted an empirical study on the social-commerce business models design based on context. The results of the study brought the imaginary, optimal combination model by conjoint analysis, using the segmented group through cluster analysis. To overcome the uniformity of social commerce and to enhance communication among consumers, the context-based optimal combination model should be proposed as the alternative social commerce business model in the domestic market which remains as a simple group-purchase function. Furthermore, this study will be used as an informative reference designing customer oriented service model for social commerce business.

The purpose of this study was to identify the negative factors affecting personnel u-Learning acceptance and to analyze the interrelation among the factors in this research model. The two independent variables avoidable convenience and reliant convenience, based on pilot test results, and learning performance and perceived interactivity, based on the relevant literature, are used to examine the research model. The research problem was tested with data collected from 577 respondents in 23 universities. This study developed and empirically analyzed a model representing the relationship by using the Structural Equation Model. The major findings of this study are, firstly, that the higher reliant convenience is negatively affecting the degree of system use and learner’s satisfaction, whereas avoidable convenience is only affecting the learner’s satisfaction. Secondly, the higher learning performance and stronger perceived interactivity affects the degree of system use as well as learner’s satisfaction. Finally, the degree of system use affects the learner’s satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is twofold: first, to identify the factors affecting the relationships between the organizational context for work innovation(organizational citizenship behaviors, IS innovation resistance, and user IT capability) and the intention of ERP extension usage, and second, to examine the mediating effect of the ERP performance on the relationships between the ERP adaptation and the intention of ERP extension usage. In order to achieve the goals of this study, data were obtained from 304 members of the seven organizations such as manufacturers, distributors and service industries, and were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 5.0. The study results are as follows. There were positive effects of the organizational citizenship behaviors and the user IT capability on the change management activity. The IS innovation resistance had a negative effects on the change management activity. The change management activity had a positive effect on the ERP adaptation. The ERP adaptation had a positive effect on the ERP performance and the intention of ERP extension usage. The ERP performance had a positive effect on the intention of ERP extension usage. In addition, there was a partial mediating effect of the ERP performance on the relationships between ERP adaptation and intention of ERP extension usage. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.

In this paper, we arrange the concept of 'Green' in SCM after literature study of Green SCM and investigate causal relationships between influencing factors, practice level and environmental performance focused on Korean firms empirically and conduct path analysis for hypothesis test using partial least squares regression with bootstrap. Firstly, we divide influencing factors of Green SCM into environmental and organizational factors through the previous studies of innovation diffusion theory and environmental management theory, and then we selected 'uncertainty', 'competitiveness' as the environmental factors and 'top management support', 'perceived benefit', 'training' as the organizational factors. Secondly, we classify practice level of Green SCM into 'internal environmental management', 'green purchasing', 'eco-design'. Finally, we selected 'financial performance', 'environmental performance' as the organizational performance. We conducted a survey on the middle manager of manufacturing companies implementing SCM and an empirical analysis. The results of analysis show that there exist causal relationships between influencing factors, practice level, and environmental performance of Green SCM. We expect that the result of this study will suggest useful information to managers who are responsible for SCM to design and execute Green SCM in strategic perspectives.
